Our fourth extended stay. There will not be a fifth unless things change for the better. Inconsistent pool and hot tub availability, cleanliness of washrooms, workout rooms and equipment, washers and dryers in the laundry room under repair. New owners are not concerned with maintenance, the primary concern is selling and renting new park models. Office staff either do not care or are under orders from upper management to save money, not sure!

Stayed Oct thru end of March 2021 (still here). Overall it's not bad, but for an extended stay RV park, the WiFi is essentially unusable (Tengo) and the cable TV freezes often. The owner decided to close down all indoor activities (wood shop, lapidary, art, etc) against the wishes of most. He/they claim Pima County advised they had to close everything down however, I contacted the county and found out that is a lie. Additionally, the gyms, salons (there is a hair salon onsite) and other indoor... Read More

Additionally, the gyms, salons (there is a hair salon onsite) and other indoor activities are all still open. They refuse to reduce the $4,000 seasonal cost, even though we can't use the very facilities that brought us here. There is no shade in the RV area, which isn't a big deal, except 20 degrees above normal (80s) is not uncommon. The train park and the food trucks that come are the best thing about the park, but other than that, we will use the Tucson KOA again next year.

NO REFUNDS...NO EXCEPTIONS! I am spending the winter here (5months), and came specifically to participate in an organized activity. On January15th, they closed that activity indefinitely. I went to the office and politely asked if I could get a pro-rated refund for February and March, since I cannot participate in the activity for which I came to Rincon. The response was "Absolutely not!" If they cannot provide the activities marketed on their site, shouldn't they be willing to provide a refund?... Read More

I will never come here again, and suggest that anyone considering Rincon, should check other places where rational and considerate customer service is provided.

Overall this is a gorgeous park with friendly staff and we have enjoyed our stays (usually 4 months)! They continually make improvements and answer all maintenance requests in a timely and friendly manner. They continue to request park model residents to maintain their models to acceptable standards (which we are extremely glad for). This is one of the best parks in Tucson and we definitely will return! We recommend this park to all of our family and friends.

These are not 5 star rest rooms. They are not cleaned properly. The toilet seats are not firmly attached to the toilets. This can be dangerous for some people. I used the showers and got a fungus on my leg and face from the hand held shower head. I saw the same black hair in the handicap shower for over three months. The water has been turned off for repairs twice this month, The cable TV is $50 a month. It does not work consistently. It is not working right now. The pickleball and tennis... Read More

The pickleball and tennis courts have dangerously large cracks in the surface. Both the swimming pool and the hot tub have been closed at inconvenient times this season. The dumpsters are almost always overflowing and smelly. We were awakened at 3AM one morning to the sight and sound of our electric meter blowing up only a few feet from where we were sleeping. Many of us who stay here for the season received letters demanding we maintain our property to a very high standard. One person was told the paint on her park model was not shiny enough. This park needs some serious investment in maintenance and infrastructure by the owners. The Good Sam rating does not accurately reflect the state of this park.

Hours of operation (closing at 4:00) are not good for traveling RVers. This park seems to be focused on permanent residents. Got to park a little after 5:00 after a 400+ mile drive and even though we had made a reservation and paid a reservation fee there was NO welcome packet and thus we had no wifi, no information about TV channels, etc. until we went to the Office the next morning. Besides we were directed to a site that was in the direct sun with temperatures over 100 degrees. There were other vacant sites that were shaded and we had to plead to get to move a short distance to a shaded site. We were told other rigs were coming in but in the several days we were there no new rigs arrived. We planned to stay at the park for three days and cut the visit short. My companion could never connect to the wifi and my speed was slow and spotty. We are new RVers and picked this site based upon the rating by Good Sam. Makes me wonder how these ratings come about. The showers and rest rooms were in good shape and clean and the front desk personnel, when they were finally opened, were friendly and apologized for the problems checking in but seemed like they would do nothing to solve the issue. Would not recommend this park.

We spent 5 months during the winter of 2015-2016 at Rincon Country West. We have been fulltime RVers for 15 years and this is definitely one of the finest resorts we have stayed in. It is large, well landscaped, has lots of activities and entertainment, and very friendly people (both in management and other campers). There are over 70 clubs that one can participate in briefly or for a longer time. For example: quilting, bicycle riding, motorcycle riding, playcrafters (drama group), Villageaires... Read More

There is just no way to be bored here.
