Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - Check-In: 3 pm - Check-Out: 12 noon - Please come to the office or use the overnight Dropbox for after-hours. - You will need to sign off on rules and regulations before proceeding to your site. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Campers Policy - Please help keep River Rat Resort beautiful. - CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! - If guests are to stay overnight there is an additional charge. - A guest is considered an overnight visitor after 10:00 P.M. - Loud parties, excessive drinking, offensive language, or other unacceptable behavior by guests are not permitted. - Illegal activities of any sort are strictly prohibited. - Damage caused by you, your family, or guests is YOUR responsibility. - No discharging of firearms. - You may not assign or sublet your site, even if you sell your RV. - The Park must approve all new guests. - Your site must be kept neat and clean. - No clutter, litter, trash, refrigerators, freezers, indoor furniture, weight sets, etc. are allowed outside your unit. - Do not let items accumulate under or around your unit. - Consult management for questionable items. - Please respect your neighbors. Use roads, and do not walk or drive through any site whether vacant or occupied. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. - If we have to call the authorities for a disturbance at your site, you may be required to leave. Children Policy - Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. - You are responsible for the conduct of your children; they must be supervised by an adult at all times Campfire Policy - Campfires are only allowed within park-provided fire pits in designated areas only. - Fires must be attended by an adult at all times. Burn wood products only; do not throw trash in the fire pits. BBQ Grill Policy - BBQ grills are permissible. - Please do not place BBQ grills on the picnic tables. Restroom and Laundry Policy - Restrooms, showers, and the laundromat are accessible 24 hours a day; please help keep them neat and clean. - Report any issues to management immediately. Smoking Policy - Smoking is not allowed in any park buildings. - Violators will be charged a $125.00 cleaning and deodorizing fee. Trees Policy - Please don’t cut any trees, shrubs, or plants without management approval. Vehicle Policy - ATVs are not allowed. - Golf carts are permissible with a park-provided permit. - No major vehicle repairs shall be made on these premises. - Service work such as changing oil, lubing, etc. is strictly prohibited. - Boat and vehicle washing must be done off-site. - Boat motor flushing must also be done off-site. - Utility trailers are not allowed on the site. - Separate storage may be available for a fee. - Standard RV sites are designed for your RV and (1) one other motor vehicle. - Most Premium-Oversized sites are designed for your RV and (2) two other motor vehicles. - Additional vehicles must be approved by management. - Additional fees will apply. Speed Limit - The Park speed limit is 10 MPH. Parking Policy - You may park in designated areas only. - Please consult management for temporary overflow parking. - No junked, unusable, or unsightly vehicles will be allowed in the Park. - Parking on community roadways is not allowed. Pets Policy - No aggressive breeds allowed. - No exceptions. - No pets over 40 lbs. - All pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. - Pets must be accompanied by an adult and kept under control at all times. - Pets are not allowed to be left outside unattended. - Pets are not permitted in any buildings. - Shot records must be present. - Please pick up all pet droppings immediately and dispose of them in provided dumpsters. RV Units Policy - RV units more than (10) ten years old are subject to inspection and must be approved by management. - All units must be factory manufactured. (No school bus conversions, etc.) - Camper shells may not be removed from trucks. Sewer Policy - A sewer hose “donut” or “L” connector is required. Trash Policy - Dispose of your trash daily in the park-provided dumpsters. - Do not leave trash outside your unit overnight. - All garbage must be placed in plastic bags and tied. Boxes must be flattened. Clotheslines Policy - Clotheslines are not permitted. Site Policy - No portable buildings, sheds, etc. are allowed. - Please make the proper measures to ensure water hydrates do not freeze during winter months by insulating them. - Site lines are generally from electric meter to electric meter. - Please do not encroach on your neighbor’s site. - Do not use a vacant site for any reason without consulting management. Grass Policy - Rugs and carpets are not allowed on the grass. Generators Policy - Generators are only allowed in the event of a power outage.

RoverPass Cancellation Policy - The platform and processing fees are non-refundable. - Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
