The CLEANEST camp ground I have been to, save one which was brand new! Fantastic, friendly hosts: even in the heavy rain they help you out as best they can, and lead you directly to your site. No drama from fellow campers--overall just a nice, quality place to spend a night or week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fern Lake!
Great place for a 1 or 2 day stay. the owner checks you in and leads you to your site. He gave us directions and tips to some of the places we came to see. Sites are not huge and wifi is weak at best. Sites are gravel and very level. Restroom and laundry are spotless. Would stay again when looking for an overnighter. There is also a section by the lake for campers looking for a longer stay. Very convenient to I-24 and National Quilt Museum.
We stopped for one night, it was a good camp ground for us to stop, hook up, stay and pull out. It was shaded and that helped the camper cool down quicker. We had storms and tornado warning, ended up in block wall bathroom/shower. Didn't see playground but that was ok, it rained.
We stayed here one night on our way through the area with our travel trailer. The fellow who took care of us was extremely cordial and helpful. Our site was almost perfectly level. The campground is far enough off of I-24 that the freeway noise is mitigated to some extent, but it was still ever-present. We didn't use the restrooms or laundry and used our own hot-spots for WI-FI so cannot comment on those. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in the Paducah area.
Very nice campground. Gravel where i was but level. Easy in and out. Clean restrooms.
Great campground. We had a reservation way ahead of time, but they had neglected to get our phone number. We arrived late and they had used our site. They came up with another site for us; helped us get set up; got us a longer electric cord. Very apologetic. Facility very nice. Staff accommodating.
Very friendly and helpful Owners. From the initial reservation process to whatever they could to make you feel at home while I was there. The resort was close to shopping, restaurants, and facilities to gas up my motorhome. I will definitely return when I am in the area.
This is a family owned/operated campground with spacious sites. Wi-Fi is available, pull through sites, camping and back in sites close to the water. They can accommodate large RV's with 50 amp service and sewer, pull-through and easy access off I-24 Cairo Road. Close to shopping, Historic downtown Paducah, 2 really great restaurants practically across the street and on the shuttle route for quilt week (if you are planning on coming in April or September for the AQS Show) Check them out, friendly...
