We stayed at Mountain View RV park from late September to December. As you drive towards the campgrounds it looks like you're driving by a dump. Bathrooms and clubhouse are clean but the service is undesirable. My husband and I 1st came to Mountain View RV park to long term stay. We stayed at Mountain View RV park from late September to December. As you drive towards the campgrounds it looks like you're driving by a dump. Bathrooms and clubhouse are clean but the service is undesirable. My husband and I 1st came to Mountain View RV park to long term stay. We were advised that we would not have a large site for about month and we still agreed to stay. Moving is not a huge deal as long as you know where you are moving to and the site doesn't change. Of course the rig you have must fit in the site they are putting you. We started in a regular site with a large rig. I'm ok with that there were no trees in our way. We moved to a large site after 10 days. We were placed in that large site for about a month and a half and were advised we would be moving back to a regular site, that had no trees and would not block our slide from going all the way out. We were fine with that. As we approached our move day we noticed our site was already occupied "rented out". The manager spoke to me advising me that we would be moving to a site that had a large slanted tree to the left of the pad. I explained that would not work with our rig. We wouldn't be able to let the full slide out completely. We were then placed on a site that another camper had reserved over a year ago. We felt horrible for the family that reserved that site. To top it all off the site we moved from the people didn't even show up. We do not understand how such a large company does not have an up to date reservation system. Everything is done like they live back in the 50s. The amenities are lacking. They have some excercise equipment that could potentially cause more harm than good. The grounds are kept clean and we did enjoy participating in the events that brought many of the camp residents together. However to make it easier for the employees and the camper that are coming to stay, short or long turm, the company needs to update the way they do business. In regards to how a person makes reservations and where they "the manager" places you on what site. THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS! This is posted in the office on a small sign taped to the wall. This is and should be printed on all receipts. We advised them we were leaving early that is how we found out about no refunds. They advised us because you signed a piece of paper agreeing to all rules and regulations that is what you agreed to, no refunds. Again the only place "no refunds" is posted is in the clubhouse. The rules around the park are posted at the clubhouse, dogs on leash, pick up after your pets, and hours of quiet time. The rules say nothing about no refunds. The long turm folks that come yearly are great people but as far as the business I would think twice about staying here.

This was a very clean park with good views of the mountains. The showers and laundry were clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The park had 2 potluck meals while we were there. Everyone was very friendly- a very pleasant place to stay. Centrally located for places to visit in the area.

Very nice park, gravel parking but level, nice concrete patio. Paved streets and easy access. The park staff is friendly and accommodating. The maintenance man is super helpful, I was working on my coach, he came over and asked if "their was anything he could do". The reason for a four star rating and not a five is although the WiFi is strong throughout the park the internet speed is slow. I'd definitely stay again.
