Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure for Campsites: - Check-in for campsites is generally from 2-7PM in summer and 2-5PM in winter. Please call to confirm times for your specific arrival day. - Check-out is at 12 Noon - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Check-In Procedure for Cabins: - Check-in begins at 3PM (There is no end time) - If you will be arriving after 5PM, let us know and we will set up a self=check-in for you. Noise and Occupancy - Please understand that we are NOT a party campground, nor do we cater to large-group camping. - We have occupancy maximums in our tent sites and expect our guests to adhere to them. - After 10 pm, "What (noise) happens in your campsite, stays in your campsite" - We don't expect guests to go to bed at 10 pm, but please turn off radios and be mindful of how your sound might travel through the campground. - Note that if you stay in the Techno Sites, there may be ambient noise from air conditioners, fans, and other reasonable electrical appliances. - We do NOT allow generators. - If all guests are respectful of these rules, everyone can enjoy the natural experience of our forest. Speed Policy - The speed limit is "Dead Slow". There are children, pets, and wildlife in the area. Quiet Hour - Outdoor quiet time is 10 pm to 8 am. Excessively loud behavior is unacceptable at any hour. Camp Ground Park Facilities Policy - Playground, badminton, and horseshoes are open from 9 am to 8 pm. - Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent. Children Policy - Parents are responsible for their children and/or pets. - Do not leave them unattended and please do not let their volume disturb other guests. Trees Policy - No cutting or damaging trees. - Do not collect any plant life or harm any wildlife. Bathhouse - No bikes are allowed in the bathhouse. - No pets in the bathhouse. - No smoking in the bathhouse. - Do not drive to the bathhouse. - Bathhouse parking is reserved for Stellar Site campers. Smoke Policy - Please be careful of cigarette butts-dispose of them in your fire pit. - Due to forest fire danger, smoking is not permitted on the trails. Fire Policy - Do not leave campfires unattended even for a few minutes. - Completely extinguish fires before leaving or checking out. - We provide a water bucket which you must keep filled and by the fire at all times. Wood Policy - If your wood is too long to fit completely within the firepit, - Do Not Use the Wood. Trash Policy - Dispose of food in the trash cans provided. - Do not throw any food or litter into the woods--it attracts unwelcome critters. - Do not place bottles or cans in the fire pit. Fire Pit Policy - Do not move the fire pit. Guests Policy - Guests Not Adhering to the Above Rules May Be Asked to Leave Ash Grove Immediately, with No Refund for Unused Nights. Reservation Policy - Date changes are approved at our discretion and render all payments non-refundable. - Failure to show or early departures due to weather, fire bans, etc, will receive no refund. - Reservations made more than one month in advance, will be charged the remaining balance to the credit/debit card on file 1 month before your arrival date. - If you have made your reservation online within a month of your arrival date, our reservation system will charge you a 50% deposit and we will charge the remainder of the balance to your credit card as soon as we receive the reservation. (Usually the same day.) Payments and Deposit Policy - All deposits and payments made for Major Holidays are non-refundable and all balances must be paid in full one month in advance of your stay. - All general reservations will be charged a deposit of 50% via credit/debit card at the time of booking. - Any outstanding balances for reservations will be charged to the credit card on file 1 week before your arrival day. Pet Policy - Two pets are allowed in the campsites (occasional exceptions may be made check with us). - Pets must be current on their vaccinations and on a flea control program. - Pets must be on a leash or chain when outside the tent or RV. - Pets must not be a nuisance to other guests (e.g., barking). - Pets should not be left unattended for long periods. - Clean up after your pet. Visitors - Our facilities are for our registered guests only, unless prior arrangements have been made. - There may be an additional charge for visitors during peak times. - Guests are responsible for their visitors' behavior. - No overnight visitors. Visitors must leave by 9:00 pm. Parking - On our mountaintop, flat areas for parking are extremely limited. - Stellar 1-tent sites are allowed 1 vehicle per site; 2-tent sites, Techno tent sites, and RV sites are allowed 2 vehicles per site. - Parking for extra vehicles is subject to availability and may be assessed an extra fee during peak times. Amenities - Amenities offered are subject to change. - While we try our best to keep amenities in good repair, circumstances beyond our control sometimes prevent them from being available. - There is no refund or rate reduction in such circumstances. Damages - We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act of the guest, to Ash Grove's property or structures. - Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. - We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
