To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure - Check-In: 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm only. - Check Out: 11:00 am. - Arrival Times: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Trees - Trees are our friends, please treat them kindly. Electricity Usage - Power up wisely, no electrical overloads. Alcohol Public places are alcohol-free, let's have fun responsibly! Gate - Each seasonal campsite has been assigned a keycode for the park entry gate. - This keycode is personal to the campsite and should not be shared with others. Responsibility - Campers are responsible for the safety and conduct of their family and visitors at all times. - Reckless, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. - For everyone’s safety, children should be supervised at all times and return to their campsite at dark. Beach and Swimming Area - Children, first-time swimmers, and weaker swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket in the swimming area. - Adult supervision is mandatory at all times. - Appropriate swimwear is required at the beach. - In the event of complaint or concern, management reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of swimwear and to ask patrons to withdraw from public areas including the beach until the issue is resolved. - Vehicles are prohibited on the beach, playground, and docks. - Jet skis are strictly prohibited within the campground. Trailer and Campsite - The trailer shall be maintained and the exterior kept clean at all times. - The property should be clear of trash and clutter, and the lawns/gardens maintained. - No add-ons, additions, outside appliances, or site improvements shall be incorporated without prior written approval of the Owner. Liability/Insurance - Use of the campground and its equipment and facilities are solely at your own risk. - Insurance on your trailer, personal possessions, and public liability is your responsibility. - All trailers must be equipped with a fire extinguisher and smoke detectors as required by law. Deposits & Payments - Initial Deposit: At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. - Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Children & Pets - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. - Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. - Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times, accompanied by owners who stoop and scoop. - If you don’t have a pet litter bag, please ask us for one. - Picking up after your pet is mandatory. - Pets are not permitted on the “people” beach, but we do have a designated pet swimming area and a dog park for your pet to exercise under your careful supervision. - Pets are not permitted on the docks or beach area. - If you are taking your pet to your boat, please carry it from the road or grass until you get into your boat. - Pets are not permitted in cabins, washrooms, or common buildings; or on the beach or docks. - Pets are welcome to swim in the “pet swimming area” at the boat launch. Credit Card Security - Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. - Our policy is to provide an atmosphere where campers have fun in a friendly and safe environment where everyone is respectful of nature and each other. - This means some rules are needed. Failure to comply with any of our rules may result in immediate termination of your camping permit. - Offenders will be asked to leave without a refund. Non Premium Sites - Limit of SIX (6) persons per campsite. - An exception can be made for a group consisting of 2 adults and accompanying children under the age of 18. - Tent sites are limited to a maximum of 3 shelters. - This includes all sleeping and dining shelters. - Only one shelter can be a vehicle or trailer. Premium Tent Sites (97-99) - Limit of four (4) persons per premium campsite with a maximum of 2 shelters. - This includes sleeping and dining shelters. - Shower and toilet shelters are prohibited on premium tent sites. Canoe or Kayak Rentals - Leave the rental as you found it. - Keep it neat, no smoking in your rental. Campsite Limitations - Secure food, and personal items inside. - What's here, stays here. - Outhouse for dirty water, keep the ground clean. - Site fees include all permitted shelters up to the limit identified for the campsite. - We have discontinued to practice of charging for additional tents. - Limit of one trailer per campsite. - Dining tents are welcome. - All other tents including sleeping tents, shower tents, and toilet tents are strictly forbidden on trailer sites. - The site fee covers up to SIX (6) people. - A fee of $10.00 per night will be applied at check-in for additional campers. - Please read the campsite description carefully as some small campsites may not accommodate more than one or two shelters in total. Boat Docks - Boat docking is available @ $10/day or $50/week. - Ask for details at check-in. - Boat trailers can be parked in designated areas –but not on campsites. - Sea-doos and Jet Skis are prohibited. - Running on docks is dangerous to the runner and to other people on the dock. - Please remind your children to walk on the dock. Cabin - Our rental Cabins are classified as housekeeping cabins. - This means that you are responsible for bringing your own supplies and for cleaning the cabin during and at the end of your stay. Behavior - Respect wildlife, guests, and your stuff. - Clean as you go, share the space. - Respect the park, and have a blast! - Respect for other campers, their campsite, and their belongings is expected. - This expectation extends to your children and your visitors. - Walk on roadways, and don’t cut across other campsites. - Conduct deemed by Tiny Village Woodland Park management to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the park, guests, or associates, or which may adversely affect the safety of others is not permitted. Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Quiet Hours - Quiet time: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Nighttime: Soft music only after 10. - Keep music and voices at a reasonable level. - A rule of thumb is: if you can be heard more than 2 campsites away, you are probably annoying other campers. Water - Our water comes from a well (not the lake) and is filtered, treated, and tested regularly to ensure it is safe to drink from the tap at your campsite. - Campers staying on unserviced tent sites can confidently drink from taps labeled “Drinking Water”. - Water off when not in use. Vehicle - For everyone’s safety, bicycles, scooters, and other vehicles are prohibited on the beach and docks. - Only 1 vehicle may be parked on the campsite. - The second vehicle may be parked in our visitor parking area at no additional charge. - Operation of ATVs / Off-road vehicles is prohibited on the property. - If you wish to bring an ATV to ride on the nearby TransCanada Trail, you may park it in the designated area near the campground gate. - ATVs and Off-road vehicles are not permitted at your campsite. - Only 1 vehicle may be parked on the campsite. - A second vehicle may be parked in our visitor parking area at no additional charge. - Golf Carts are motorized vehicles to be used as a convenience or as a mobility aid and should be operated only by adults over the age of 25 with a valid driver’s license. - Please drive slowly and with caution through the park. - Drivers are urged to be mindful of pedestrians and children at all times. - Vehicles may not be parked on any roadways except while unloading the vehicle. - One vehicle per site; visitor vehicles, extra cars, utility, and boat trailers must be parked in designated areas. - Offroad vehicles are strictly prohibited from being used on campground property. - There will be a designated area where it can be parked and exit the park and will be subject to off-road vehicle storage rates. - Ask for the designated area. Firewood - We deliver a load of mixed hardwood, softwood, and kindling to your campsite for a very reasonable rate. - Our firewood load is equivalent to approximately six bags and is good quality, dry firewood. - Please be advised that there is absolutely no outside firewood allowed in the park. - In aid to stop the spread of the Asian Beetle, the Ash Bore, Gypsy months, and other invasive pests, we will restrict entry to anyone bringing outside firewood. - Do not cut, carve, or deface trees. - Do not remove wood from the forest. - Cutting trees or gathering brush or wood from the forest is also prohibited. Campfires - Only in management-approved fire pits. - The fire pits provided may be moved with the prior permission of management. - Campfires must be attended by an adult at all times and be extinguished before the area is vacated. - Each campsite and cabin has its own firepit. - Fires should only be in the pit and never left unattended. - Tent sites have firepits with attached cooking grates. - Do not move firepits for any reason. - For your convenience, fishing worms can be purchased onsite. Fishing - Please feel free to fish from the west shoreline and small dock away from boats, pets, and swimmers or from the dock that is next to the boat launch no one wants to get caught by a hook or tangled in a fishing line while swimming so Fishing from the dock next to the swimming area is prohibited. Fireworks and Firearms - No fireworks or firearms, let's keep it safe. - Fireworks of all kinds are strictly prohibited. - Fireworks are disruptive to wildlife and other campers, they are a fire hazard, and leave a mess of paper and metal bits that pollute the forest and lake. - Campers may be asked to leave for violation of rules or our campground inclusion policy, or for refusal to follow reasonable directions given by management. - If asked to leave, refunding any portion of any fees paid shall be at the sole discretion of park management. Trash - Food inside, trash out! - Sadly our waste pick-up service does not sort or recycle so we ask that you take dry recycling home with you if at all possible. - All other garbage should be deposited in the large yellow dumpster near the park gates. - Remember, wild creatures including squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and foxes will forage for food left out on tables or in your garbage bags, so be sure to put everything away at night or when you leave your campsite. - Seasonal campers may use the dumpster for food waste. - Please break down and flatten cardboard boxes before placing them in the dumpster. - Campers are encouraged to take recyclable bottles and beverage cans home at the end of their stay since recycling is not picked up at the park. - The garbage Dumpster is not for unwanted furniture, appliances, or other large items. - Please ask management how to dispose of these larger items. Generators - Generators are not permitted on tent sites at any time. - In the event of a power outage, trailers in the main park may use a generator only during the day. Toilet Facilities - Our washroom and outhouse are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with paper, hand soap/hand sanitizer. - Each has fully enclosed stalls for your privacy. Showers - Our shower building has fully enclosed showers and toilet stalls for your privacy. - One vehicle may be parked at your campsite or cabin. - Ask us about parking for extra vehicles and boat trailers. Speed Limit - 10 km/hour maximum on all campground roads. - Please remember to watch for children and grown-ups who may walk onto the road without looking first. Visitors - Visitors are the responsibility of the camper and are not permitted in the absence of the licensed camper(s). - All visitors must register. - Guests who stay past 10 pm are considered overnight guests and are subject to the overnight visitor rates. - Campers may welcome visitors from 10 am to 8 pm. (A fee of $10.00/adult per day applies). - All Visitors must register with campground management before entering the premises. - Campers are responsible for the actions of their visitors. - The total of campers and visitors should never exceed 10 per campsite. Wifi - Our rocky and forested location does not enable reliable wifi connectivity, but we are close to a 4G cellular tower and most campers find they are able to receive calls and use their cell phone data without issue. Campground Attractions - We invite you to enjoy walking our campground roads and forest paths where you will see lots of birds and small wildlife and if you are quiet, you may see deer, wild turkey, and some big old turtles. The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
