We camped at the Banff / Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court in Banff National Park for 3 nights during the second week of May 2018. To be clear, this "trailer court" is an RV campground without any permanent mobile homes in it. This park is absolutely beautiful. While it accommodates a lot of campers, this RV park is large enough to give everyone plenty of room. You are not crowded. Rangers at the gate couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We easily found and parked in our pull-through site and connected to water, sewer and 50 amp electric service for $32.50 (USD) pre night. I didn't use the public restroom or shower facilities in the park but they appeared to be adequate in number and were well taken care of. Quiet, you'll enjoy a great night sleep here! This is a great place! I'd give it a "6" if 5 wasn't the top score!

One of the top 5 campgrounds we stayed out during our 94 day Alaskan adventure. All pull throughs, easy access, sites are level and no issue with trees crowding your slides or awnings. Free city bus transportation to town (Banff), and return cost is $2 Canadian ($1 Canadian for seniors). Campground is well maintained, tremendous views, and plenty to see in the surrounding area. A marvelous stay on our vacation. Cannot recommend highly enough.
When in Banff NP, stay at this RV park. Central location trumps any minor problems this campground has. Because it's a National Park campground, sites are well maintained, separated enough for some privacy, and very level. Plenty of room to get trailers in and out of the campground and into and out of a site. Most sites in the Trailer Court are pull-through, which in this case means veering right off the road into the site in a shallow semi-circle, with an island of grass containing the hookups.... Restroom facilities are adequate for the size (the campground is huge--hundreds of sites). Showers are free. Access from the highway is easy as is the trip into town (5 minutes in both cases). Gorgeous scenery is a short walk from the campsites. Wifi is nonexistent since it's a National Park, but Banff town has a library and many coffee shops and restaurants with wi-fi access.
