To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground, its officers, and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities. HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS: If the Holiday or Special event is less than 30 days away, reservations must be paid in full at the time of reservation. For reservations made more than 30 days in advance, a 1-night deposit is required. No credit for cancellation or no-shows on Holidays and Special Events for any reason. NO SHOWS: If you are going to be late arriving for your reservation, you must notify us during business hours on the day of your scheduled arrival. If we do not hear from you to make arrangements for late arrival, your reservation will cancel 24 hours after your scheduled arrival date and you will not receive any credit. CHECK-IN: - 12 pm for RV’s, 3 pm for Cabins. CHECK OUT - Check-out time for all is 11 am. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - Early check-in may be available for an additional $25. There is no late check-out available. - If you are interested in an Early Check-in, please notify the office at least 24 hours prior to your arrival so that we may see if it is available. - While we will do our best to allow for early check-in, we cannot guarantee it. - Due to other guests that may be checking in, our staff is ready to clean your cabin or site at 11 am. - If you are not completely out of your RV site or cabin by 11 am you will be charged a $10 late check-out fee for the first 30 minutes. - If you vacate your cabin or site after 12:00pm, you will be charged a full day and you still may be required to vacate the site or cabin due to pending reservations. So PLEASE, check out by 11 am on your last day with us. Thank you! UPON ARRIVAL: - During business hours, stop at the STOP sign, please come into the office, sign in and pick up your arrival pack. - Your arrival pack includes a resort map and directions to your site. - All Big Chief guests agree to follow the resort rules and policies. - The guest understands that the resort may terminate the guest’s stay at any time for any reason. - If a guest’s stay is terminated, the guest agrees to peacefully and immediately leave the resort and no credit or refund will be provided. LATE ARRIVALS: - If you are arriving after 5 pm, please call us before 3 pm on your day of arrival and tell us your expected arrival time. - Then on arrival, stop at the stop sign and look in the Late Arrivals box just outside our office door and collect the arrival pack that has your name on it. - Your arrival pack will include directions to your site. - You must come into the office and sign in by 11 am the following morning. SITE NUMBERS: - Site numbers are never guaranteed but we do our best to give you the site you ask for. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. ALCOHOL: - If we believe you are intoxicated and your behavior infringes on other guests or we feel you may present a safety issue, we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately without refund or credit of any kind. SWIMMING POOL/HOT TUB Rules/Policy: - Current hours are from 11 am to 8 pm and are subject to change. - Use is for registered guests only. - All persons using the pool/hot tub do so at their own risk. All pool rules apply inside the fenced swimming pool area. - No Children under 16 unless accompanied by Parent or Guardian from the party that is with them inside the fenced swimming pool area. - No climbing on or jumping from rocks or rock walls! - No Diving, jumping, or aggressive behavior that may cause injury to or scare another guest. - No Coolers of any kind- Leave your coolers and personal items on the deck that overlooks the pool area. - No Food of any kind or “squeezy”, sugary drinks are ever allowed in the pool area. Use a deck that overlooks the pool area. - No Glass Containers! Plastic containers or aluminum cans only (use trash can inside fenced area to dispose of your trash)! - No Smoking, Tobacco products, or Vaping. - No Pets. - No bubbles, other liquids, or powders are ever allowed to be put in the pool or hot tub. - If you observe Guests violating these Rules & Policies, please contact the office immediately at 512-756-6841. PRIVATE RAMP, BOAT LAUNCH & PARKING: - Boat ramp hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM. - All persons using boat launch or parking on the property must check in at our office and receive a parking tag or will be subject to being towed at the owner’s expense. No exceptions. Upon checking in at the office, you will receive a parking tag that must be displayed on your windshield or dashboard while you are on the property. There is a $5 launch fee. If you want to park on the property, there is a $10 daily parking fee. - Our designated parking area is between the blue dumpsters and the concrete wall behind the waterfront cabins. - Do not park anywhere else or you are subject to being towed. Before/After Office Hours: - If you are using the launch area before or after Office hours, we have an Honesty Box at the Stop Sign next to Office and one by our office door. - Please fill out the launch form/envelope and place it AND your launch fee INSIDE the Honesty Box. Do NOT block the boat dock or the launch ramp/launching area at any time. - If you block the dock or park on the launch areas or in other No Parking Areas, your vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. ANNUAL BOAT LAUNCH PERMIT: - For One Tow vehicle and One Trailer is $150 DRY STORAGE: - Monthly Vehicle or boat storage is $50.00 per month (fee includes boat ramp usage). GOLF CARTS: - We do NOT allow the use of Golf Carts, ATVs, or UTVs of any kind. QUIET HOURS: 10 pm until 8 am SIZE OF PARTY: - We allow up to 4 guests per RV site. - Additional guests are $5 per person, per night. SHADE/AWNINGS: - Are allowed. However, NO STAKES ARE ALLOWED! - Stakes can cause damage to underground waterlines. - You may use other means of “anchoring” your shade/awning (cinder blocks, etc). - There is a $50 non-refundable fee to use an awning if you use stakes. - If your stakes damage an underground line, we will take a photo of the damage and send it via email within 7 days of departure. - If your stakes do not damage a waterline, you will have a $50 credit towards a future stay to be used within 6 months. DAMAGES TO CABINS: - Normal and reasonable use of cabin furnishings and fixtures is expected. - If any damages occur including vomit, spills, blood, urine, pet hair, feces, etc, the Guest understands that they will be charged for such damages, repairs, or replacement of damaged furnishings, fixtures, or other cabin contents that are missing or damaged or reasonable cleaning fees that may be assessed. NOT ALLOWED: - Clotheslines, kiddie pools, washing of cars/boats, campfires (except in designated areas), fireworks, no smoking or vaping is allowed in any building including cabins and pool area, no generators. - No skateboards, scooters, roller skates, roller blades, ATV’s and Four-Wheeler Bikes. - No cleaning or frying of fish in or within 15 feet of any cabin or RV site. - All oil and/or fish guts must be disposed of in the blue dumpsters. Otherwise, we will charge a minimum $150 cleaning fee. BICYCLES: - Bicycles may be ridden on gravel roads ONLY! - Do NOT ride a bicycle on an asphalt or paved road, period. - If you ride a bicycle on the asphalt for any reason, you will receive one warning. - The second time you will be subject to being evicted without refund or credit of any kind. NO TENT CAMPING ADDITIONAL FEES & INFORMATION: - Monthly Vehicle, boat storage: $5 per night, $50.00 per month (fee includes boat ramp usage). LATE ARRIVALS: - Upon arrival, stop at the stop sign by the office. - If the office is closed, you will find your arrival packet (map) with your name on it and directions to your site in our “late arrival” box located next to the front office door. CABINS: - Linens are provided for the queen beds and futons (sheets, pillows, blankets), however, bath towels are NOT provided. - Please bring your own towels. PETS in RV SITES: - RVers are allowed two dogs per site. - A third pet is allowed for an additional $5 per night. - Pets must be kept on leashes at all times and you must pick up after them. - Dogs are never allowed in any buildings. PETS in CABINS: - Cabins 7 & 9 are the ONLY Pet-Friendly Cabins. - There is a non-refundable fee of $10 per night per dog, up to 2 dogs. - The dog (s) must be kept in a metal or plastic kennel when they are left alone in the cabin. - If your cabin is unoccupied and your dog is not secured in a crate or kennel, your stay is subject to immediate termination without refund and you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. - The guest is fully responsible for any/all damages to the cabin. PET POLICY: - Pets must be on a leash at all times. - Pick up after your pet, (we have complimentary poop bags in the office). - No exceptions. - There is a $10.00 clean-up fee each time we pick up your dog’s poop! - Barking must be kept under control and not disturbing others. - DO NOT tie pets up to or around the electric pedestals and/or water spigots. - No pet pooping on the Disc (Frisbee) golf course! If you violate our Pet Policy, if your pet is too vocal, if we believe that your pet may be a danger or nuisance to others, or if you do not immediately pick up your pet’s poop, we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately without refund of any kind. Guests are responsible for all property damages and or personal injuries resulting from their pets. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the resort, its owners, and its operator from all liability and damages suffered as the result of the guest’s pet. The resort reserves the right to charge the guest’s account commensurate to the cost of such damages and/or repairs. DAY GUESTS: All guests who are visiting someone staying in the resort must register in the office and pay for a guest/parking pass of $5 per person (age 6 and older) for full access to the resort facilities. CAMPFIRES: We do allow campfires (unless we are in a burn ban). We do not allow any burning directly on the ground. You can either bring in your own raised fire pit or rent one from our office for a small fee per day. Video/Photo Release By staying at the park I hereby grant Dacia Resort Group and its subsidiary properties on behalf of myself and on behalf of my child(ren)/ward(s), and other members of my group or party, the irrevocable right, and permission to photograph and/or record me or my child(ren)/ward(s) in connection with Dacia Resort Group and to use the photograph and/or recording for promotional purposes. I waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the photograph and/or recording, and acknowledge and agree that the rights granted to this release are without compensation of any kind.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
