Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Camping Notes: Check In & Check Out Times 1. Check in is 2:00pm. 2. Check-out is 12:00pm. 3. Late check-out is available (if the site has not been reserved for that evening) for a $5 fee and will give campers until 6 pm to check out. 4. A CERA staff member must inspect cabin and camper rentals before check-out is complete. Please see a complete list of Cabin or Camper Rental Rules. 5. While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. General Information 1. All camping units must check-in at the Registration Office during regular park hours. You must be age 18 or older to register for a campsite. Under 18 may not camp alone. 2. One (1) registered camping unit per campsite. An auxiliary tent is possible; however, it must be utilized by the same family unit. One (1) family unit per campsite. A camping unit is defined as either a travel trailer, fifth-wheel, motorcoach, pop-up or tent. 3. Each site is equipped and limited to (1) one picnic table and (1) grill or fire ring, unless approved by management. 4. All CERA facilities are non-smoking facilities. 5. The campground is intended for recreational family camping only. 6. Fireworks are prohibited and Alcohol is not permitted outside of your own campsite Bathhouses 1. There are three bathhouses located in the campground. In order to keep them clean, they will be closed daily during various times. 2. Please note that all bathhouses are non-smoking facilities. 3. Pets are strictly restricted from these facilities. Campfires 1. Campfires are allowed in designated areas, grills, fire rings or approved fire containers. 2. Only wood and charcoal are allowed to be burned. No trash burning is allowed. 3. Only 1/2 rick of wood is allowed to be stored on a site at one time. Dumpstation 1. Conveniently located at the North end of the campground between 4th and 5th street, Ceraland’s dump station provides drive-up service for two units at one time. 2. Please refrain from disposing of plastic gloves in the system. 3. Absolutely no gray water dumping on Ceraland property. Emergency 1. In case of an emergency, please call 911 and notify the Registration Office at (812) 377-5849 ext 100 during the day OR Security at (812) 447-4039 after 10 pm. Children 1. Children may not be left unattended in the campground or at park facilities without adult supervision. 2. Children must be on their campsite by dark unless accompanied by an adult. Parents are ultimately responsible for their children’s behavior. Guests 1. Any guests visiting the campgrounds that do not have a CERApass will be charged the Parking rate upon entrance to the Park. 2. No guests will be allowed entry to the Park after 10:00 pm. Guests are welcome to stay all day but must leave the park by 10:00 pm. 3. Please remember that there is a limit of 2 parked vehicles per site. Campstore 1. CERA has various fishing supplies, camping necessities, RV & tent accessories, and CERA gear located in the Campstore at the CERA Sports building. Internet Access 1. Free wireless access is available throughout the park. 2. Please note that the internet is intended for web browsing, checking emails, and other low bandwidth activities. 3. Gaming, video streaming, and other high bandwidth usage is available for an additional fee. Please see Wi-Fi information for connection details. Laundry Facility 1. The laundry facility, located at the bathhouse at the North end of 2nd and 3rd street, is equipped with 2 washers and 4 dryers. 2. All machines are coin-operated and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Long Term & General Camping 1. All campsites must be neat and clean at all times. 2. No permanent structures, storage units, swimming pools, or water features allowed. 3. Long term campers (6 days or more) will be required to trim grass around campsites as needed. 4. CERAland will not mow or trim sites while camping units are on site. 5. Campers leaving sites unattended for more than 24 hours, should turn off the water. Pets 1. Pets are not permitted on sites 1-18, cabin, or camper rentals. Pets must be kept on a leash (maximum of six (6) foot in length) at all times and under your control. 2. You are allowed to have a maximum of TWO PETS PER CAMPSITE. 3. Your pet must be attended at all times and at night must be enclosed in your camping unit. Excessive noise or aggressive animals will not be tolerated. 4. Owners are responsible for any accidents and cleaning up after their pets. Quiet Hours 1. Quiet Hours are from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. 2. All guests must leave by 10:00 pm. You are welcome to sit around your campfire as late as you like, but please turn off all radios and hold down the noise. Do not disturb your neighbors! Security 1. A night security watchman is provided for your convenience from Memorial Day – Halloween from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am and is located at the Front Gatehouse. 2. Please call (812) 447-4039 for ANY SECURITY issues from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am. Severe Weather Alert 1. Ceraland Park will immediately alert campers of any severe weather over the Park’s PA system. 2. The Sports & Fitness Center will be open for your shelter. Please take shelter there if you have any fear of the weather becoming violent. Trash 1. Dumpsters are provided at various locations throughout the campground. 2. Trash bags will be provided to you upon request at the Registration Office. Please help keep our park clean! Vehicles 1. Each site is limited to two (2) vehicles per site. 2. All extra vehicles must park in a designated parking lot, but will not be given a car tag. 3. Campground roads must be clear at all times for emergency vehicles to get through. This tag is necessary for re-entry to the park. 4. All motorized vehicles (including scooters) must be operated by persons possessing a valid driver’s license. 5. Vehicles may not be operated on walkways. 6. Golf Carts must be registered at the Registration Office. 7. Bicycle riding is not permitted on walkways. 8. No bike, hoverboard, scooter, or skateboard riding after dark. 9. Helmets are recommended. Golf Carts 1. Must be registered at the Registration Office. 2. Only Standard golf carts permitted, no ATV’s or UTV’s. 3. Driver must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license. 4. Golf carts operated after dusk must have front and rear lights. 5. No carts may be used during quiet hours except for travel to the bathhouses. 6. Carts are to be operated properly and remain on roadways. 7. Golf carts are not permitted on Go Kart track or on Ball Diamonds. 8. Horseplay, off-road riding, racing, speeding, or other misuse will not be tolerated and will result in loss of permit without refund. 9. Limit of 4 passengers and all passengers must remain seated. 10. It is unlawful to operate the cart while drinking or under the influence. Anyone found abusing the rules will forfeit operating privileges. CERA MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT FOR ANY VIOLATIONS OF RULES, REGULATIONS OR LAWS. AQUATIC CENTER RULES 1. No one is allowed in the pool without a lifeguard on duty. 2. Children (Age 12 and under) may NOT be left unattended. 3. No glass containers, lawn furniture, radios, coolers, food, and/or drinks are allowed in the pool area. You must keep food and drinks in the concession area. 4. Alcohol is NOT permitted in the park. 5. There will be no running, spitting, fighting, horseplay of any kind, profanity, or vulgarity. 6. There will be NO DIVING except on the diving board. PLEASE SEE THE DIVING WELL RULES. 7. For the safety of all patrons, the lifeguards reserve the right to require a swim test of any patron before entering the deep end. A swim test is swimming one length of the lap swimming lane without stopping or touching the bottom. 8. Per State Regulation, only lined swimsuits are allowed in the pool. No t-shirts or hats are allowed in the pool. 9. If you are a spectator and DO NOT have a swimsuit on, you MUST remain behind the fence in the concession or baby pool area. No exceptions to this rule due to State Regulations. 10. Infants in diapers are REQUIRED to wear “swim diapers” while in the pool at all times. Swim diapers may be purchased at the Aquatic Center entrance. 11. Assisted swimming devices are the ONLY floatation devices allowed in the pool. 12. You must be at least 42” to go down the slide. No sunglasses, goggles, swimming, tubes, or lifejackets may be worn while on the slide. SEE WATER SLIDE RULES. 13. You must be under the age of 10 or less than 48” tall to enter the Play Area. A Children MUST accompany adults who wish to enter this area. 14. Lap swimming is permitted during normal operating hours in the designated lanes. These Lines are for lap swimmers only; all other swimming in this area is strictly prohibited. 15. Per State Law, patrons with open or infectious sores will not be permitted in the pool. 16. No patrons are allowed in the first aid room unless they are being treated for an injury, providing information about a victim, or are the legal guardian of a victim. 17. The rope separating the deep end must be up during all regular swimming hours and must NOT be used as floatation support. All patrons are restricted from leaning or hanging on the sliding rope. 18. Adult swims will be conducted every day, at which time all children are NOT permitted in the pool. All children must stay clear of all pools, steps and ladders and stay behind the first seam in the sidewalk. 19. Saraland is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. 20. All Ceraland facilities are non-smoking facilities. WATER SLIDE RULES 1. All patrons that go down the slide MUST be at least 42” tall. 2. All lifeguards are to measure anyone they suspect is under the required height using the measuring bar at the top of the slide. 3. Guards do not dispatch the next person until the person has hit the water, recovered, and exited the catch pool area. 4. No sunglasses, goggles, swimming, tubes, or lifejackets may be worn while on the slide. 5. Parents or other patrons are NEVER allowed to catch their children at the end of the slide. 6. NO jumping off of the slide into the pool. 7. NO standing or walking on the slide. 8. NO headfirst entries – ALL patrons MUST go down the slide feet first. 9. All patrons going down the slide dumping into the catch pool area MUST exit the area IMMEDIATELY. Patrons must stay on the opposite side of the lane line to the catch pool area. 10. Patrons MAY NOT swim in the roped-off area where the slide enters the water. DIVING WELL RULES 1. Only forward dives are allowed off the diving board. 2. Absolutely NO inward dives. 3. Patrons are only allowed ONE BOUNCE when going off the diving board. 4. Patrons that attempt back/forward flips off the board are left to the Lifeguard’s discretion as to whether they can do it safely or not. 5. Only one person on the board at a time. The next patron must wait their turn down on the ground, NOT on the steps. 6. The previous diver MUST BE to the edge of the pool before another patron will be allowed to go off the diving board. 7. Neither patrons nor lifeguards are allowed to catch children off of the diving board. They MUST be able to swim on their own. 8. NO cartwheels, handstands, or other dangerous dives are allowed. 9. Small children are NOT permitted in the diving well area unless they are under the direct supervision of an adult. 10. NO swimming under the diving well rope to exit after a dive. 11. NO SWIMMING IS ALLOWED IN THE DIVING WELL. This area is for the diving board & rock wall use ONLY. AQUACLIMB RULES 1. Lifeguard must be on duty. 2. EXPERIENCED swimmers ONLY. 3. Only one climber at a time on the Aqua climb. 4. Only ONE swimmer at a time in the drop zone. 5. NO DIVING. FEET FIRST ENTRIES ONLY. 6. Exit the pool using the ladder on the same side of the pool. NO crossing in front of the diving board. 7. Flotation devices are NOT permitted. 8. Wait for your turn in a single file line behind the line MINIATURE GOLF RULES 1. Limit playing in groups up to four (4) people. 2. Ball hit off playing surface – 1 penalty stroke (replace the ball where it left the playing surface). 3. Six-stroke limit on all holes. 4. You may move the ball six inches from any rail or fixed obstacle without penalty – no closer to the hole. 5. Be considerate of others – no profanity. 6. Do not start on any hole until the group ahead finishes. 7. After reaching the green, player nearest the cup putts until the ball is in the cup. 8. Ball hit by another ball is replaced where it was hit – no penalty. 9. Do not swing putters. 10. Stay out of all water traps and features. 11. Any horseplay on the course may result in the termination of park privileges. 12. Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR PETS ON THE COURSE. 13. All other Park Rules apply and will be enforced. GO KART TRACK RULES 1. It is required that all go-karts and drivers must register at the CERA Sports & Fitness Center. 2. Each driver must sign a registration form. 3. Helmets are mandatory. 4. The fueling and repair of karts should be done in the marked pit area. 5. Go-karts are to be started only in the pit area. 6. Slick tires are the only form of tire allowed on the track. 7. Go-karts are to be driven counterclockwise on the track. 8. No racing will be permitted on the track at any time. 9. Any child under 18 years of age will not be allowed to drive on the track without parental supervision and the parent’s signature on the front of the permit. 10. All other Park Rules apply and will be enforced. ANY VIOLATION OF TRACK RULES MAY RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF THE PARK

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
