Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - Check in with Camp Host before going to the site. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - If checking in late, please call Camp Host (319.419.8125) - Check-In: 3pm - Flexible - Check-Out: 2 pm Camper Registration onSite - Campers should display a white camping receipt on the site as soon as possible after arrival Beverage Containers: There is a container at the Park entrance for donations of cans and bottles. Proceeds will be used to support park projects. Boats: must be paddled or electrically propelled. No gas motors are allowed in the ponds. All boat passengers must wear life jackets. Launch boat at the designated area. Coolers: Please secure all coolers and belongings before retiring for the night. Dump Station: - The dump station is located just west of the Park. - From the entrance drive, process west and north approximately 3 blocks, to Ash and Pfaltzgraff Streets. - To exit - drive west to Oak Street and turn left to Highway 3 (signs are posted). Electric Hook-ups: Please do not coil electric cords around a post, as this will cause breakers to blow. Please turn off the breaker when unplugging electric cords. Library Kiosk: has books available for check-out. Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found box located by the camp host. Some items may be claimed at Allison City Hall located at 410 North Main Street ( 319-267-2245). Sports Equipment: Soccer balls, frisbees, basketballs, bean bag toss, horseshoes, pickleball equipment, and golf balls are available from the Camp Host. Storm Shelters: - The storm shelters will provide protection in extreme weather. - They are located NW of the shower house. - They are dark and cool, so we suggest taking a flashlight, jacket, and weather radio. - Sirens from Allison can be heard at the park if you are outside of your RV. Surveillance camera: - Electric surveillance cameras monitor certain areas of the park. Golf cart ATV/UTV - Use inside the park is restricted to streets only. - Motor vehicles are NOT allowed on the trails, woods, or grassy areas. - Driver must possess a valid driver's license. - All other state laws apply to motorized vehicle operations. (IA Code 321.247) - Violators will be reported to local authorities. Vehicle Parking - All vehicles should be parked at least 5 feet off the road in campsite areas to allow large vehicles to pass. - One vehicle per campsite. Visitor: to camping sites must be out of the campground by 11 pm. Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer for a project at the park, please speak with the camp host or a park board member to see what projects are available. Wireless Internet: is available at the park. Quiet hours are 10:30 PM to 7:00 am daily. Pets - Pets must be on a leash not to exceed 6 feet in length. - Pet owners are responsible for pick-up all dog droppings. Fireworks - City statutes prohibit all fireworks at Wilder Park. Fire rings - Please do not put cans, bottles, garbage, dog feces, or other non-flammable materials in the fire rings!!!! - Never leave a fire unattended

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
