Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-In: 3 pm - Flexible. - Check-Out: 11 am - All visitors must stop and register at the Park Office. - Please arrive at your assigned site found on your reservation confirmation email. - If you have any questions, please call us at our main office. - Thank you, and we hope you enjoy your stay! - It is your responsibility to make sure that all your visitors register at the office prior to entering the park. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Speed Limit - The speed limit is 10 mph for your safety and the safety of our guests, children, and pets. Trash Policy - Sites must always be clean and picked up. - Any refuse or garbage is to be placed in the dumpster provided located by Cahill. - No burning of trash is permitted. - Trash should be placed in the dumpster before leaving. Pet Policy - Pets that are good campers are welcome at Fishing Tales RV Park. - Pets must always be on the lead and under your control. - Pets may NOT be left unsupervised. - Pet waste is your responsibility. - If you need doggie bags, we are happy to provide you with some. - Any pet that behaves in an aggressive manner toward another pet or human must be removed from the park immediately. - Please drop off current immunization records for your pet to add to your contact information in the Tackle Store. Firearms Safety - Firearms, BB guns, paintball guns, bows and arrows, slingshots, or any device that uses burning powder or is an explosive is prohibited. - Fireworks are NOT Permitted. Inappropriate Behavior - Fighting or threatening behavior is not allowed. - This includes any activity that violates county or state codes. Quiet Hours - Quiet Time is from 10 PM to 8 AM. - However, we are geared towards a relaxing environment 24/7. - Please be courteous always to your fellow campers. - Amplified music is not permitted. - The volume of sound should not interfere with others' rights to quiet enjoyment of the park. - Music is not permitted during quiet hours. Campers under 21 - Any campers under 21 years old must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or grandparent. - You are responsible for the safety and actions of your children. Swimming Policy - Swimming in the pool is at your own risk. Children under 14 must always have adult supervision. - Pets are not allowed in the pool area. Please observe all posted rules. - NO SMOKING and NO GLASS in the pool area. - No Exceptions! RV Policy - There is a fee for visitors who stay in your trailer or RV when you are not with them. - Any person using your trailer in your absence must have prior approval by the management. - Subletting your site or equipment is not permitted. - Anyone permitting another person, who is not on the contact information sheet, to use their lot or mobile home for money will forfeit their camping privilege and must remove all equipment and belongings from the site immediately. - Lot rents for the 2023 season. - RV's 100 rows through 900 rows $185 a month plus electric RV's 1000 row $210 a month plus electric Singlewide Mobile Homes $220 a month Doublewide Mobile Homes $270 a month There will be a $25 late fee on any payment that is received after the 15th of the month unless you are on auto bank draft. Occupancy Limit - Individual campsites support up to 6 people. - If you expect more, please contact the office. ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY KIND ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK - Your deposit and/or payment for remaining camping nights can be forfeited if evidence of such contraband is found. - Do not deface or remove signs, structures, or barriers. - Do not remove or injure any plants, trees, flowers, or rocks found on park property. - Campers will occupy and place equipment only on the assigned campsite. - Campers are responsible for any and all damages that occur during their stay at Fishing Tales Park. - You are not permitted to sell, solicit, peddle, rent any goods/wares, or collect any money within the park unless you obtain prior written permission from the Park Manager. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS FOR LOT RENT PAYMENTS - Credit And Debit Card Payments Will have a Fee Automatically added upon payment. - We accept cash, check, or money orders No Processing FEE. All Rent is due monthly unless prior arrangements have been made. - All rent must be current before the removal of your property to another location. CAMPING STAY REQUIREMENT - Must have a permanent home address. No one may live in a camper. FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OR ALL OF THE RULES LISTED - FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OR ALL OF THE RULES LISTED will result in partial or no refund. - If there is physical damage to the cabins or grounds or evidence of contraband material is found, your deposit may be forfeited and will, at the very least, be retained until the cost of repair, cleanup, and/or replacement exceeds the deposit. - Any additional sum shall be immediately due and payable to the Park. - YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK IMMEDIATELY. - The campground cannot be responsible for injury or damage due to wind, water, fire, animals, or the negligence of you or others. - These rules were made for your safety to ensure the enjoyment of your camping experience. Emergency - For after-hours camping, please call the number posted on the door. - This is for your safety and the protection of your property. - Any person not on your emergency contact sheet is a visitor. How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
