***DOES’NT HONOR GOOD SAM DISCOUNT **** We rented their RV. It was nice and clean. The camper spots were very close to each other. Not much to look at on the outside: Gravel road made it dusty and not much greenery. Not much of the camping experience as we’re used to
Site 2 & 2A were large enough. Amenaties for the price, over $60 per night w/discount, were lacking. No pool and no cable, even though they have the connection box. Will not stay here again. Also quite noisy as it is right next to the truck entrance to a Love's.
I had to end my stay early because of no heat and freezing temperature inside that contributed to me and my family becoming very sick. I requested for staff to fix heat but couldn't due to motor to system being burnt out and it was to late to do anything. My family was there for two nights in the cold and was not offered anything until I called and ended my stay. Company is refusing to refund my last night even though the situation was not in my control and they were in violation of rental contract... Read More

This facility was not what we were expecting. It is a bit noisy but there was plenty of shade. The layout of the hookups is a little odd but worked for us. The only place in the shade where we could BBQ was right next to our neighbors sewer hook-up and he was dumping his tanks while we were cooking. Although the bathrooms are clean, they are too small for the number of spaces in the park and a LONG way from most sites. There are no dumpsters or trash cans but when we left our trash by our trailer... Read More

There are no dumpsters or trash cans but when we left our trash by our trailer door it disappeared. When I asked about a dumpster I was told there was a trash can next to the office and it was very small. They did not mention trash pickup so I don't know if that is a service they offer. What they call Glamping is a bunch of new trailers that they rent out. The overall appearance of the campground is not appealing but at least there were some mature trees. Overall, if I was to need a camp site in Williams again, I would look elsewhere first.

This is one of the worst RV parks I have visited. RV are crammed in like sardines. Not enough picnic tables for all sites. I was told I could "move one myself" that was not in use. For almost $50/night I should not have to move a picnic table. Laundry is free but only 1 washer is available for campers. The rest are for staff to use washing linens for their rental RVs. No shade. The park is between the interstate and a Loves travel center, so you are bombarded with truck noise 24/7. They have a... Read More

Upon check in I was assigned a site. The park provided a guide to the designated spot. After pulling into the spot it was determined that my sewer hose would not reach the dump connection for a 3 day stay. I was told I could purchase another section of sewer hose in the park office (which later I discovered they had several boxes available) I explained that I paid for a "full hook up" site and I was not going to spend more money on equipment I did not need, The next option was to back the fifth... I was told I could purchase another section of sewer hose in the park office (which later I discovered they had several boxes available) I explained that I paid for a "full hook up" site and I was not going to spend more money on equipment I did not need, The next option was to back the fifth wheel up and pay an additional $20 per night to occupy the site behind me to access the sewer hose connection. I refused this option as well. Then i was told that they had a 40 foot trailer site available. Upon inspection of the electrical connection available (50 amp) I discovered that the ground was not connected. so I picked up my equipment and went to the office for a full refund (as I had paid in full on check in). I was told that he park policy was no refund after check in. I immediately called my credit card company and had the charges removed from my account. This park is located next to a truck stop (noisy) and had very little shade. This park had poor management and no reasonable refund policies I would not recommend staying there.I made an honest effort to do business with this facility and was not afforded the courtesy of a refund of full payment for a 3 night stay.
The place is a rip off of ant RVs who come through. Complete idiots, avoid at all cost.

The sites are not aligned with most sewer hook-ups unless you have extra tubing. We were not able to use the hook up. The said they had a dog run. It was a fenced area with lava rock and not very inviting. The site locations had a lava rock and stuck in shoes and especially hard on the paw pads of the dogs. No extras here! Not on a return list of campgrounds.
We called while on the road for a site for one night. I asked if they had a pool and I heard uh-huh (meaning yes). We got to the facility and there's no pool. Also, the sight they put us in was a tandem sight even though I told them we were towing and would like a pull through. We pulled through, all right but the sewer hook up was too far for our hose to reach from where the attendant placed us, so we backed up to make our hose reach. He came back and said we had to move back where he had put us because another rig was coming in that night and was going to be put on the "back" of our site. So we moved up and he brought us an additional length of hose, that worked out ok. However, NO ONE came onto the back part of the sight. I feel we were lied to and I just don't like that kind of business dealings. I will never stay here again.

Very clean and well kept.
I was a little disappointed with this Rv park. It was next to a Loves Travel center where you can hear the trucks all night coming in and out and engines running as they sleep. The laundry room was disappointing. There are only 2 washer and driers for the whole park which has a 101 spaces and is only open 8-6pm. Only bonus was there was no charge to use them. They advertised sat TV but only received 8 channels and one was a directv cinema advertisement. The lot sizes were big and level. The... Read More

The receptionist seemed like I was bothering her when I had questions.
This is a overnight style RV park. I would not recommend anymore days than that.
I would not stay here again if I come to the Grand Canyon again.

Two rows of double sites with the restroom/office on one end. Sites were level and made of crushed red stone. Trees lined the center drive into the park and in my case caused difficulty with receiving the satellite signal. When a site change was requested, I was told they do not accommodate satellite needs and had cable. The cable only had two of the three national networks, one news channel (Fox), one sports channel and four other channels. These were not the stations I needed. There were other... Read More

There is a small fenced pet area. Three showers and toilets in the restroom area.
There was a $2.08 charge for the reservation online fee. So with taxes, Good Sam Discount, a two day charge was $86.19.

Really grateful for our sweet lil' visit @ Canyon Gateway! The property is simple but sweet! Clean bathrooms with awesome hot showers and a free laundromat. The management and staff are so friendly and helpful. It was our second time ever using hook-ups so we were a little confused on how to do it all, but they were so kind and helpful!! Attached is a little path to an awesome gift shop/gas station! The town with great restaurants and the train is a quick little drive with the best window shopping... Read More

Too many full time residents that pull down the cleanliness of the rv Park. Would not stay here again
I am not sure what the point is of letting you pick your campsite online when you book if they aren't going to let you camp in that spot. No where on their page did it say if you have a motorhome you can't have the pull through sites. Those spots are for campers and 5th wheels. I booked an A site and was stuck in a non-A spot when I arrived. Was informed I would have to pay for two spots or unhook my tow vehicle. I will say that the grounds guy was very helpful in trying to find the best spot that... Read More

I will say that the grounds guy was very helpful in trying to find the best spot that would work for our rig. Just be aware that if you book a spot online you will more then likely not be getting that spot upon arrival. They do have a pet area. Their laundry room was broken which was another reason I booked this location. I understand that happens and it was out of their control. They did try to accommodate but I am not sure why I could book what I wanted online but upon arrival I was not given the requested spot.

Restrooms were not fancy, but had a very good setup for a handicapped shower. The floors were very flat, no steps or large door sills to imped someone using a walker or a cane. The outside door had a lever style door handle, the inside door did have a round type door knob. I have been in a number of restrooms and showers, these were the most accessible I have used. The campground itself was fine, not exceptional but nice. Our space was fairly level.
This is a trailer park that is disguised as a rv park. LONG LONG time residents. It appears to be if you break down in your RV this is the place to call home forever. I would not recommend FAMILY camping here.
We stayed here one night on our way to the Grand Canyon, and it was good, except for the noise from the truck stop. No problems with hook-up and it was pretty level. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms and showers, and I was able to get a wifi connection using their wifi code.
Laundry room left a little to be desired. Out of 5 washers, 4 were out of order and 3 dryers were out of order. Park is ok for an overnight stay. Parking a big rig was kind of odd but worked.
Staff is very helpful and accommodating. There is not much to this park other than pretty level sites. If your using it as base camp for the GC then it will work, if your going to be spending lots of time at the RV park you may want to find another option
We were excited to be in the Williams area for the first time and we are fairly new to RV'ing so we have a LOT to learn. Having said that, one of the things we learned in a hurry is to ask to see the RV Park and the rental space BEFORE paying for anything! We paid and then drove in to our spot which was right next to someone who obviously lived there perhaps year-round who had some cheap wire fencing around their trailer and two dogs living under it. Several of these scenarios in this place. After... Read More

Several of these scenarios in this place. After we realized our mistake, I went to the office and said this wasn't going to work for us and could they charge us for one night and refund the rest. Nope. Even though there was NO information stating no refunds posted or on anything I signed, they just kept the money anyway. Much nicer RV parks around than this one.

This is not a park for traveling RV'rs, it is a camp for low income permanent dwellers. All types of old trailers and RV's. . Most surrounded with fences, trash, misc junk. old vehicles. Owner is obviously not interested in attracting the average traveling RV'r. No effort is made to clean up or police the park. Many better parks in Williams.
This park is just a gravel pit with trees. The appearance of the park is truly frightening due to the filthy areas around the long term residents. The front end of the park is not nearly as bad as the back end. We were placed at the back end and I was honestly concerned for our safety and our property. We pre-paid for 2 nights and upon our arrival we wanted to immediately make our departure. Refunds are not allowed so we stayed and only ventured out for our Grand Canyon tour. This facility really needs to place restrictions on the long term residents as they literally have extreme amount of junk around their trailers . Spare tires , chain link fencing and numrous cars per site are common at this "park". The rate per day at this park does not warrant more than $12 per night as it really is a dump. Save your money, keep driving or spend the night at the truck stop across the street.

Pulling 33 ft 5th wheel. We were put in a site and required to pull up within one foot of a trailer in the same line. We asked to move back so that we could unhook our truck for travel. There was no place to park it unhooked. We either had to ask the trailer in front to move or back out of the site with those beautiful trees all around us. No table and no space to sit outside by RV and cook. I've never run into this procedure before. Very inconvenient. We were not pleased.
My family and I have been traveling over the last month and we have been impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. We loved the views and would definitely come back when we travel through AZ. We highly recommend this for everyone!
Since the Love's truck stop has moved in up the hill this park is very noisy. We were in the back sites right near the road going up to the truck fueling lanes. Other sites near the front would be good. Also the site we had been given was right next to a site that they were letting people use as a dump station. Perhaps it was because we only wanted the one day and then were leaving the next morning.
The park itself was ok. We didn't utilize the restroom or showers. We only had wifi soradically and then for only a short period of time. We were told "we'll have him reset it. We have trouble up there (presumably on our end of the campground). Also, we were in space 10 and the electrical connection was worrisome. If you even bumped the door to the connection, the electric would shut off. We did not notice noise or lights from the truck stop as others have mentioned. People there were friendly... Read More

I was happy with the location--right near the highway but not a lot of noise at the site. It was just a few minutes to town and about an hour to the Grand Canyon. Other campgrounds in Williams have to deal with the train noise and crowds. Site was level, but we were on the side with no trees. I would stay here again but would ask for a different site. We stayed in a 32" TT.
