The park needs some general maintenance. Sites are close together and it would be nice if there was some landscaping (bushes, trees) between sites for added privacy. We paid for the "deluxe patio" site, so we would have more room. It was not "deluxe". We've stayed in other KOA's where the patio sites were beautiful. This was not. They have cable TV, but the picture is not clear and is very snowy. The WiFi is ok. There was a swing on our patio with a weight restriction of 250 lbs. Really?... Read More

My husband and dog couldn't sit on it together, lol. There were a lot of weeds in the bricks of the patio, and gravel on the bricks. Neither a big deal, but indicative of the park's maintenance. They are on the bay, but the road to the bay is in terrible shape. The do have a fenced dog area, and I appreciated that amenity. We were able to get LP onsite, another plus. I did not use the pool, but it look clean and well maintained. The park is closer to Pensacola than to Gulf Shores, so be aware of that. If you plan is to visit the Gulf Shores area, it's a 45 minute drive.

Just over the state line into Alabama, this KOA is a little jewel, located on the waterfront of Perdido Bay. Don't let the steep entry driveway get you down (we scraped our hitch), once you get in it's a very nice little park. Office/store staff very friendly at check-in and escorted us to our site (J-14) helping us orient. Very large pull through site with grass/gravel surface (not quite level) and brick patio, with grill, firepit! And swing. All hookups convenient. Our site had clear sky... Read More

WIFI signal strong.
This KOA has a definite weekend crowd. During the week it was relatively quiet, but on Friday a horde swarmed in, ostensibly to take advantage of the cement pond. Being next to said pool, it got pretty noisy.
Do visit the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola during your visit!

Had a 25ft travel trailer. Thought the restroom and showers were very good. Clean plenty of hot water and water pressure. Premiums sites are nice with concrete picnic pad and swing. We stayed in a value spot because they were booked up for the july 4th weekend. Value spots are small and close together. Nice fishing pier and benches to enjoy the bay view. Nice beach on the bay side. also have cute cabin right on the bay. Very close to Perdido Key beach and Pensacola Beach.
