To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Village Camp Truckee RENTAL POLICIES: RESERVATIONS: - Reservations at Village Camp Truckee are restricted to RVs ten (10) years or newer, including Motorhomes, 5th Wheels, Travel Trailers, and Truck Campers. - RVs that do not meet the 10-year age restriction will have their reservations canceled and will not receive a refund. - Rental rates are based on two (2) person occupancy per RV site with an additional charge of $8 per guest and/or children (maximum of two people per site, per night) and only two (2) pets within breed and weight restrictions. PAYMENT: - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - For additional onsite purchases, Village Camp Truckee Park will only accept major credit cards, cashier’s checks, or money orders. No Cash will be accepted. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT POLICY: Check-In: - All Guests are required to check in at the Park Office to pick up their rental packet. - Your rate includes two adults per night and two children per night. Each additional adult is $8/night and each additional child (under 12) is $5/night. - Check-In Time is 1 pm. - If you are to arrive after hours, your welcome package will be placed in a box outside the office door labeled “Registered Guests”. - Inside your welcome package will be a site map with directions to your site, door codes, and other helpful information. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - No refunds will be given should you decide to shorten your stay. Check-Out: - Departure time is 11 am on your departure date. - Unauthorized extensions beyond this time will result in a charge equal to one day's rent at the published rate for that time period. - We reserve the right to take possession of the property in the event of non-payment and/or holdover. Deposit: - All reservations require payment in advance. - If a balance exists, it must be paid in full before commencing the reservation. Occupancy: - The maximum number of people approved per site is 6 people. Minimum Stays: - Holiday weekends require a three or more-night minimum stay. Age Restriction: - RVs must be 10 years or newer and must be RVIA certified. - RVs discovered not in compliance will have their reservation canceled and will not receive a refund. Future Reservations: - Reservations for the summer season (May 1 - Sept. 30) will become available beginning January 1st of that year. - Peak season (May 1 - Sept. 30) requires a 2-night minimum. Quiet Hours: - 10:30 pm to 8:00 am each day. - Please be respectful of your neighbors. Propane: - All propane bottles must be mounted to the tongue of RV and covered with a proper-sized tank enclosure Wi-Fi: This is available for casual use. Vehicles: - There is a maximum of two vehicles per site. - Overflow parking is available and additional charges may apply. Guests: Guests not included in your reservation must register with the office upon arrival and an additional fee of $8 per person, per day will apply. Pets: - Only two (2) pets within breed and weight restrictions. - Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. - Pet waste must be immediately cleaned by the owners. - Failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional fees. - No aggressive pets or pets with a history of aggression will be allowed. - Pet pens and/or outdoor fences are strictly prohibited. Sewer Hook-Up: All sewer hoses must make an air-tight seal when connected to the sewer hook-up Fireworks: Fireworks are prohibited in the park. Bikes: - It is recommended that all persons riding a bicycle wear a helmet while operating their bicycles. - When not in use, bicycles must be stored neatly or mounted to the sport rack of the RV. Fire Pits: - Wood-burning fire pits are prohibited. - Propane fire pits are allowed and must not be left unattended. - No exceptions. Trash: - Do not leave any trash outside of your RV due to bears in the area. - All garbage must be disposed of in the provided dumpsters. Tents: No tents, pop-up canopies, or other structures are allowed to be erected at any time. Trees: Do not cut, deface, or anchor anything to any trees or shrubs. Furniture: Patio furniture must be uniform in design and appearance. Storage: - Storage of items under your RV is strictly prohibited. - Tablecloths, ice chests, tools, snowblowers, brooms, and other personal items are to be stored away while not in use. Site Appearance: - Do not hang any towels, bathing suits, or other linens outside of your RV. - Clotheslines are prohibited. - Sites must be neat and orderly and only consist of regular outdoor items. Parking: - Do not allow your vehicle to protrude into the street. - Parking in vacant RV lots is prohibited, and vehicles are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. - Please do not park or drive on the grass. Self-Contained: All RVs must be self-contained and equipped with a holding tank. Cargo Trailers: - Cargo trailers, car dollies, and other transport trailers are not allowed on your RV site. - Management may be able to provide you with space to park. - Please inquire in the office. Indemnification and Liability: The park will not be responsible for damage to your personal property caused by nature, other guests, tenants, or residents. Decorations: Decorations must be in good taste and holiday decorations must be removed within 2 weeks of the holiday. BBQ Pits: - Do not place any BBQ pits on park-owned picnic tables. - BBQ pits must be stored away or covered when not in use. Porches/Decks: - No porches or decks are allowed without written management permission. - All steps must be factory-installed manufacturer steps. Mechanical Repairs: - No mechanical repairs to vehicles are allowed to be performed. - There is a fee of $150 for any type of fluid left on the RV site. Reservations: - You must contact the park directly for long-term reservations. - The maximum length of any reservation can be 6 months, continuously. Subleasing: No subleasing of RVs or Park Models is allowed. Manager Discretion: Managers are allowed discretion to control site appearance and curb appeal beyond rules explicitly stated on this page. The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
