OK RV Park is more than okay! Quaint, quiet and delightful full service park with very hospitable hosts. Clean, roomy pull through sites, 50/30/20 Amp w/full hook ups. Close to Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks. We were here three days to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars!!! Thank you Taylor!!!

Now called OK RV Estates. Purchased last year and is being refurbished. Plan to add a pool. All sites are gravel, which appears to have been recently redone. Some sites have concrete patios and hookup areas. Sites are very long (108’) and narrow (18’) buddy sites but because they park each RV at the full opposite end of each site you are not packed next to each other or staring at their hookups. It appears that many sites have 3 sewer and 2 water hookups. Didn’t use any of the facilities. Office... Read More

The mobile home park is now fenced off from the RV park. Easy access from I-40 from either exit 286 on the west (closest) or 289 on the east. Note: There is a new Maverik fuel stop right next door that has RV/truck diesel lanes with DEF.

Stayed only a couple of nights. Sites are big enough for our 43 ft fifth wheel and pickup. Neighbors face opposite direction so didn't fill crowded. Didn't use any of the facilities. Shopping and eateries are right outside of park. Grocery store is further away and ok. Stayed here during the shut down.

They were very accommodating. Had a great handicap bathroom.

Easy access from I-40. Close to both the north and south gates of the Petrified National Forest. Nice, long spaces. RVs are staggered on opposite ends of the spaces so you're not looking directly into you neighbors' windows. Also, this is the first park I've seen that provides a row of septic ports. I believer there were 6 or 8 septic hookups, making it wasy to reach AND avoided the need to cross clean water lines with dirty septic hoses. This is a REALLY nice touch. No designated dog park however,... Read More

No designated dog park however, there is plenty of open area to walk dogs. On the downside, several of the laundry machines were broken and stole money. The broken units were not disconnected or marked in anyway. It only became apparent after they ate quarters.

We stayed 2 nights. It was raining so there was mud everywhere. Their streets are paved but where the rigs are parked there is dirt/mud. Their wifi is secure but it's in & out, cable TV is snowy and you have to use their cable wire to connect to your rig, electric was 30amp and all was old. Bathrooms were clean but showers were like being in a cave, narrow and small. It was quiet at night, train whistle noise was in the distance.

We enjoyed our stay at this park while visiting the area. The office staff were super friendly and had coffee every morning. The sites are nice and long and easy to get in and out of. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through the area.

My wife and I were passing through and stopped for a couple nights. I read the reviews and found some good and some not. If you are looking for green grass, flowers and large shade trees then this place is not for you. If you are looking for a safe, clean facility and caring people then this is it. One aspect about this place that is ABOVE most are the people that work there. These folks refunded my second night without asking searched for, found and made reservations at an RV park close to the hospital. They were so very supportive for my wife who had to get everything moved to Flagstaff A Very special THANK YOU, You guys went above and beyond the call of duty.

This park was like it's name - OK. It gave us a place to stay. There is nothing really more than that to it. A city street runs through it so it is definitely not secure. We locked everything up each time we had to leave. We stayed to go to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert and it was a good location for that. Bathrooms were old but were clean. Nothing to do in Holbrook that we found.

Stayed overnight here. Not bad as overnights go. Nice long pull throughs. Easy in and out. Didn't use restrooms or laundry. Did almost run over mentally challenged biker. Police trough the park multiple times endure to calls. Lights and sirens both times. Didn't feel in any danger. Slept well.

This place may have history, but the sites are narrow, extremely uneven and very long. The bathrooms were clean, but desperately need, at a minimum, new shower heads. The wind is relentless, but I have to say that I didn't hear any traffic and slept very well. There are a number of restaurants nearby, a decent Safeway grocery store is within 5 miles. The Petrified Forest National Park is fairly close and is well-worth a day trip.

Only after reading the October 2015 review about this park's history do I understand why this park is as it is. I found it desolate and almost inhospitable (it was a windy day and that was likely the reason for poor ambiance); not a place I would recommend for a relaxing stay. However, the lady in the office -- as well as the office building itself -- was wonderful. The pull through sites are very long. Ensuring that you pull into the correct site due to confusing site numbers is interesting.... Read More

Ultimately, I would return if I needed to stay in the Holbrook area again.

A quirky place but I really did like it. The bathrooms are old but interesting in a nostalgic sort of way. More importantly they were warm and the water was hot. The people who worked here were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. It was convenient to Petrified Forest NP and the town of Holbrook was interesting with lots of Route 66 gems.

Overall, I agree with the Good Sam rating of this park. It's just your typical RV park in the Southwest with adequate facilities, gravel roads, and good 50 amp 120v power. WiFi signal was reasonably strong, but occasionally had to re-connect. Cable TV reception was snowy with some interference. The site we were on was not level, which is a pet peeve of mind, but for an overnight stay, I didn't switch sites. This park is adequate for an overnight or few days stay to see attractions in and around... Read More

Stayed in a 45 ft. motorhome. Long and narrow sites. Wifi is pretty good, Not much to do in Holbrook but very convenient to the Petrified Forest. Showers and bathrooms do not meet my standards for cleanliness.

The sites were laid out in an unusual way, and it was very muddy the day we checked in. The sites were also very narrow, and I had to keep the shades pulled so I wouldn't be looking into my neighbor's window. Be prepared to hear trains all day and all night! It was close to everything we wanted to see, however, and we discovered new treasures, like the Navajo County Historical Museum and the original Wigwam Hotel on Historical Route 66. This is a must to see if you are in the area.

This campground is layed out where your utilities will hook up no matter where your parked in the site. We would stay here again, most eating places are within walking distance. The park was very clean and yes windy. They have a very nice petrified wood display. The staff was very nice. Thank you for the stay.

This is a really unique park with a lot of history. In the '70's a power plant was being built in the area, a multi-year project. Workers' housing was established in Holbrook. A trailer park with city streets and services was set up. When the job was done all the mobile homes were pulled out leaving concrete pads behind. Now about half of this subdivision is given over to manufactured homes and the other half became OK RV Park, which has really, really long pull through sites and really, really... Read More

This is a really unique park with a lot of history. In the '70's a power plant was being built in the area, a multi-year project. Workers' housing was established in Holbrook. A trailer park with city streets and services was set up. When the job was done all the mobile homes were pulled out leaving concrete pads behind. Now about half of this subdivision is given over to manufactured homes and the other half became OK RV Park, which has really, really long pull through sites and really, really long cement patios because double-wides used to sit here fifty year ago. This is a one of a kind park, I think, because two named and signed city streets pass through the park dividing it into three sections. Holbrook traffic not associated with the park passes back and forth all the time. They are not trespassing. Look both ways going to the laundry. The park is very clean, neat and well run. Check in was easy at the office with some very nice people to help. Pay attention to their instructions for getting to your assigned site. Because the sites are close, yet very long, they park people at either end of their site in an odd and even scheme. The park is maintained as well as can be expected for Arizona. You won't find grass or flowers, but they work hard at keeping trees through irrigation. A maintenance crew can be seen every day cleaning the bathrooms and raking and cleaning around the sites. Unfortunately it is so arid that sand and gravel is about it for landscaping. The bathrooms and showers are old and dated but clean and comfortable to use. The equipment is worn, but I think much of the wear is from cleaning and just years of use. Updating would be major due to the configuration of the building but individual fixtures could be replaced. The laundry is large with 6 of each washer and dryer at 1.50. Site utilities were very easy and convenient hookup. There are so many sewer hookups at each site you can't miss. Wi-Fi is good with more than one hot-spot to choose from. Cable is excellent with good pictures and many channels. With the Holbrook city roads came city lighting and patrol by city police, this is a different but very functional rv park. The park is nice, the people that own it are absolutely dedicated to your comfort. We would be glad to come back, this is a good place to be.

This is not a fancy park, but it is easy to park your rig in their very long sites. Great for an overnight stop as there is not to many choices on the east side of Arizona off I40. We have stayed at this park 3 or 4 times. They had coffee and muffins for customers in the morning.

Nice park. Gravel with cement pads every other site. Restroom and laundry could use some TLC but were usable. Try and get a site that puts the back of your RV to the wind, lots of wind. Some noise from I-40 and train whistles.
