Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time is any time at or after 1:00 pm for RVs and 3:00 pm for cabins. - Check Out Time is a strict 11:00 am. - In the event you need an earlier check-in time, please contact our staff at 940-779-2020 or [email protected] to make arrangements. (Fee based on timeframe needed.) - In the event you need a later check-out time, please contact our staff at 940-779-2020 or [email protected] to make arrangements. (Fee based on timeframe needed.) Speed Limit - The speed limit is 10 MPH. - For the safety of all, please adhere to the speed limit. Boat Policy - Boats are not permitted to park in the RV Park. - Boat parking is at the Marina and requires a parking permit. - Please contact our staff at 940-779-2020 or [email protected] to inquire about how to obtain your parking permit. - Please DO NOT feed the wildlife. Quiet Hours - Quiet time hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Exterior/High profile lighting must be turned off by 10:00 pm. Equipment Policy - No clotheslines allowed. - All sites must be always kept neat and clean. (No debris, cigarette butts, etc. at any time.) - Charcoal grills are allowed on concrete only. - Dispose of cooled charcoal in designated containers. Fire Policy - No campfires permitted. - Absolutely no fireworks or discharging of firearms at any time. Trash Policy - Trash pick up at site by 10:00 AM or deposit trash in dumpsters. Additional Fees - All trailers (boat, box vans, utility, car haulers, etc) must be parked in overflow/trailer parking. - No trailers will be allowed on any RV sites. - All trailers will be assigned a numbered spot. - Additional vehicle for registered guests is $5.00 per day. - Non-registered guest parking is $10.00 per day. - Five people are allowed per site. - Additional people over the five-person allotment is an additional $5.00 per day. Pets Policy - Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome but must be always kept on a leash. - You are required to clean up after your pet and they are not allowed to be walked in other campers’ sites. - Pets are not allowed in ANY building or in the Welcome Center, with the exception of service animals. - No pets are permitted in cabins. - Pets must be supervised and are not allowed to be restrained on any utility, fixtures, fence, tables, chairs, etc. - No washing of pet bedding in the resort laundry facility. - No aggressive animals allowed – NO EXCEPTIONS! - After a second warning for any rule violation, a $50.00 fine will be assessed and/or immediate removal from the resort at the discretion of the staff. Parking Policy - No parking on streets within the resort (it is a fire lane). - No parking on the grass at any time. - No parking in vacant sites at any time. - All vehicles must display a valid campground parking permit. - A vehicle without a proper parking permit is subject to being towed. - Visitors must register at the welcome center office to get a parking permit, upon arrival. Swimming Pool Policy - NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY–SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK! - Swimsuits only in the pool, no street clothes allowed. The pool is for resort guests ONLY. - No running, diving, or horseplay allowed. - No pets are allowed in the pool area. - No glass containers of any kind in the pool area. Vehicle Policy - Bicycles, golf carts, and side-by-side vehicles are permitted within the Resort, however, these types of vehicles are not permitted on public roads, and therefore should not be brought if they are intended as a form of travel. - 1 vehicle per campsite. - Additional vehicles will need to park in the overflow parking. - Camper wheels must remain on cement. - All RVs must be road-worthy, and self-contained. - Camping style furniture only (NO household furniture). - No washing of vehicles or mechanical maintenance work without management consent. - Motor vehicles, motorcycles, and golf carts may only be operated by a licensed driver. Smoking Policy - No smoking is allowed in the facility. Nature Policy - We all absolutely love the wildlife that we share this beautiful lake with. - With that, please be respectful and PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE DEER, DUCKS, OR GEESE! Park Disclaimer - Please do not remove any resort property from the building at any time. - Business hours are Thursday to Saturday 9 am to 7 pm. Monday to Wednesday 9 am to 5 pm. Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. - Any inappropriate treatment of resort property will result in immediate removal from the resort. - All guests are invited to use the showers and/or laundry facilities located in the Welcome Center. - Review all Resort Rules and Policies upon arrival. - You are expected to adhere to them. - In the event you do not adhere to the Resort Rules and Policies, you will be escorted off the property and no refund will be given. he resorts or resort personnel is not responsible for any loss, damages, or claims to property of resort guests due to theft, fire, natural cause, or any other cause. - We do not assume responsibility for any act of nature (wind, rain, lightning, flood, etc.).

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
