Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Policy: - Check-in time between 3 PM to 6 PM - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. General Policy: - Be mindful of others. - Quiet hours are 8 pm – 8 am. - The Resort is intended for recreational vehicles or travel trailers to stop overnight or for a limited stay, less than 180 days. This is not to be construed as a permanent residence. - Management has the right of refusal for stay and extensions of stay. - Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. - For life-threatening emergencies promptly call 911. Speed Limit Policy: - For the safety of all Resort visitors the speed limit throughout the Resort is five (5) miles per hour. Security Policy: - Be advised security cameras on the property exist for the safety of our guests. Alcohol Policy: - No alcohol except at your designated site. Prohibited Items: - Absolutely no fireworks or firearms. Vehicles: - An RV must be in a well-maintained overall condition. Management has the right to turn away an RV. - Vehicles are limited to one (1) RV and one (1) vehicle. If additional accommodations are needed, please see management for approval. - All vehicles including automobiles must be registered. No inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are permitted in the Resort. Parking Policy: - Do not park on site unless you have paid or made arrangements. - Parking anywhere but your designated site is not allowed. Fittings Policy: - All water, plumbing, and electrical fittings must be non-leaking and weather tight. If Sewage is found leaking there will be a fine assessed Site Care: - We strive to provide a clean and well-kept place for all our guests. To do this, we ask that you only have furniture and other items intended for outside use visible at your site. - If storage of items is needed, we ask that it be done in an orderly manner inside appealing/well-kept storage bins under your RV or vehicles. - There may be fines and expulsion for non-compliance to policy. - No permanent structures of any kind may be erected on Resort sites. Child Policy: - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult - Children aged 3 and under stay free Pets Policy: - Maximum of 2 pets is allowed. - Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times except at Dog Park. - They may not be left unattended throughout the Resort. - Guests are required to immediately clean up and dispose of all pet droppings. If not disposed of immediately, fines may occur. - No aggressive dogs are allowed. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior, management will ask you to find other accommodation and you will be liable for any damage or harm caused by your pet to the Resort and others. - Pets are not allowed in any Painted Hills RV Resort buildings, bathrooms or play areas. - Pets must not be left outside unattended. Others: - Guest agrees to electronic communication via text or email, or both. Current guest contact information is the responsibility of the tenant to update with management. - Be advised that non-payment of rent may result in liens on personal property to satisfy accrued fines. Guests consent to the policy by being a resident. If the lien amount exceeds or approaches the value of the vehicle, the park reserves the right to tow it to an impound lot until fees are paid. - All fees related to this are chargeable to the guest. During Winter Months/Cold Season: - Skirting is permitted around the RV to increase warmth and insulation to the unit but must be manufactured skirting and well present. - All hoses must be winterized with heat tape. An insulated bib will be provided for the water spout. If stolen, a fine will be assessed. Fines: - Unleashed dog or clean-up $25 1st/ $50 2nd / eviction thereafter - Vehicle/RV Related $50/Daily - Non-winterization of hoses/connections $50/Daily - Theft of insulated hose bib $65 - Broken sewer cap $25 - Leaky hoses/connections or sewage found on-site $25/Daily - Trash on-site $25/Daily - Oil Spills (cost to clean plus management fee) - Eviction $1,000 plus fees - Sabotage or dereliction of property (cost of repair plus manager fee) - Re-invoicing of rent $25 each time - All fees and fines are at the discretion of management. - Guest agrees to electronic notification of all fees and fines. - Guests are required to supply management with current contact information. - Management may post communication of fees and fines due on guest vehicles or trailers as needed and also communicate via text or email, and/or both to secure the fines due. - Accrued fees and fines may result in liens on personal property. - If policies are violated management reserves the right to refuse service, and/or evict any person or party without refund. - Management reserves all rights to repost revised notices at will. Effective immediately and until further notice.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
