Would never stay at this park again. Many full time residents that don’t care about their RV’s appearance or how much garbage they put outside their trailers. Although all utilities worked, wires were hanging out and in bad shape. Office is an old trailer house that is never open. The back end of the trailer house has a shower and laundry that is a disaster. Further down there is another shower and laundry that is better but still needs a major cleaning. Out front of the shower/laundry is old torn... Read More

Out front of the shower/laundry is old torn furniture that basically make it look like a slum. No fire rings, picnic tables or any other amenities. Large pull throughs are facing your neighbor so no privacy. Front office (trailer) sign says inspected by Good Sam in 2022. Would really like to know what standards they use. Since this is the 3rd time I have run into this quality listed under Good Sam I think they will list any RV Park as long as they pay. Would never recommend this park to anyone.

We only stayed here 1 night but it was great! I booked it onlline, which was easy. We arrived after 5:00 but the office door had my map taped to it. The pull-thru spot was nice and flat and even had it's own trash bin onsite. As we were walking the dogs we spotted a sign for a nature trail, but we weren't able to explore it. We spoke to a lovely neighbor and helped us find a dinner spot. We left the next morning and intend to return some day!
The gal handling the front office is rarely there argued with me on the price to stay one night after we added one day to our reservation. Failed to communicate effectively. Beware… a lot promised but not professional.
Nice property, easy access and good wifi & tv.
When we checked in there was no information given about restrooms (I don't think there are any restrooms!), etc. Only told password for WiFi after asking. Most of the sites are permanent residents as I saw few sites for overnight guests. No map of the park so had no idea where to or not to walk the dog. No dog bags or "poop" station. Called over a month before time for staying and was not given a confirmation number. Called a couple of days before arriving and the person answering phone said... Read More

Called a couple of days before arriving and the person answering phone said that "if my grandfather said you would have a spot then your will have a spot." Drove almost 500 miles that day wondering if we would have a place to stay. The person who checked us in was nice.

Quiet, shady stay. Friendly service. Close to eating and shopping.
Management was very friendly, We only stayed one night but have NO complaints whatsoever. Bathroom was immaculate, Would stop again on our way to San Antonio
the place is ok except for the fire ants! My wife was severely bitten and stung by them. They don't go away quickly and they itch terribly. Owner just said "watch out for the the ant hills". Why not get rid of them?
Had doubts as we drove through a neighborhood to get to the campground but was pleasantly surprised when we turned into the entrance. Well maintained and roomy sites. Great place for an overnight stay. Manager/Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Paid $27.00 for a 1 night stay.
Too many permanent residence. They need to be separated and trees put up to cover up their stuff! Super nice man runs it. Great porch swing.
We stayed in a 31 ft class c. we enjoyed the stay and all ways do. Good place to stay great price and even has cable tv for all. Has a few full time campers but oOlder nice park lots of trees but no problem. Clean and well taken care of,clean and secure bathrooms as well as a place to do laundry. Great location easy access , every one was helpful, the owner and the staff was great.Nice to fish off the covered dock .
This is a nice quiet wooded campground. The gravel sites are level and roomy with FHU's. The WiFi was surprisingly good. Our pull-through site was more than long enough to fit our 42" Class A with a toad. No picnic tables but a large garbage can at each site. It is a great value at $25.00 for Good Sam members. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to explain what sites to visit in Mobile. The road in is a little narrow but easily drive able.
This is a nice, quiet little campground. The gravel sites are level and roomy. We only stayed one night. Our pull-through site was long enough for our 36' Class C with our Ford Escape in tow, and there was plenty of room for a larger RV. It only cost $25.20 with our Good Sam Discount. The people are very friendly. The building where the office is located is actually a park model home. The office is the living room. There is a kitchen next to the office. The people are very friendly. The building where the office is located is actually a park model home. The office is the living room. There is a kitchen next to the office. You go down a hallway, and there is a small bedroom which is now used as a library. There are two washers ($1.50) in the hallway and three dryers ($1.50) in another room that was once a bedroom. I also looked in the bathroom. All are very clean. The only problem was the road into the campground. You have to go about half a mile on Old Military Road, which is a very narrow paved road, to get to the campground. The roads in the campground are also narrow. To avoid the difficult turn onto Old Military Road, turn into the driveway just before you reach Checkers. It goes through a large parking lot with an exit onto Old Military Road.
