Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - Check-In: 11 AM for RV and Tent sites, 4 PM for Accommodations. - Check-Out: 11 AM - Please note: Camp HiYo! is a gated campground. - All check-ins must arrive by 8 PM. - Due to liability, we cannot park guests arriving after 8 PM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Arrival - Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome booklet outlining all of the resort policies. - Please be familiar with these once here and reach out to our team with any questions. - Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of the aforementioned Rules and Regulations. Early Departures - We do not provide refunds or credits for early departures. Age Requirement Policy - Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a site or accommodation. Rates and Payments Policy - Rates are subject to change without notice. - Full payment is required at the time of booking and is payable by credit card. - By providing a credit card number, you are giving authorization for us to bill your credit card for the full amount, including any costs accrued while at the property, and outstanding balances not paid at the time of departure. - Monthly stays require a deposit of $500 due at booking with the balance paid upon arrival. Pet Policy - Camp HiYo requires verification of your pet's Rabies Vaccination for all monthly stays. - Non-aggressive pets are welcome in the campground and must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival. - Pets must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times and under the control of their owner. - Pets may not be left outside unattended. - Guests are responsible for “cleaning up” after their pets. - All pet dropping must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle or collection area. - Guests should carry proof of their pet’s current vaccinations. - Pets are prohibited in park buildings, including restrooms and playgrounds. - Noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. - Guests who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the premises, or the animal may be taken by local animal control authorities. - The park is not responsible for and will hold accountable the pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). - In addition, the owner of the pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party. - Pets are allowed in specific cabin rentals. - Pets in cabin rentals must be declared at the time of reservation. - A pet fee of $30.00 per pet / per stay for up to 2 pets will be added to any cabin rental with pets occupying the unit. - All well-behaved pets are welcome at the campground. - Pets must be leashed at all times. - Pet kennels, pens, fencing, corrals, crates, etc. are not permitted. - Please do not leave a pet tied or unattended outside. - Please clean up after your pets at all times. - Pet waste bags are available for purchase in the store. - Pets are not permitted in the pool area. Damages Policy - If there is damage, missing or stolen items, or excessive cleaning required, the card on file will be charged accordingly. RV Sites/RV Regulations - RV’s must be 15 years or newer, in excellent condition, and RVIA certified. - Each RV is subject to management approval. - Please contact the resort directly if you have any questions. - No more than one RV is allowed per site. - Rates include four (4) people, each additional person over the age of six (6) is $5 per person per night. - Maximum of six (6) people per RV site. - Rates include two (2) vehicles. - Additional vehicle parking may be available, please inquire with the resort. - Monthly rates do not include electric usage which is billed back at the completion of each month at the prevailing electric rate per kWh. Speed Limit - The speed limit within the park is 5 mph. - For the safety of all and to keep dust at a minimum this rule is strictly enforced. Vehicle Policy - One habitable and one non-habitable vehicle are allowed per site and must be parked completely on the site. - Please do not park on the grass or along the roadways. - Extra vehicles may be allowed on a space available basis at an additional fee of $5.00 per vehicle per night. - All vehicles must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival. - Working on vehicles is prohibited. - Vehicle washing is not allowed. - Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver’s license. Sites Assignment Policy - Sites: 1 RV or tent per site. - Sites are assigned by park staff. - Please do not change sites without approval from the Front Desk staff. - Site-specific reservation requests may be available for an additional fee. Security - Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. - Keep your valuables and bikes locked up. Late Check-out Policy - Late check-out may be available on a space-available basis and must be pre-arranged at a cost of $10.00 per hour. - Guests who remain after 4:00 p.m. will be charged an additional night’s stay. Occupancy Policy - Base rate includes 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). - Additional occupants and day-use visitors are $5.00 per person, per night. - Maximum 6 guests per RV site. - Children under 6 years of age are not subject to additional occupant fees but are included in the maximum guest per site count. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are 11 pm to 8 am. Conduct and Behavior Policy - Please keep your campsite tidy and litter-free. - Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior and compliance with park rules. - Please be courteous to other guests around you and do not walk through other campsites. - Loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. - Profanity, violence, or inconsiderate towards other guests and/or park personnel will not be tolerated. Site Amenities Policy - Please report any issues with your site to the Front Desk. - Sewer: All sewer connections must have an airtight seal as required by State & Federal law. - Electric: Plug your RV power cord in firmly with no space between the plug and the chosen receptacle. - Turn on the appropriate power breaker after the plug has been inserted. - When departing, turn the power breaker off before disconnecting your plug from the receptacle. - Water: We recommend the use of a water pressure regulator. - There is no water at the sites from mid-October to mid-April. - Refuse: Please bring all trash to the dumpsters located at the entry/exit road and make sure no additional debris is left in the fire pit. - Please do not leave refuse out overnight or in an open container to avoid wildlife interaction. - Fire Pits: Never leave a campfire unattended and fully extinguish campfires when you are done enjoying them. - Please do not move the fire rings. - If you move a picnic table, please return it to its original location. - Please do not use portable grills on the picnic table without protecting the table from heat and food splatter. - Flags: Current nations, states, provenances, sports teams, military, and college affiliations are permitted. - No other flags are permitted including political parties, confederate flags, or flags containing profanity. Nature Policy - Please do not cut, trim, or otherwise disturb the natural vegetation in and around the park. Firearms and Fireworks Policy - Firearms and fireworks are prohibited. Firewood Policy - Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the campground from outside areas, however, you can purchase firewood at the Camp Store. Rec Center & Laundry Hours - Open 24/7 Pool Hours - Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Friday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Campground Disclaimer - By placing a reservation, you agree to read and abide by all resort policies as they are presented herein and upon arrival to the resort. - There is a $5.00 non-refundable online booking fee per reservation.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
