To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure Arrival Times - Check-in and check-out will take place at your reserved unit or location. - Check-in time begins at 2 pm. - Check-out time is 11 am and we respectfully ask for your cooperation with this guideline. - Please advise our staff if you will be checking out earlier. - Tenants may be charged an additional night's rent without staying for late checkout. - Upon departure, campsite guests are required to take trash to the provided dumpster, located at the resort entrance. - Charges may apply for non-compliance. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Disclaimer - Before making a reservation, please review the following Terms and Conditions and Lodging Policies for Columbia Gorge Getaways, LLC. - Any monies received by Columbia Gorge Getaways, LLC for occupancy of a yurt, tent, campground space, or any other use of the property indicate the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the Lodging Policies and rental lease agreement. - These Lodging Policies were created to meet the needs of both vacationing guests and Columbia Gorge Getaways’ owners. - Thank you for taking the time to read, respect, and understand our Terms and Conditions. - We take great pride in offering a truly unique experience in one of our luxurious yurts or safari tents, or at your own campground space amongst the beautifully landscaped forest property. - Columbia Gorge Getaways is family-owned and privately operated and offers a unique and special place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature and wildlife amidst the surrounding forest and scenic Columbia River Gorge. - We are a self-regulated and self-check-in facility. - We do not have an official office, office manager, or office hours. - The owners reside on the property and are available to help when needed. - As a guest of Columbia Gorge Getaways, LLC, you agree to the following policies: Deposits & Payments - Initial Deposit: At the time of booking, 50% of the reservation balance will be collected. - Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. - Scheduled Deposit: 14 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. - If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), 100% of the remaining balance will be collected. Liability - Your reservation is your agreement that Columbia Gorge Getaways and its Affiliates are free and harmless from any liability for any claims, loss, damage, or expenses arising by reason of any injury, death, or property damage sustained by any person including yourself, your family, friends, or pets where such injury, death, or property damage is caused by negligent or an intentional act. - Refer to the Terms and Conditions document found on our Columbia Gorge Getaways website for more information. Age Requirement - The minimum age to rent a yurt or safari tent is 25 years of age. - All those under the age of 23 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or adult over the age of 25 years old. - The minimum age to rent a campground space is 18 years of age. - All those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or adult over the age of 18 years old. - Valid ID may be required upon check-in for all reservations. Reservation and Payments - Credit card payment for 50% of the reservation is due at the time of booking. - Full, non-refundable payment is due 14 days prior to the arrival date. Tax - Tax charges for hotels, vacation rentals, and RV parks, including luxury yurts, safari tents, and campground spaces, are 9.7% in Skamania Count and will be charged to the reservation. Cleaning Fee - A cleaning fee is built into the nightly rate for each reservation. - Fees vary per unit. - An additional fee will be charged if extra cleaning is necessary. Trip Insurance - Trip Protection Insurance is available from ResNexus via the Columbia Gorge Getaways reservation platform. -This protects against various forms of trip interruption and cancellation, documentation may be required. - Acceptance of this insurance must occur at the time of booking and before the final payment is paid. Occupancy - The property shall not be used at any time by more than the number of adults and children as per your reservation. - Unregistered, unauthorized guests may be charged more than the standard fee. - The Skamania County Fire Code has set occupancy limits for all units. - Each property has a posted limit and cannot be exceeded for any reason. - Renters in violation of this code may be evicted and will forfeit the entire rental amount paid. Pets (excluding campsites) - Dogs only. - In order to bring a pet, a Pet-Friendly unit must be reserved and specifically noted in the reservation. - The standard fee is $25 per pet, plus any extra costs arising from damage or cleaning that must be done due to the pet(s). - Properties that are not classified as Pet Friendly may charge more than the standard fee for unregistered or unauthorized pets up to $350. - Pets should not be left unattended in any unit. - Pet(s) must never be left within units unattended, must be always kept on leashes while on the property, and please remember to pick up after them. Nightly Minimums - Depending on the unit, season, peak times, and/or holiday periods, nightly minimums do apply. Campsite Parking - Two cars per unit (yurt or safari tent) and one car per campground space are allowed. - Additional cars must use the overflow parking area found in numerous locations throughout the property. - Columbia Gorge Getaways is not able to accommodate trailers of any length, RVs, or Motor Homes. - Maximum vehicle length is 22ft, while maximum vehicle height is 13’ 6”. - Vehicles must be parked in a designated parking space. - Do not park in fire lanes or other non-designated spaces. Unit Condition - The resort does its best to ensure that each unit is fully functional for its guests. - If you find an appliance that is not working properly or any other problems, please notify Columbia Gorge Getaways immediately. - There are no refunds issued to guests, as every effort is made to service each request. Damage Policy - The renter shall pay any and all legal fees to Columbia Gorge Getaways if any action or suit shall be brought about by Columbia Gorge Getaways for the recovery of rent due, reimbursement of damages, cleaning, or other expenses incurred by the renter. - Should you notice any damage to any units, trails, or facilities on the Columbia Gorge Getaways property please notify staff immediately. - This will help us to assess and repair any damage immediately. - Guests are responsible for any damage to their unit or property beyond standard wear and tear. - Columbia Gorge Getaways is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property. - It is recommended that any high-value belongings be locked in guests’ vehicles. Additional Services/Amenities. - When renting a yurt or safari tent, the following amenities are provided for your convenience: conditioning shampoo, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, dish towels, toilet paper, trash bags, bath towels, bed linens, and fully equipped kitchens. Campfire - Due to the extreme risk of wildfires, open flame fires (wood or propane) can only be used with written permission by Columbia Gorge Getaways. - Fires are never allowed during summer months. - Gas barbecues are permitted. Smoking - No Smoking is allowed in any of the units or the surrounding property. - The penalty for violation can exceed $1000. Drive Slowly - Please drive slowly within the property, families are at play. Quiet Hours - Please refrain from making excessive noise after 10 pm. - Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. - No generators and no loud music during quiet hours. Children - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. - Children age 3 and under stay free. - Children must not be left unattended for any reason at any time, including playground, trails, woods, in the unit, etc. Restroom - Please be respectful to other guests and refrain from washing dishes in restrooms. - Pets are also not allowed inside restrooms. Native Flora and Fauna - Please respect the native flora and fauna (Do not gather firewood, cut trees, or damage the property in any way. Any damage to the native flora and fauna will result in fees, fines, and/or immediate removal from property) Weather - Summer weather conditions change rapidly in the environment where Columbia Gorge Getaways is located. - Renter understands they must take precautions from excess sun conditions. - Winter weather conditions change rapidly in the mountain environment where Columbia Gorge Getaways is located. - Renter understands they must take precautions from falling snow and ice from building rooftops and trees, as well as slippery conditions. Mail - Columbia Gorge Getaways accepts no responsibility for packages shipped to or delivered to Columbia Gorge Getaways. Party or Commercial Purpose - At no time, shall property be used for a party or commercial purpose unless agreed upon with written consent from Columbia Gorge Getaways. Drug Use - Drug use is not tolerated on the property. After-Hours Assistance/Security - Should you need immediate assistance at any time, please call us at 1-509-427-8477. Non-Compliance - The resort reserves the right to evict at any time any guest who is not in compliance with the policies. - Refunds will not be issued to guests evicted due to non-compliance.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
