To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure - Check-in time is 2:00 pm. - Check-out time is 11:00 am for cabins. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Acknowledgment - By accepting this reservation, I acknowledge this is a temporary license to stay on the premises that can be revoked at any time (Without refund). - This is not a residence of any kind but a temporary vacation spot. If revoked at any time, it would result in Immediately vacating the property if asked to do so. - Guest at this moment waives, releases discharges, and covenants not to sue Pope Haven Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, or any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guest’s use of the Rental/Property. - Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pope Haven Campground from all losses, claims, expenses, and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Pope Haven Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guest’s use of the Rental/Property. - Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. - Pope Haven Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant, or guest subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program. - I at this moment, knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify, and hold harmless, pope haven campground, and all officers and employees of all liability for injuries caused by, but not limited to, the following activities: campfires, hiking, fishing, swimming, playground equipment, wagon rides, planned events, dogs, showers, speed bumps, bicycle or motorcycle use, golf carts, electric scooters and encounters with wildlife. - I acknowledge that camping has many hazards and risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment. - I acknowledge that Pope Haven Campground is not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage incurred during my stay. - My signature below confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies at Pope Haven Campground. - I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property without a refund for failure to follow said rules and guidelines. - A copy of which is posted at the Pope Haven Campground store. Liability - Management shall not be held liable or responsible for the non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. - Pope Haven Campground or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person, property, or thing, howsoever caused. - The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper, or group of campers for any cause. - In consideration for myself and all persons entering under my supervision, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at Pope Haven Campground, I and all persons listed below agree to the following Waiver and Release: Seasonal Camping Season - The official Seasonal Camping Season is from May 1 to October 15th. Photographs and Videos - I now consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all parties listed below during our stay at Pope Haven Campground for event documentation and promotion of Pope Haven Campground. - Names will not be published. - My signature confirms that I have a valid rabies certificate for any pets in my party. I will provide a copy when you check in if necessary. - I have reviewed and read the swimming pool policies mandated by NYS and the Cattaraugus County Health Department. Pool - The swimming pool policies are as follows, but not limited to: - There are no lifeguards on duty – swim at your own risk. - Never swim alone. At least two adults, 18 years or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult remaining on the pool deck. - There is no substitute for adequate supervision. - Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied to the swimming facility by a parent or guardian (an adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior). - In case of an emergency, notify 911 immediately and notify the facility operator. A free telephone is provided at this facility. (outside the camp store next to the pool entrance in a clear weatherproof box) - Only use the swimming facility during posted hours of operation. - No diving into the swimming pool, no jumping into the swimming pool. - Do not drink alcohol and swim. Visitors - Unauthorized visitors who do not check in are considered trespassing and will be dealt with as such. - All visitors must have a pass and pay visitor fees. - Day visitor passes expire at 10 pm. - Overnight visitor passes expire 24 hours after entry. Pets - We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. - Pets are the owner's responsibility. - Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. - Dogs must be leashed, PERIOD! So, as you know, invisible fences are not good enough. They are not permitted. - Barking dogs must be silenced. - Dogs must be friendly. - An adult must walk dogs. (Imagine your child in between two fighting dogs). - Dogs must be left here with you. - Doggy clean-up stations are throughout the park so that you can catch up after your dog. - Sites that have dog poop left on them may not be allowed back to the campground. - At most, three dogs per site. - Pets are not allowed in any rental units. Social Media - Pope Haven Campground reserves the right to post any images taken on the premises at any time to our social media page, website, brochures, or any advertisement. - Golf Cart Policies for Personal or Rental Carts. - When bringing your Golf Cart or Renting one of Pope Haven's. - Golf cart drivers MUST be 18 and have a valid driver's license. - This rule will be intact even for one little weekend. - Golf Carts must have LIABILITY Insurance to be driven on Pope Haven Campground property. - You'll need to be supplied to Pope Haven Campground upon entrance. - There will be a $10 per night fee to bring your golf cart. - No cruising around the park after quiet hours. - All golf carts must have headlights to be driven after dark. - Golf Carts will stop at all Stop signs. - Larger vehicles have the right away. - Pedestrians take precedence over Golf Carts. - Golf Carts will follow the 5MPH speed limit in the park. - Golf Cart Seating capacity is to be strictly followed. - Use common sense. Do not drive with a child in your lap. - We understand it is fun to let the little kids sit on your lap and drive with you but think of what they would feel like if you crash and they absorb your weight into the steering wheel. - All seasonals with Golf carts must register the golf cart at the office, provide proof of insurance, and pay a registration fee to get a site marker Sticker for Both sides of their golf cart for easy identification. Firewood - We offer Firewood by the bundle and deliver it right to your site. - Firewood provided to the campground patrons is by a trusted supplier. - New York State has rules against transporting firewood. - For the New York State rules and regulations regarding firewood, - please visit the DEC website at www.dec.ny.gov/animals/28722.html. Quiet Hours - Quiet Hours are 11 pm till 9 am every day - No mowing, weed whacking, or power tools will be used between Friday, 7 pm, and noon on Sunday or Monday on 3-day holiday weekends. - No burning of leaves allowed, either. Grass Trimming - We will cut the grass as close to your unit as possible, usually up to your fire ring. - You are responsible for trimming around the unit and cleaning out the fire pit. - If you fail to keep your unit properly trimmed, we will do it and bill you for the labor. - Lawnmowers, weed trimmers, and other power equipment should be used with consideration of others. - Please do not use power equipment of any kind all day on Saturday or Sunday until after noon. (And = no power equipment all day Sunday and until after Noon on Monday of Holiday weekends) Decks - Decks are allowed but must be in sections no larger than 4’x 10’to 12’. - Decks must be “free-standing” and not connected to the camper or installed in the ground. - The campground owner must approve the use of any outside contractors. - All deck designs must have prior approval by park management. Electric - Meters will be read on or around the 1st of the month, posted by the 15th, and due in full before the 30th of that month. - You must come to the office and pay or call Pope Haven Inc Campground at (716) 358-4900 and make other payment arrangements. - A $10 late fee will be assessed at 30 days past due and another $10.00 at 60 days. After 60 days, your electricity will be disconnected. Trash - Recycle as much as possible. - A dumpster is provided for your CAMPING GARBAGE ONLY. - Do not bring garbage from your home. There will be a $25.00 charge per bag. - Place trash in the dumpster by Thursday evening before pick-up. - All garbage MUST be in plastic bags. - Cardboard boxes must be torn down & plastic milk jugs crushed. - Recycle: Soda-pop cans, beer cans, plastic pop bottles, and recyclable plastic should be placed in the blue recycle bins near the dumpsters. No glass! - None of the following items may be placed IN or NEAR the dumpster without prior authorization by the campground owner. - no batteries. - No cardboard boxes unless broken down into flats. - No chairs. - No coolers. - No grills. - No mattresses. - No old carpet. - No propane bottles. - No television sets. - No vacuum cleaners. - No pools. - No items of any kind… that are not considered camping garbage. - These items must be taken to the county dump one mile south on Route 241, which is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. - There will be a fee for garbage brought from your home or for each item listed above $25.00 per bag or item. - This will be enforced! If you have a trash item and are unsure what to do, please ask, and we will help you dispose of it properly. Rates - Rates are subject to change. - All prices are based on a family of 5. - Two adults and their three children, 17 & under, per campsite. - Persons 18 and older are considered adults. - Separate charges apply for extra people in your group. (See visitor fees) Deposits and Payments - Credit cards will be processed/charged immediately at the time of booking. - All reservations will be paid in full at the time of reservation (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover are accepted.) Seasonal - A non-refundable deposit of one-third of the total amount is due on October 1st, - This entitles you to leave your camper on-site over the winter. If you decide to leave before May 1st, you will forfeit this deposit. Your RV must be removed by April 15th. - Deposits for the following year 1/3 Due Oct 1st 1/3 Due Feb 1st, and Final Payment or Total Balance Due May 1st. - Confirmations are automatically made after your reservation is made. Cabin and RV Rental - You can bring your linens and kitchen supplies. (all cupboards and drawers are empty) - Sorry, no pets are allowed inside the rental cabin. - If pets are found inside the RV or cabin, customers will pay for any cleaning and repairs and be forced to leave immediately without a refund. - There is a two-night minimum for all rentals and a three-night minimum on all holidays for RVs and cabins. - You must be 21 or older to rent; a minimum of one person 21 years old or older is required for your stay. - Your credit card information will be maintained and can be charged after inspection of the rental. - Inspection includes but is not limited to cleanliness, damage, or evidence of pets or smoking in an RV or cabin. - All policies are subject to change at any time. - No ATVs are allowed; other motorized vehicles, if approved, are absolutely not allowed to leave the campground property under any circumstance. Smoking - No smoking inside the rental RV or cabin. - This includes the doorway into the unit. Seasonal Renewal - Please notify the owner(s) of Pope Haven Inc. Campground by October 1 if you want the site reserved for the following season. The first payment is due October 1. - If Pope Haven Inc Campground does not hear from you by then, it will be assumed that the site is available for another camper and will be vacated before the park closes on October 15; you will be assessed the daily camping fee of 30.00 per day and will be due for every day your camper is left on that site after Oct 15. Pump Outs - Pumpouts will be done on Monday (Tuesday after the holidays), weather permitting. - If you require a pump out, close the handle on the gray water to have gray water in your holding tank. - This is required for the pump hose to be thoroughly cleaned and debris-free. - No gray water = No pump out. - Please sign up for pump-out at the office by Sunday. Termination by Pope Haven INC Campground - Pope Haven Inc Campground may terminate this licensing agreement and the removal of the camping unit for any of the following reasons or as amended at the option of Pope Haven Inc Campground: - Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of this license agreement or Pope Haven Inc Campground rules and regulations. - Conduct by seasonal or seasonal guests upon Pope Haven Inc Campground premises, which substantially annoys the other occupants of Pope Haven Inc Campground. - Non-payment of rent and utility charges according to this agreement. - You Must use your site at least 50% of the season. There are 26 six weekends in the camping season, and if you are not here at least 13 weekends, you are at risk of not being renewed as a seasonal License Holder. - You must also be here every other week to mow and keep your site neat and Tidy. In less, some other extenuating circumstances might apply.

Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
