we stayed here for 4 night while visiting Hot Springs Park and town. owner was friendly and informative to the local area with maps and directions for parking and good local eateries. The restrooms and laundry areas were clean and up to date. our site backed up to creek for a pleasant relaxing stay. will definitely be looking this place up again
JJ was very accommodating. Great place to stay when visiting Got Springs National Park
Based on previous reviews of nice rv sites, I booked a one day RV site. The site I was given had no grass, no river view and was quite unremarkable. The affable man I read about was rude. It is not a cash business as stated as they take credit cards. The gravel everywhere and unkept RV park was unexpected. The sites are extremely close together. It is not walking distance to town.
We found this on the Good Sam trip planner. It worked out for us to stop there. This is a nice quiet campground. We picked our spot (under a big shade tree) and as we were setting up, the owner came over and offered to help. Good hookups, cable is ok and overall just enjoyed it. JJ is great. Friendly, helpful and easy to be around. Road is in need of repair (not bad) and he has it planned for this fall. We are planning a trip north to Illinois and this will be on of our places to be for... Read More

We are full time RVERS and this was one of the most enjoyable stays we've had. The owner was super friendly and treated us like family. We had a nice site with plenty of room and loved sitting by the creek at our site. It was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a smaller park so everyone was very friendly. The WiFi and cable worked great. Very convenient access to National Park and downtown. Definitely would return.
April weekday at 5:00 and Hot Springs National Park Campground had No Vacancy. We searched Allstays and found J&J RV Park within a couple of miles. "JJ" picked up the phone immediately and assured us a spot. We found our way there (about $4 cheaper than KOA across the street with our Good Sam discount) and "JJ" could not have been more friendly. Put us in site 10 which is a back-in spot with full hook ups along the bubbling creek. Peaceful. Quiet. Perfect for our one night stay. Looks like... Read More

Looks like there are a lot of seasonal campers but everything is neat. Restrooms clean, little book swap library. One thing worth noting - this is cash or check, and since we carry few checks these days, this is worth noting.

This is a great, family friendly campground. The owner is very helpful in all things. He often goes above and beyond. The people who are long term are very friendly and helpful. The campground itself is kept clean and the spring flowers and flowering trees are beautiful. I will be back.
The campground itself is lovely. The owner is surly and very nosey. They DO NOT except cards so if you don't have cash your SOL.
