Driving a 37ft Class A motorhome towing a motorcycle. The facility did assign us to a pull through spot that was EXTREMELY hard to get into. (Site 75) There was a transformer box and fences that made it impossible for us to pull through so we had to drive around and back in. There were plenty of pull throughs they could have assigned us that wouldn't have been so difficult for our size, but the park was full due to the Stampede. After we got settled, it was a beautiful stay (10 days). Our... Read More

After we got settled, it was a beautiful stay (10 days). Our only other issue was our site was only 30 amp and we run 50 so we were constantly blowing and having to reset running our air conditioner. We used the laundry facility which was clean, they even had free movies and book exchange in the laundry area. We didn't utilize the shower area. It was $1 per 3 minutes even if you stay there. Firewood was $9 a bundle and can be purchased in the park store or at the convenience store. The convenience store was plentiful, I think the only thing they didn't have was bread. Very centrally located to visit the parks and Calgary. There is a small fishing pond on site, catch and release only. We would stay here again, but insist on an outer pull through.

I NEVER write bad reviews, but I really wanted to let others know this place is a total rip off. Do not waste your time here unless you want to be nickeled and dimed to death. This is the second time we stayed here. The first time we had a 40ft class A pulling a 25 foot car trailer. I explained that in great detail to the clerk when I called. She assured us that we would fit no problem, WRONG! They have fences and trees planted all around the campsites, which do not accommodate for large turn... Read More

This is the second time we stayed here. The first time we had a 40ft class A pulling a 25 foot car trailer. I explained that in great detail to the clerk when I called. She assured us that we would fit no problem, WRONG! They have fences and trees planted all around the campsites, which do not accommodate for large turn radius need for a big rig pulling a trailer. They would not refund any money when we explained there was no way we were fitting in the site they tried to assign, which btw was $75 a night. They then charged us $30 to stay in the parking lot and charged us another $10 so we could use their showers. We went to take a shower and come to find out they are pay showers even though we paid for the $10 shower card. The shower key get you in and then you have to pay to get the water on, it is $1.00 for 3 minutes of water use. I don't know about you but a 3 minute shower barely gives you time to adjust the water. The second stay we were allowed to walk the lot and find a large pull through spot with a wide enough turn radius and paid for the 50amp fee. We again got a shower pass and were told that since we are staying in the park we wouldn't have to pay for the showers this time as the key card would register that we didn't need to pay. WRONG again. Again we went into the showers and again $1.00 for 3 minutes. The 50 amp socket is positioned so that you can't use it and the water at the same time. We don't have a non-standard plug in or anything unique. It is the same plug in you buy at any RV store and ironically they sell the exact same adapter in their little store. I went over to the office and talked to the lady who charged us for the 50 amp and talked to her since the way they have the site configured you couldn't use the 50 amp and could we get a partial refund for a 30amp connection since there is no way to use the 50amp we were told no as she is now closed (7pm at night and the office sign says until 9pm). So 1 star is what I would rate this. Oh and we were told to use the park wifi was another $15. So I now understand why the only other RV park in this town is always sold out.
