tough little road to go up from the main road, bigger rigs might not like it too much but can be done. just average RV place not alot of spaces and mostly full timers. it works for a 1 nighter.
We stayed at Cloud Nine RV park with a 22' Forest River TT for three days visiting family. The site was easy to find.. and adequate (pull thru, no fire ring or bench per site) but not 'special'. The gravel was level enough. We were there in off season and saw their meeting room that would be nice for gatherings or reunions, etc. This is on the side of a mountain so no lake, pool, field for sports, etc. and those were the missing ingredients. Restrooms clean, rates reasonable. We are not experienced... Read More

Couldn't invite our grandchildren back to site to do smores or play .. just nothing but roads for kids to play on. So, I would say 'nothing wrong' for adults with their own party going on.. otherwise.. just meh.

I would love to rate this campground as a 5 start and up until dark it would've been. We pulled in at dusk and ate our dinner. Decided to take our two dogs on a walk, both on leashes (a doxie and an English Springer)) when another's guest two pit bull type dogs ran out and attacked our Springer pup. As she fought to get away, squealing and crying, her collar broke and she was able to get away. The owners came out and grabbed their dogs. Ours ran off into the darkness of the campgrounds. As she... Read More

As she fought to get away, squealing and crying, her collar broke and she was able to get away. The owners came out and grabbed their dogs. Ours ran off into the darkness of the campgrounds. As she was running and crying she ran into another guest walking his two bull mastiffs who got away from him and started attacking our pup again. She was still squealing from the first attack. Thankfully she found her way back to our RV and my son let her in. Some how, by the grace of God, she has no injuries. She was soaked with saliva all over her ears, head, and back but there were no tears in her coat. This is the first issue we have ever had at any campground and there are no weight/breed restrictions but I feel that it should be a requirement for guests with large breed dogs to keep their pets on a pronged collar to protect other guests. I am so thankful our son staying on the camper because it could've been him who was attacked instead of our pup.

New management seems very nice and good at taking care of the place. Other campers were friendly. We felt safe and everything worked.
Worst stay ever we left a day ago bathrooms horrible and smelly, sites are trashy and site markers rotten with spikes sticking up. Flower boxes rotten and rotten wood just left were it fell. Because of group staying there we were not allowed to use their clubhouse which I found out group paid what I paid. Grill was out of propane and manager when we called her wasn't going to get any for our use. Cigarette butts were everywhere even saw manager throw her cigarette butts on ground that shows great... Cigarette butts were everywhere even saw manager throw her cigarette butts on ground that shows great management there. Water had a funny taste and smell so we didn't use and cable well let's just say they have no cable plus no Wi-Fi either. We won't be back if looking for a campground in Hot Springs look somewhere else don't come to cloud nine it's a big disappointment.

Great little campground. It's not far from Hot Springs with a direct road there. We came with a trailer hauling motorcycles. There was plenty of room to park trailer and bikes with no problem. At check in the manager even gave us a book that showed all the good riding roads around the area. The manager was really nice and helped with any questions we had. It's quiet and peaceful with nice clean facilities. You can tell they take pride in the place by the way its maintained. I would definitely recommend... Read More

This is a JEM if you like a small, quiet, pretty campground away from the hussle-bustle of big towns. It is sitting on top of a hill with great views of the wooded landscape in this area. Some of the previous posts mentioned the entrance road being rough, steep and curvy but I have experienced much worse at other location with my 40ft coach towing a full size truck. The campground is very clean and well maintained and has a large rec room with a patio and outside grill. We pulled with a 2 day reservation... Read More

We pulled with a 2 day reservation and extended for to a week just to relax a bit while traveling to south Texas.
Large level gravel sites with paved roads. The camp owner and workers were very friendly and helpful and were available when needed to answer questions and provide assistance.
We did not use the restrooms or the laundry but the facilities looked very updated and clean.
We put this one on our 'return to' list when we come back into this area.

Overall: Great little campground and we'd stay here again. It's everything they advertise. Located a few miles east of Hot Springs on Route 70 it is easy to find. At this writing Route 70 is being widened so there is some narrow lane construction going on but it's not bad. Facility - Very well maintained park. The Manager does it all and she stays busy. Roads are paved and wide enough for easy maneuvering. Sites are gravel and pretty level. Restrooms - Shower / laundry is located toward... Read More

Facility - Very well maintained park. The Manager does it all and she stays busy. Roads are paved and wide enough for easy maneuvering. Sites are gravel and pretty level.
Restrooms - Shower / laundry is located toward the back of the park but the park is so small they are a short walk from just about any site. Very clean. A minor issue depending on your modesty level: there is no separate dressing/undressing/entrance to the shower stall.
Appeal - Located on the side of a mountain in the trees. Quiet, wind in the trees quiet. Not much for kids to do but just down the road toward Hot Springs is an amusement park. Heads up: The entrance road is steep with some sharp turns. There are signs stating 'swing wide'. I have a 34ft travel trailer and made it ok.

Steep entry in bad condition. Good view. Wifi good near office. Staff friendly. Good size sites. Very quiet. Beautiful club house.
Loved this place. Away from traffic and very quiet, Homey little touches like rugs at the showers. Very clean and has a friendly staff.
Nice to be a little ways out of town. It was a steep road up, but this afforded a great view from all the sites! Away from the hubbub of town, so very quiet. Friendly desk person. Clean park, few facilities to speak of but would stay here again when traveling to Hot Springs.
