Excellent RV resort. Plenty of space between sites even for big rigs. Facilities beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming. Had a donut and coffee meet and greet Saturday morning. The only thing was weather it was 106° but that's not their fault. Will visit again in the spring or fall.
This was our very first campground experience with our new travel trailer and the bar has now been set pretty high after staying here. The campground is very quaint, which is much to our liking. The sites are separated by a split rail fence with trees, although there isn't much foliage this time of year, but plenty of space and privacy between sites. They can accommodate any size rig with no trouble. The wifi was great, too, which I am given to understand is unusual for a campground. There... Read More

There is a one mile walking path around the creek through the woods which was fun. The laundry facility was very nice, although we didn't use it during our short stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We also felt very safe while we were there. We will definitely be back in the spring/summer when everything is in bloom. Thank you for such a lovely first experience.

This is a really beautiful RV park that is immaculately kept. We were greeted by very helpful staff. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were given a coupon for a Thanksgiving pie (which was delicious) and dog biscuits on arrival. Our site backed onto a grassy area which is perfect for kids to play on. The dog run was well kept, complete with dog obstacles and balls etc. At the back of the property they have a large trail which goes down by the creek which is a perfect place to walk dogs (and kids)... We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

This place is a hidden gem! The staff are super friendly! The camp ground was clean and picked up no debris. The camp sites are very roomy and level. No need for wheel blocks or chocks. It was warm while we were there but there was so much shade from the trees, that you hardly noticed the heat. We met a lot of very nice people. We really liked our stay there. We have already booked for a weekend in October.
Nice park next to a creek. Clean and appeared well kept. However, tree limbs are too low that the site where we were guided, we hit a pine tree that removed our low profile antenna and cut a six foot gouge in our roof membrane. They assumed no responsibility and essentially concluded that I shouldn't have driven into the site without checking.the clearance. So be warned that you may be guided into a trailer damaging situation.
This was our first stay in Camp Verde - We will be back! Zane Grey is a beautiful RV Park and also has cabins to rent for those who do not camp. This allowed our friends to join us. The cabins have a beautiful deck out back with a fireplace. Perfect for a cool evening. Luckily there were a few cancellations, and unknown to us, the staff worked to place us all together in the same area. That attention to service was evident all weekend. The park is immaculate, and our site was right up against a green area which provided privacy. The mature trees created a canopy of shade for almost every site.

Wonderful stay in a fully equipped cabin. Friends who camped with RVs loved the site as well. Not too big but not crowded either. We really liked the space in the cabin and the very nice deck with a gas fireplace. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
We arrived at Zane Grey late one night, with our truck on the back of a tow truck due to a transmission failure. The park operators were very accommodating of our situation and, even though the campground was fully booked, managed to find space for us for an additional ten days while our truck got fixed. The park is exceedingly well maintained. The grounds are raked daily, and vacant sites are cleaned up and raked immediately. Common areas are very neat and clean at all times. The washrooms... The washrooms are, bar none, the best and cleanest we have ever encountered at any RV park. The park is well situated for day trips to Sedona, Jerome, and Montezuma's Castle and other native American sites and the Grand Canyon is within reach.

Entire facility was very well maintained and clean. Large trees provide ample shade and coziness. Park was easy to maneuver and get around in, even for large rigs pulling vehicles. Bathrooms were immaculate. I would strongly recommend this park.
This is a hidden gem of an RV Park! It is one of the best we have stayed in to date. Large sites (you can park a car next to your rig instead of behind), well shaded, large stalls and showers in the bathroom facilities and a staff that wants to meet your every desire. This park is next to Clear Creek and the sounds of the running water is relaxing and comforting. There are trails nearby. Stores are a few miles away so come stocked and prepared. WiFi is fast and reliable with a few options including a free one. We will be returning here!

Best park ever! Very friendly and helpful staff with lots of information on the area. Beautiful setting! Good WiFi! Nice trails to the creek! Level and roomy sites! Wildlife and trees! Just doesn't get any better than this one!
Very friendly and considerate management. This park is BEAUTIFUL! The grounds are designed with RVers in mind...large spots with an abundance of trees...and consideration for privacy and views. The trails on the grounds are incredible - there is an inviting feel to the outdoors in every way. The community area provided a fire pit where we enjoyed great conversation with other guests; we made friends here! We look forward to returning to this park - and highly recommend this facility.
A delightful campground! The campsites are surrounded by large beautiful trees. At night the trees in the campground are softly lighted with decorative lighting. It is a really nice touch yet does not take away from star gazing. Our pull through site was level, spacious and immaculately groomed. The campground borders on a nice little creek which has nice walking trails. The campground management pays great attention to the details. We stayed only one night; but we are going back for a week in November.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean restrooms, lots of well kept trees, grounds well maintained, and a great name, the only thing that would have made this a five star review if the wifi worked.
I considered rating this park as excellent but the drill sargent that checked me in really gave me a bad experience. She not only treated me poorly on an couple of interactions but she also forced one of our members to accept a back-in site when she had reserved a pull thru site. This lady is in her mid to laste 70's and not very experienced with backing up a large RV. As others have stated, the WiFi is not usable. In fact I found that the staff were using their own access points because the WiFi... Read More

In fact I found that the staff were using their own access points because the WiFi is so poor. I was told that they have a new owner for the park and that they will be fixing that problem. The majority of the staff are excellent. I was escorted around the property to show me all of the amenities. We will consider this park for a future visit.

Great staff, helpful and a great shaded spot for our coach. Mostly quiet, especially at night, but during the day, some hwy traffic and they allow pressure washing of coaches. However, no cable, and SLOW wifi (non-existent at prime time). There is not really anything else to do so bring your entertainment.
Zane Grey RV Park is a hidden gem. The staff is super, the facility is very well kept, the neighbors were extremely friendly, every last one I had a chance to meet. Great location near lots of scenic short day trips! I believe this one has become my favorite rv park. Can't wait to get back for another long weekend! Thank you.
We stayed at Zane Grey for our time visiting the Sedona area. We fell in love with this park. The roads and spaces are all gravel/cinder rock, but there are large trees at every space and it gives the park even more of a camping feel. The location is a few miles outside of Camp Verde which means the drive into Sedona is about 40 minutes, however the quiet feel and atmosphere is worth the drive. They have nice bathrooms/showers, covered picnic area with many tables and a community fire pit.... Read More

As with many of the parks that advertise wi-fi, the service is basically non-existent even late at night or early in the morning.

We stayed for two days/nights and were impressed. The staff members were very nice and helpful. The restrooms were very clean which is huge. Very well maintained park and you can rent a movie for a buck! The sites are separated by shrubs and trees making it very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Outstanding park!!! Even though there are a lot of Snowbird's, the sites are neat and many very nicely decorated. There are trees or bushes dividing the sites. The bathrooms are exceptional!! The facility is immaculate, trees and bushes trimmed, not an ounce of trash. We would not hesitate to stay again and longer for sure!!! And I don't want to forget to mention the fabulous staff. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!
Very nice park with excellent utility connections compared to others I've seen. Be cautious if you plan on making adjustments to your stay as they refuse to provide refunds if you need to leave early. Citing "the boss doesn't give refunds unless it's an emergency". Unacceptable in my book.
This is not a family friendly campground. No one under 18 is allowed.
We really liked this RV Park. Very friendly staff, an escort to our pull thru site, a lot of shade trees, pet friendly , and the shower facilities were very clean. We would stay here again anytime.
This was a Great park. It had lots of trees and shade, the restrooms were very clean and new. The campground was very, very clean. The people were helpful and welcoming. I would camp there again.
The best RV park I've ever stayed in. The spaces are huge and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This RV park is also perfectly located to drive to Montezumas Castle, Tuzigoot, Sedona and very cool town of Jerome.
If you are ever in the Camp Verde area be sure to stop here. We stopped late on a Saturday afternoon and were invited to the camp pot luck even tho we were not able to bring anything to eat. The people made us feel like one of the gang and the food was terrific. By the way, the blower didn't start until 9:30am. Very friendly camp host.
We came across the park while using the Good Sam Club website. What a wonderful surprise. Extremely Clean and Friendly!!! Our only criticism is related to the constant cleaning that goes on in the park. They have the blowers running all morning everyday!!! It's hard to relax in that setting. We have to leave for the day so as to not get overly annoyed. The setting is very nice with tree lined walking trails. I just love it here. I just ask that they limit the blowers to just perhaps One Hour a day. Read More
