Notes from our stay: -No Internet at sites -Tiny, narrow lots with trees and poles on either side of RV parking sites -Narrow roads add to the difficulty in parking -Large smoking area at main pool, along with blaring music all day -Office only open 9-3 M-F ----Reasonable rates but you get what you pay for!

Sun Vista RV Resort ripped us off in 2022 for over $1300 and then separated us from our friends in November 2023. Sun Vista RV Resort ripped us off in 2022 for over $1300 and then separated us from our friends in November 2023. Office booking staff were rude, sarcastic, belittling when we tried on multiple occasions to have them honor our booking made earlier in the year. They are operating an old school reservation system with booking slips and without any written confirmations for any bookings. No receipts either electronically or written are given when money is paid for sites or reservations, so you have no recourse to follow up. We did not receive a confirmation letter for our 2023-2024 stay. We first booked a stay at Sun Vista arriving in December 2022 for 3 months. We are Snowbirds, travel South with our friends and always book to stay beside each other in the resorts in our 5th wheel trailers. After arrival and check in, we found out that the resort offered a $400 deal for first timers. We returned to the office to inquire why we weren't offered the deal, and were told it was too late as our check had been cashed. We asked to speak to the on site owners rep. She told us that we were unable to get the deal for this year but could have it for next year and keep our same 2 rv sites beside each other. She filled in a booking slip with this information and said it would be entered into the system when they transfered it into the computer next spring. She did not give us a copy of this. We went back and met with her in late February as we heard that people that got the deal for the 2022-2023 could repeat at the same rate for 2023-2024 season but were not able to select their site. She went through the pile of booking slips and found ours with the rate and site numbers and promised us that all would be good for the next season. At this point we had lost out on savings of $1320 by not getting the 2022-2023 first timers deal. Upon arrival in November 2023, we found out that our sites had been moved and we were separated from our friends that we always stayed beside. They were given the site we were on our last stay and we were moved away further down the street. We went to the office to try and resolve this and were told that if you got the deal, your site was moved. I then said that we had not gotten the deal the previous year and were assured that we could have the same sites. She said the owners told her to move everyone. (We have since learned of at least 4 site renters that received the deal for the 2nd year and were not moved from their sites.) I asked if we could move to the site beside our friends as it was empty. The booking clerk said it was booked for Nov 8th. Later that month someone moved into the site beside our friends and we found out they were to be there less than 3 weeks. I returned to the office to ask if the site was booked for the remainder of the season and were told there were 3 bookings for the site. Later in the month we returned to the office to ask if the future short term bookings could be moved to our site and we take the site beside our friends for the remaining 4 months of our stay. The booking clerk became rude and sarcastically belittled my wife as she tried to explain that her medical condition was part of the reason that we always stayed beside our friends while traveling and staying in rv resorts. My wife then said to the booking clerk that she had met someone that kept their site from last year. The booking clerk said she was not dealing with us any more and walked away back to her desk. My wife was shocked as being treated this way, and turned away muttering under her breath. A large man loomed over the counter and shouted at her saying she would be evicted if she copped an attitude with him. We left the office shocked and feeling trapped as the resort did not give an refunds if you checked out early. We next tried contacting one of the owners of the resort to try and resolve our separation from our friends. The owners did not respond to us and upon following up with their representative, were told that the owner said we would not be moved. The empty site beside our friends was used for one overnight stay in December, one week in January and is still empty as I write this review. The above is why we give such as low rating to Sun Vista RV Resort. The residents are great, but the customer service is terrible and rude.

This park has really gone downhill, it used to be a great place, but now residents there seem to be upset about many things. The cable in the park is terrible, there is no WiFi available, I was told if I wanted WiFi to purchase it myself from the local companies! I heard they got new management recently and it shows. There are many better alternatives to sunvista , you should really look around before making your decision

Amazing park, so many activities and clubs, one has to flip a coin to decide the days activities. The woodwork shop and lapidary are to die for. I spend more time in the day having fun than I did working. The cafe is excellent and the Friday's fish and chips is the highlife of the week. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful to new comers like our selves. I would recommend this park to everyone.
