To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure - Camp Site check-in is at 3 PM / check-out is at 12 PM. - Lodging check-in is at 3 PM / check-out is at 10 AM. - During peak seasons or inclement weather conditions, all units may not be ready by 3 P.M., and your patience is appreciated. - Our staff takes pride in ensuring the units are clean & maintained before each guest's arrival, and therefore we do not allow guests to enter units that are not yet cleared for Check-In. - There will be no compensation for units not available at 3 P.M. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Disclaimer - We hope you’ll enjoy your stay! Our policies are intended to keep guests safe and enhance everyone’s experience. - We thank you for staying with us and for your help in keeping a family-friendly atmosphere! - By accepting these terms and conditions, I hereby acknowledge that I will inform all occupants, family members, and guests about these terms and conditions and that all such individuals agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions. SAFETY - Guests must be responsible for any members, including minors, of their party. - On-site swimming pools and lakes pose serious safety risks to children and those who cannot swim or who are not very strong swimmers. - It is not allowed to lean, sit, or stand on any railing located in the resort. - Please see the Release, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless Agreement located in this document for more information. - For resort assistant after hours: 270-388-LAKE(5253). Behavior - Holiday Hills Resorts, a DL Family Stewardship, LLC Company is a family-oriented resort. - We want everyone to have fun, enjoy our facilities, and have a relaxing stay. - Please respect other campers, guests, and our park facilities. - This will only be possible with your help. - Please inform all members of your camping party of the policies of the Resort. Please abide by all posted regulation signage throughout the Resort. Quiet Hours - Quiet Hours 10 PM to 8 AM and normal consideration for others. - Weekends & Holidays are 11 PM - 8 AM. Pool - Swimming is included with your campsite or cabin reservation. - All guests of campers/lodging must purchase a day pass for swimming. - Please see the pool policy for more information. - Swimming is included with your campsite or lodging reservation. - All guests of campers/lodging units must purchase a day pass for swimming. A day pass is $5 per person. - The pool does not have a lifeguard. - Swim at your own risk. - Children must have adult supervision. - Only strong swimmers pass the rope unless you have a life jacket on. - Life jackets are available at the office. - Pets are not allowed in the pool. - No glass containers. - Please keep the pool and picnic area clean. - After-hours swimming is not allowed. Fire Rings & Wood - Keep fire rings in their location & fires in rings. - Please do not burn trash of any kind. - In compliance with a request from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, we no longer allow out-of-state firewood in the Park, pests, and diseases that are harmful to our trees and are frequently transported this way. - If, through oversight, you brought some into the Park, please do not take it off your truck/camper/vehicle. - Please transport it back out of the Park when you continue your journey. - We offer firewood for sale at the Campsite at a reasonable price and will gladly deliver it to your site upon request. Speed Limit - The speed limit is 10 MPH. Vehicles - ATVs/UTVs are not allowed, only golf carts are allowed for guests to use on the resort premises. - Two vehicles are allowed per lodging unit as well as campsites. - If additional vehicles are needed, you must see the office to purchase an additional vehicle pass. - All vehicles must display parking passes at all times. Golf Carts - We have a limited number of golf carts for rent. - We recommend reserving at the time you make your reservation. - You must be 21 years old to reserve a golf cart. - A credit card on file is required to rent a cart. Pets - All dogs must be friendly, quiet, cleaned up after, vaccinated, on a leash, and with their owner at all times. - Excessive barking will not be allowed. - Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool, but you may take them swimming in Lake Barkley. - Guests are responsible for their pet's behavior and may be removed due to aggressive behavior. - There are numerous garbage cans around the resort to dispose of pet waste. - We allow pets in cabins at a $40 pet fee per stay fee and $20 for each additional pet. - If you wish to bring a well-behaved pet, contact us at the time of reservation. - Pets must remain in a carrier or kennel if you are away from your cabin. - Damage caused by pets will be charged to the card on file. - Guests are fully responsible for their pet's damage and for cleaning up after the pet. - Failure to notify us of pets will result in a $150.00 fee applied after checkout. Park Use - Firearms, fireworks, over-intoxication, and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. - Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. - Please do not chop, hang on branches, or nail/screw any item to the trees. Boat Ramp - The TVA controls the lake levels; at 356.5' on Lake Barkley, our boat ramp closes to check lake levels click here: https://www.tva.com/environment/lake-levels/barkley. Change In Your Stay - If you shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. Fishing - Fishing is allowed on Lake Barkley; a license is required to fish in Kentucky. - Please purchase here: https://fw.ky.gov/Licenses/Pages/Fees.aspx. Bicycles - When riding a bicycle at Holiday Hills Resort, please obey & respect resort rules. - Also, bicycles are only permitted after dark with proper reflectors and lights for the safety of all our guests. - Bicycles are prohibited go up the hills due to blind spots for golf carts & vehicles. Reservation and Rates - Prices and amenities are subject to change. - Advanced reservations are highly recommended, especially for summer, holiday, and Halloween periods. - A credit card deposit is required when making the reservation. - Must be 21 years of age to make a reservation. - Please note: Prices are subject to change without notice. All rates are subject to State and Local taxes. - If policies are not adhered to, you may be asked to leave without a refund. Commercial Video/Photography - Commercial video/photography is conducted here. - We reserve the right to use any photograph or video taken at Holiday Hills Resort, a DL Family Stewardship, LLC Company, for marketing purposes. Park Activities/Facilities - Activities & available facilities may vary throughout the year. Parking - If you have a rock or concrete pad, the camper must park on the rock or concrete pad. - One camper per site. Tents - You may put a tent on a site for your children. - Otherwise, additional tents will pay an additional tent fee of $20 per night not in the grass. Trash & Cans - Dumpsters are centrally located near the boat ramp of Holiday Hills, along with an additional dumpster on the Townhouse side of the resort. Dump Station - Located next to the Camp store. - We also have a honey wagon if you need to have your tanks emptied during an extended stay($). - Please inquire at the office. Propane - We do have a Propane Refill station at the Camp store. ($) - Our goal is always to provide a great customer experience, if the propane grill is out of propane, please let the front desk know so we can provide a refill. - This is at no cost to the renter of the lodging unit. Smoking - Smoking is not allowed in any of the cabins. - Violators will be charged $250. Damage - Please place all the furniture back in the arrangement in which you found it. - Any damage or missing inventory during your stay will be charged to the card on file. Maintenance - We can not guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, wifi, or other appliances. - Please report any inoperative equipment to us immediately. - We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Linens - Bed & bath linens are provided in all lodging units. - For additional towels an additional guest fee of $15.00 per adult and/or $10 per child. - There is also a daily towel exchange service provided, linens must be outside by 10:00 am under the marked sign for a towel exchange. - Bed & bath linens are provided based on the number of guests the lodging unit sleeps. Lodging Cleaning - Lodging units are expected to be left in reasonably clean condition. - Charges will be assessed for damages and extraordinary cleaning. Item Inventory - All lodging units are inventoried before our guests arrive and immediately after departing. - When inventory has been taken, if anything is missing after your departure, we will charge your card on file for the missing items! If there are damages to the lodging unit(s), guests will be charged accordingly for the broken or damaged items. Lilly Pad, Inner Tube, Etc Rentals - Lilly pads or inner tubes are sent out in working order. - If inner tubes, lily pads, life jackets, or paddles are damaged during your use, you will be responsible for paying for that damaged or lost item.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
