We camped at the Klondike RV park in Soldotna, AK for one night during the second week of July 2019. The RV park was very easy to find located just a few blocks off the Sterling Highway. We checked in with a very friendly owner/manager of the property. At our campsite we had full hook-ups with 30 amp electricity, water and sewer connections for $57 per night. While this price is higher than I would like to spend to camp, this seems to be a typical cost for a nice campground in Alaska. Our campsite... Read More

While this price is higher than I would like to spend to camp, this seems to be a typical cost for a nice campground in Alaska. Our campsite was "nearly level" requiring a 2 inch adjustment of our motorhome to level it out properly. The RV park is esthetically very pleasing with gravel roadways and camping pads with trees separating most campsites. Most sites are back-in however there are a few pull-through sites. Some campsites have 50 amp electric available. There are on-site restrooms, showers and laundry facilities which we did not use during our overnight stop. There was WiFi available but with a strong cell signal our cell phone connection was faster and more secure. There were numerous broadcast TV channels available so cable wasn't needed. The office has a nice store selling a few camping essentials. Very convenient. Because this RV park is one of the most attractive and well maintained in the area, these 35 campsites are in high demand reservations are a must. Soldotna is a great place to stop and this is the RV park I would choose next time we're traveling through this part of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.

We stayed here multiple times on our trip to Soldotna in July, 2016. It is a very nice park, owned by nice people who take very good care of the park. The sites were quite large with plenty of room to park your truck or tow vehicle. There was grass around most of the sites and each site had a picnic table. The rest rooms were always clean. WiFi was very good and free. I would definitely pick this RV park over others in the area. We will definitely stay here if we come back again. If you're coming... Read More
