To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registrations and Arrival Check-In Procedure Check-In - Campsites: 1:00 p.m. - Cabins: 3:00 p.m. Check-Out - Campsites: 12:00 p.m. - Cabins: 11:00 a.m. - If you arrive early/ late, you agree to pay the proper fees. - Everyone in the park must be registered at the office and each vehicle must have a car pass. - Sharing of the gate code is strictly prohibited. - Wristbands are required to be worn at all times while in the Camp-Resort. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision for spot placement. Reservation Policy - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ RV Resort Lake Monroe requires a two-night minimum reservation and a three-night minimum reservation for camping or lodging on holidays and special event weekends. - All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival which we will take automatically with the credit card on file. - Special or promotional offers are only valid on non-holiday or special event weekends and cannot be combined with any other offers. - Requested sites will be site-locked. Lodging - There are no linens provided in the lodging so please be sure to bring them. Children Policy - Parents are responsible for their children’s actions. - Children are to be accompanied by an adult to comfort stations and the pool. - All children under 18 are to be at their site during quiet hours. - All children under 18 must be at their site after 10:00 p.m. - These requirements apply equally to all guests and their invitees. - In the event the Camp-Resort has a scheduled activity that extends past 10:00 p.m., affected guests will be asked to be at their campsite no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the scheduled activity. Consideration - Please be considerate of others. - Do not disturb their peace and quiet by walking through their site or playing loud music. - Do not destroy view with clotheslines hanging from trees, utility poles, campers or vehicles. - Bug zappers are prohibited. Quiet Hours - 11:00 pm — 8:00 am. - Music must be turned off by 11:00 pm each night. - Children must be on their site at dusk unless accompanied by an adult. - During this time, please keep voices and other noises to a minimum and turn off any amplified sound. - Please ensure that noise, human or otherwise, cannot be heard beyond your site boundary. - At all times, please be mindful of other guests and refrain from making excessive noise. - Any loud noise, which in the opinion of Camp-Resort Management could disturb others, will not be tolerated and will be handled in the appropriate fashion. Parking - Only one vehicle is permitted to be parked at your site. - Second vehicles must be kept in the overflow parking area. Rugs - Rugs are not permitted to be placed on the grass. - Doormats limited in size to 3′ x 5′. Trees - Do not tie pets, clotheslines, chains, or other items to the trees. - Cutting and/or dragging any branches or limbs from trees in the park or from the woods is strictly prohibited. Firewood - You may not bring out-of-state firewood into the campground. - Firewood is available for purchase at the Ranger Station and can be delivered to your site. - Please do not move fire rings or burn trash. Fire Policy - No fireworks, firearms, or weaponry of any kind are permitted on the Camp-Resort property. Campfires Policy - Campfires are part of the camping experience and are allowed in the fire rings or in a charcoal grill only. - They must be properly extinguished when not attended and must be of reasonable size so as not to endanger anyone or anything. - We follow the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recommendations for firewood and ask that you not bring firewood onto our property. - At the request of the DNR, help us control the spread of the emerald ash borer. - You are the best weapon we have against this exotic beetle that has already killed 25 million ash trees in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. - For your convenience, the Ranger Station store has wood bundles available for purchase. Trash - Trash will be picked up from your site each day. - Please tie trash securely and place curbside. - Please do not leave trash out overnight. - Please do not litter and dispose of cigarette butts and pet fallout properly. Drugs - The possession and use of any drugs, including but not limited to marijuana, is strictly prohibited on Lake Monroe's private property. - The definition of private property shall include all common areas of the park, i.e., walking trails, pavilions, wagon rides, restrooms, open areas, beach and lake, etc. This also includes rental items such as boats, paddleboards, and golf carts. Bikes - No bicycle riding after dark. Helmets are encouraged to be worn. - Mopeds, Mini-bikes, Scooters, and ATVs are not permitted. - Bikes and skateboards should be put away at dusk. - Camp-Resort Management does not permit rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, or scooters of any kind on sidewalks or inside buildings. - Only ADA-compliant scooters are permitted in these areas for our special needs guests. - Dirt bike and ATV riding is prohibited on Camp-Resort property. Clotheslines - Clotheslines are not permitted at your campsite. - Washers and dryers are provided for your convenience in the Ranger Station complex. Behavioral - Excessive Noise, Foul Language, Loud or Obnoxious Behavior is not permitted at any time. - Anyone creating a disturbance will be asked to leave the park without a refund. - As a matter of courtesy, our guests are to exercise good sense and respect for others. - Please remember that we enforce our rules to protect our guests and our park. - Management reserves the right to evict, at our discretion and without refund, any person whose conduct is objectionable or violates our Camp-Resort’s policies. Beach / Pool - Splash Ground and Pool areas are posted at each location and on our daily activity log. - Warning: No Life Guard On Duty at the swimming pool, swimming beach, or any other water-related activity, and participating and swimming are at your own risk. - Anyone age 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times in the pool area. - Anyone age 14 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times at the Splash Ground area. - Please obey Beach and Splash Ground as posted - Proper swim attire is required in the pool area. - Cut-offs and street clothes are not acceptable. - Parents need to accompany children 14 years old or younger while in the pool area. - There are no lifeguards on duty. - Children must wear swim diapers if they are not fully toilet trained. Pets - Are welcome when quiet and on a leash. - Please do not leave pets unattended. - Pets are not permitted in any building, on the Splash Ground, on playgrounds, or in the pool. - Pet owners are responsible for their pet’s fallout. - Place in a plastic bag, tie, and put in the trash. - Pets are allowed in the Camp-Resort. - The pet owner is responsible for cleaning up after the pet and keeping the pet under control (leashed and refrained from excessive barking) throughout the entire Camp-Resort. - If you are using an electric fence barrier at your site, it must be clearly posted. - If your pet is leashed, the leash is not permitted to extend beyond your site boundaries. - Due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in the water features, comfort stations, or Ranger Station. - Our Hoosier Hide-a-way Cabins are pet friendly, limited to one dog per cabin. - There is an additional pet fee of $25.00. Pets are not allowed in the other cabins. - We ask that there be no more than 2 pets per site. - Exceptions to this request are at the discretion of the Camp-Resort Management. Golf Carts - You may bring your own golf cart in but we must have proof of insurance and driver's licenses on file. - Lake Monroe carts can be rented at the Ranger Station. - All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age. - For safety, carts do not hold more than 5 passengers. - Alcoholic beverages are not to be consumed or held by the driver of the golf cart. Speed Limit - Carts must drive only on roads and marked trails, and not exceed the posted park speed of 5 MPH. - To ensure everyone's safety, slow and safe driving is required throughout the property. - All drivers must be aware that pedestrians and bicycle traffic always have the right of way on-site. Clotheslines - Clotheslines are not permitted to be hung anywhere on your campsite or rental unit. Tents - Extra tents on an RV, tent site, are permitted as long as they fit within the site. - Please call the office for specifics. Max of 8 people per site. Weapons / Fireworks - No firearms, fireworks, slingshots, BB guns, bows and arrows, etc. are to be discharged in the park. Remote Control Cars - Are not permitted on the roads of the park. Vehicle Policy - In order to provide an appealing atmosphere for all guests, space has been provided at each site for the RV and two vehicles (trucks, cars, boats, or trailers). - Any additional vehicles will be charged a daily fee. - All parking at the campsite is restricted to the site’s parking pad. - Vehicles are not allowed to park on the grass areas. - Overflow parking for additional vehicles is available in designated areas. - For information regarding these areas, please inquire at the Ranger Station office. - All guests are required to display a parking pass in their vehicles at all times while they are in the park. Trash - Please help keep our park beautiful, do not litter (including cigarette butts) or harm/ destroy any trees. - Please place all garbage in dumpsters located throughout the CampResort. - See the site map for actual locations. - Dumping of grey water or sewerage on the grounds is in violation of State Law. Alcohol Policy - Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed at an individual's campsite and only in amounts of moderation. Disclaimer - The common areas at Jellystone Park are intended for the use and enjoyment of all guests. - No guest will be excluded from any common area in the park unless the area has been reserved for a specific group or for a specific purpose and that reservation has been approved by park management. - Reservation requests may be granted or withheld at management’s sole discretion and must be submitted to management at least 48 hours in advance of the reservation start time. - All other common sense rules apply. - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Lake Monroe reserves the right to interpret or change all rules. - Campers who are uncooperative or violate park rules will be asked to leave with no refund. - The park assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. - Jellystone Park ™ at Lake Monroe is a family-oriented park. - We want everyone to have fun, enjoy our facilities, and have a relaxing stay. - Please respect other campers and our park facilities. - Please inform all members of your camping party of the policies of the Camp-Resort. - Please abide by all posted regulation signage throughout the Camp-Resort.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
