Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
REGISTRATION AND ARRIVAL CHECK-IN PROCEDURE - Check-In: 12:00 PM (noon) - Check-Out: 11:00 AM (Any late check-outs must be approved by management and could incur a fee.) - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. QUIET HOURS - From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM; children must return to their own site by 10:00 PM. TRASH POLICY - Must be curbside at your site by 11:00 am. Trash may be taken to dumpster containers located at the front entrance of the park. DO NOT leave trash out overnight. If management must clean your site, there will be an extra charge. FIRE POLICY - NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD PERMITTED IN THE CAMPGROUND. - Tennessee law has restrictions due to the Emerald Ash Borer and Thousand Cankers Disease. - Firewood is available for purchase at the office and will be delivered to your site. - Please do not stack firewood on grass and do not cut down trees. - Campfires are allowed in designated fire pits and must be attended to at all times. - Absolutely no burning of garbage, paper, cans, glass, etc. in your fire pit. Fires are to be put out at night. PET POLICY Mammoth Ridge RV Park and Campground is a pet-friendly park. - Maximum of two pets per RV Site. - Other than service animals, pets are not allowed in the front office, laundry, shower house, or beach area. There is a designated Dog Park dedicated to our own beloved French Bulldog, Dax, for your pets to get their exercise and a designated area for the lake. - All dogs must be on a maximum 6’ leash length when outside at all times. - Need to be current on all vaccines. - Proof of vaccinations upon registration is required. - May not be left outside when owners are away from the site or campground, nor may they be left alone inside the camping unit to continually bark. - Excessive barking, growling, or any aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. - If your pet is not under control, you may be asked to leave the campground without a refund. - Clean up after your pet and properly dispose of pet waste/litter in proper receptacles. - No pet cages or fences are allowed. - Breed / Species restrictions do apply. SPEED LIMIT - 5 MILES PER HOUR FOR ALL VEHICLES THROUGHOUT THE PARK OTHER RULES HOLIDAY AND SPECIAL EVENTS - May have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. - Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. OCCUPANCY - Maximum of 6 people allowed (Including registered guests and visitors) per site at any one point and time. VISITORS - All visitors must register at the front desk during office hours to enter the park, obtain a car permit and pay the appropriate visitor fees. Cars parked without a valid permit are subject to towing at any time at your cost. - Permit must be visible on the dash at all times. - All-day visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. - Visitors may be restricted during periods of high occupancy. - Registered campers are responsible for their visitors and will be held financially responsible for any damage to our property. - Please make sure that your guests are aware of the campground rules. - Those who do not comply will be considered trespassing. - Visitors may not bring golf carts, kayaks, canoes, or any boats on the property for use. - Visitors must park in designated parking areas. SEWER CONNECTIONS - Use of rubber donut or watertight collar on all sewer connections is required. - Any sewage leakage and clean-up is your responsibility and could be charged by management. WATER HYDRANTS - Our water hydrants are frostproof, however, water must be turned off with hoses disconnected from the hydrant and camping unit when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. - Guests are responsible for any damage or failure to comply. LAUNDRY FACILITIES - Hours as posted - Do not leave clothes unattended. BICYCLES - Bikes are allowed in the park during daytime hours, please educate your children on the basics of riding in traffic, stopping at stop signs, not passing cars, not riding through sites, etc. - Tennessee law requires all children less than 17 years to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle, which includes roller blades, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters, etc. - Management reserves the right to speak to a child and take away riding privileges if deemed appropriate. ALCOHOL - Absolutely no public display. Please keep it in a koozie or cup. GOLF CARTS (Electric Carts Only) - All golf carts must be registered at the front office upon check-in and purchase a permit fee. - Personal carts must have proof of proper liability insurance and must show a minimum of $50,000.00 coverage in Personal Injury and Property Damage held on the golf cart. - No one under the age of 16 is permitted to drive any cart without a parent/guardian on board. - No parking on grass GOLF TEE ISLAND - Campground holds a daily golf swing competition at a designated time each day - All registered guests are eligible to enter - Enter at Front Desk to participate. - There is a designated area to swing at the Golf Tee. For the safety of others, do not attempt to swing at the tee if people are within 30 yards of the island. SWIMMING & FISHING and WATER-RELATED ACTIVITIES - NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, swim at your risk. - Children under the age of 16 must have an adult present. - All persons (including visitors) registered to the site agree legally to release Mammoth Ridge RV Park and Campground and its agents, employees, and representatives from any and all injuries or damages incurred arising out of the use of swimming in the lake, the use of the inflatable units. - Life Jackets are strongly recommended for all ages when swimming in the lake. Life Jackets are available to rent at the front office. - Hours of the lake swimming are sunrise to sunset. (Daylight hours only) - Swim diapers are required for toddlers. - No glass bottles, smoking, vaping, or pets allowed on the beach area. - Catch and release fishing only in the lake. - No gas or electric motors, trout lines, cast nests or unattended lines permitted. - Additional rules are posted outside on the beach area and fishing pier. - Campground holds a monthly fishing derby, all registered guests are eligible to enter, and enter at the front office to participate. - Fishing equipment is available to purchase and rent at the front office. MAIL & SHIPPING SERVICES - Drop off any outgoing mail at the front office. - Shipping to the campground is allowed but we are not responsible for any packages that are dropped off after hours or misplaced or lost. - Need to have the name on the booked reservation on the package. DRONES - Drones are not permitted anywhere on the property for the consideration and safety of other guests. PROHIBITED - Generators, tents, any type of camper without any hookups, tarps, overnight use of any kind of outside lighting that interferes with other campers, fireworks, firearms, disorderly and inconsiderate behavior, walking through other sites, oil changes and lubes, clotheslines, grills on picnic tables, any permanent connections, foundations, porches, storage buildings, boat, and utility trailers or similar type structures. - No digging, do not put nails in trees. No liquid waste of any kind may be dumped on the ground or in the dumpster. - All campers and vehicles must be clean and in good condition and be factory manufactured or, you will be asked to leave with no refund. CAMPING SITE - Includes one RV camping unit and one additional vehicle, (car or truck); 6 people. - Vehicles that do not fit completely on your site must be parked in the visitor parking area (additional charge). - DO NOT PARK on grass, another site, or on the road. A $10 fine per day per vehicle will be applied after the first warning. - Camping Tents are not allowed on site. - Tailgating tents are allowed to use for shade, do not put stakes in the ground, and must be taken down at night. - Included in your camping site is a picnic table and fire pit. - NO grills on picnic tables. - Fire pits are not to be moved. - Put out all fires at night. - Breathable mats are allowed on site, but not on grass. - Wash permits can be purchased from the front desk. - Wash permits are $25 for RVs and $10 for vehicles. - TV Cable and Wi-Fi are included at your site, extensive streaming can result in extra charges. VIDEO / CAMERA SURVEILLANCE - Property and buildings do have camera surveillance. - Customer grants Mammoth Ridge RV Park and Campground, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. - Customer authorizes Mammoth Ridge RV Park and Campground may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web Site content.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
