Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure - Check-in time is 2:00 PM for campsites. - Checkout time is 11 am. - Registration/Checkout: We require each guest and visitor to register in the office upon entering the park. - Full payment, which is non-refundable due upon check-in. - No changes of sites without management approval. - All overnight guests must be registered and paid. - Names must be available in case of emergency. - If you wish to stay additional nights, you must pay before 11 am. - We cannot guarantee space if you decide to extend your stay. - There is a late checkout charge. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Disclaimer - The following rules and regulations are for all guests of Lake George Camping Village to preserve the park’s facilities and to ensure a pleasant guest experience. - We ask each guest to comply with these rules and regulations to create a compatible community in which we can all be proud. Emergencies - Call 911 in any emergency: fire, police, or ambulance. Quiet Hours - 10 pm until 8 am are quiet hours. - Intoxication, under the influence of drugs, or improper conduct is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. - Please realize that sound travels easily. - We reserve the right to end any gathering that in our judgment disturbs quiet hours. - A request to leave will be without a refund. Children - Guests and visitors with children are welcome. - Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised. - Please accompany small children to the restrooms. - To operate a golf cart, a person must be over 16 and have a valid driver’s license. - To play bingo, one must be at least 18 years of age. Pets - Up to two pets are allowed unless approved by management. - Pets must be on a leash and are not to be left unattended. - Any pet left unattended on site and causing a disturbance will be removed by the dog warden, with any fees charged to the pet owner. - Only temporary portable & removable fences approved by the manager are allowed. - Pets are not permitted in common areas unless there is a special reason (for example, seeing eye dogs or hearing dogs). - Guests and visitors are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately. - Violators are subject to a fine. All pets must have updated shots. - No exotic pets are permitted. - Restricted breeds include but are not limited to Akitas, Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinchers, Huskies, Rottweilers, Chows, Presa Canarios, German Shepherds, all bulldog Breeds, Boerboels, Cane Corsos, Wolf-Hybrid, Great Danes, Malamutes and/or any dog that displays aggression. Electric - Electric is metered for all stays 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks) or more. - The use of autotransformers is prohibited in our park. Vehicles/Speed Limit - the maximum speed limit is 5 miles per hour. - Vehicles must be operated in a safe, courteous, and cautious manner at all times. - Pedestrians, golf carts, and bicycles have the right of way. - No unlicensed vehicles can be left on sites. - Only two vehicles are allowed per site. - Mini-bikes and motorcycles may not be driven in the park, except for entering and exiting the park. Vehicle repair and maintenance - Repairing automobiles, trucks, trailers, RV’s, boats, or similar equipment is not permitted in the park. - Oil changing is not allowed. - RV washing is permitted upon request. Bicycles - Bicycles may be driven only on the streets, and pedestrians always have the right of way. - Bicycles and golf carts must be equipped with lights after dark. - The use of helmets is required for all cyclists under the age of 14 by New York law. Pool - There is no lifeguard on duty. - Pool use will be at the risk of guests and visitors. - Pool rules must be observed. - No children under 16 years of age will be allowed in the pool without adult supervision (21 years of age). No incontinent persons or children in diapers are permitted in the pool. - Disposable swim pants (“Little Swimmers” by Huggies) are permitted for toddlers. Fires - Fires are allowed in campground fire pits and campground stand-up grills. Firearms/Fireworks - You have the right to bear arms but not on our property. - No firearms or fireworks are allowed in the park. Laundry - The use of in-unit washing machines and clothes dryers is not permitted in the park. - For your convenience, washing machines and dryers are conveniently located throughout the park. - Do not leave laundry unattended. Photography - We reserve the right to photograph activities, events, and any person within the park. Open Containers - No alcoholic beverages are allowed while driving golf carts or in common areas (pool, store, roadways, grounds, etc). Signage - No advertising in windows or on your site is allowed, including RV or camper “for sale” signs. Garbage/Sanitation - Trash will be placed in a plastic bag and taken to the dumpster for disposal. - Do not leave your trash outside. Sewer Hoses - You must have a positive seal around the sewer hose connection to avoid odor. - Absolutely no storing or dumping of hazardous liquids on the ground or in the sewer. Site Maintenance - Please keep your site neat and free of clutter with no inside furniture outside, debris, appliances, coolers, or trash. - Any decks, sunrooms, or other structures must be approved by management and to local code. - Boats and trailers must be placed in storage. - All skirting of units must be vinyl and no plastic sheds are allowed. - No pools are allowed on sites. - Any tarp must be neutral color, no blue tarps allowed. Planting of Shrubs - Do not dig prior to receiving management’s permission. - You will be responsible for the damage of underground utilities. Smoking - Smoking is not permitted in any building. Tents - Only one tent is allowed per site. - Tents can only be set up on designated tent sites. Right to Change - Management reserves the right to change these rules at their discretion without notice. - Management shall make every effort to enforce the Rules and Regulations equally and promptly. Driver’s License - For use in the normal course of business by a legitimate business or its agents, employees, or contractors, but only—(A) to verify the accuracy of personal information submitted by the individual to the business or its agents, employees, or contractors; and (B) if such information as so submitted is not correct or is no longer correct, to obtain the correct information, but only for the purposes of preventing fraud by, pursuing legal remedies against, or recovering on a debt or security interest against, the individual. - However, guests and visitors agree that enforcement is a private matter between Management and visitors/guests. - The enforcement or lack thereof, will not result in any damage or claim by any guest/visitor against the Campground or Management or constitute a waiver of the Campground’s right to enforce the Rules & Regulations.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
