To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - Guests can check-in at 3:00 pm. - Check-out time is 11:00 am. - For individuals requiring a late check-in, please coordinate with the front office. - Early arrivals must request 24 hours. - All guests must sign the resort terms and conditions upon check-in. - In case of reservation cancellations, guests must adhere to the cancellation policy. - Site selections can be made during booking or check-in for a fee of $10, subject to availability. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. - We want all guests to be able to relax and enjoy their stay. - Please be mindful of others at all times. - We ask that guests respect others and refrain from noisy activities. Front Desk - Front desk hours are from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. - The office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays. - Please note that hours are subject to change. Cabins - Shoes should not be placed on bedding, and muddy shoes should be left outside. - Bed linens are for indoor use only, and bath towels are provided exclusively for bathing. - Guests should hang bath mats over the shower for proper drying and refrain from using them as entry door mats. - Any damage or loss of linens will result in replacement charges billed on a per-item basis. - Approval is required from the front office for setting up free-standing awnings in cabin yards. Tent Sites - Tent site reservations are weather permitting, with a maximum stay of four nights. - Tents are not allowed by cabins but may be permitted by RV sites on a case-by-case basis. - Tents should be no larger than 10×10. RV Sites - All RVs must have sleeping accommodations, window coverings, and access to power, water, and sewer hookups. - Window air conditioning units are prohibited. - Discharging wastewater onto the ground is prohibited, and guests will be held responsible for any damages caused by negligence. - Approval is required for setting up free-standing awnings in RV yards, and truck campers must remain attached to the vehicle. - Free-standing awnings should be lowered or collapsed when leaving the resort premises to prevent damage from sudden wind gusts. - Management retains the right to deny admission to RVs that do not meet the resort’s standards. - Sleeping outdoors overnight or in shaded areas with awnings and hammocks is not permitted. Sewer Connections - Sewer connections must be sealed airtight and installed as per regulations. - Attaching a sewer hose without a proper connector directly to the sewer pipe is prohibited. - All sewer hoses must be in good condition and securely connected, and discharging wastewater onto the ground is prohibited. - Sewer connections must be airtight and installed per regulations. Vehicle Policy - A service charge of $200 will be applied to the guest’s account for repairs. - Automobile maintenance or vehicle washing is not permitted at RV sites. - Only licensed drivers may operate motorized vehicles of any kind. - Drivers must come to a complete stop at stop signs and abide by all signs while on the property. - These policies apply to bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters. - All motorized vehicles onsite must be registered with the office and display the given parking permit at all times. - All motor vehicles within the resort must be appropriately licensed, displaying a clear state license plate. Speed Limit - While on the premises, we ask all guests and visitors to adhere to a speed limit of 10 mph. Generators - Generators are only allowed in the overflow area and must be operated between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm in a manner that does not disrupt other guests. - Excessive noise may prompt management to request the guest to turn it off. Lawn - Lawn watering and mowing activities are scheduled during the spring and summer months. - Please plan accordingly. Occupancy Limits - The maximum number of registered guests varies by site. - Guests are individuals who have confirmed and paid for reservations at River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley, while visitors stop by the guests staying at the resort. - Additional guests are $10 per guest per day. - RV sites 1-8, 10-25, and 76-79 have a maximum standard occupancy of four guests. - RV sites 9, 75, 80, and 6 can accommodate six guests. - Partial hookup sites can accommodate four guests. Guests and Visitors - It is essential to emphasize that while on the premises, visitors must be accompanied by a registered guest of River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley. - Guests are responsible for the conduct and actions of their visitors, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all. - Visitors are subject to a $5 parking fee. - Visitors are required not to obstruct or disrupt other guests with their motor vehicles. BBQs and Campfire - Portable propane fire pits are permitted and can be rented from the front office. - Please ensure that grills are of reasonable size, kept under control, and supervised, and that flames are properly extinguished. - All fires must be fully extinguished by 11:00 pm, as management conducts nightly site visits at this time. Reservation Policy - Reservations include one motor vehicle. - Should guests have extra vehicles, we require guests to contact management before their stay to coordinate appropriate parking arrangements, emphasizing that parking on the roadway is not permitted. - A fee of $5 per day is required for additional vehicles. - No parking is permitted in the grass, streets, vacant sites/cabins, or unassigned areas. Playground - The playground operates from sunrise to sunset, with adult supervision required for children. - While we prioritize safety, River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley is not liable for children’s conduct. - Children under 12 on bikes or scooters need adult oversight, while children over 13 must behave responsibly or they will be asked to return to their RV site or cabin. - Please ensure your children are aware of resort rules, including not littering, avoiding shortcuts through RV sites, cabins, or open green spaces, and using paved roads and paths. - We encourage children to play in grassed areas, look both ways before crossing streets, and respect fellow guests. - Adults should remain mindful of their children’s whereabouts at all times. Pet Policy - We want all members of the family to be part of your vacation, even the furry ones! - We love and welcome well-mannered dogs 50 lbs. or less as well as cats to join the family in RV and tent sites. - Pet-friendly cabins are restricted to one well-mannered dog, 50 lbs. or less. - No more than two pets are allowed per RV and tent site. - We require that pets be healthy, not ill (coughing, vomiting, diarrhea) or carrying any susceptible diseases or illnesses, and are up to date on vaccines. - Dogs must remain on a 6′ or shorter leash and in control by the owner outside of RV sites and cabins. - E-leashes or e-collars are not approved leashes. - Guests are not allowed to tie out animals or leave them in a pop-up fence. - All animals must be registered with the front office; cabins require a $25 non-refundable pet fee. - Damage to the resort property will be charged to the card on file. - Dogs and cats should not be loud or disruptive and should never be left unattended. - Pets are not permitted inside buildings or facilities. - Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet as well as any property damage caused by their dog or cat. - Trained service dogs are welcomed to the property and are not subject to policies and restrictions. - A service dog is a specially trained animal that assists individuals with disabilities by performing tasks to aid in their daily activities and mobility. - Any aggressive pets will be asked to leave. Smoking Policy - Smoking, including cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes, and other tobacco-related products, is not allowed indoors, within cabins, facilities, buildings, or communal areas. - Guests are kindly requested to use the designated smoking areas outside the buildings for smoking purposes. - The Utah Department of Health restricts smoking and vaping within 25 feet of a public building. Safety - Guests, including visitors and children, are responsible for the actions of their party. - Guests or visitors may be asked to leave if intoxicated/under the influence, using profanity, or exhibiting rowdy or violent behavior. - All individuals on site are asked not to cut through RV sites or cabins, and guests are encouraged to stay on paved and patched ways. - For safety reasons, swimming in the resort’s ponds or streams is prohibited. - We kindly request guests to avoid feeding or approaching wildlife on the property and to exercise caution while walking by, being mindful of caution signs placed throughout the premises. Fishing - Fishing in Matthew’s pond on site is exclusive to resort guests and visitors, and fishing is catch and release. - A $5 fee applies, and all family members must wear a guest fishing bracelet provided by the front desk. - Fishing gear is available for purchase at the general store. - Additionally, guests and visitors are welcome to indulge in fishing along the Provo River at their own discretion. - A fishing license is required. Site Maintenance - RV sites and cabins are to be maintained in a neat and orderly manner. - Ensure that River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley is clean, well-kept, and free from clutter (any untidy accumulation of items). - Avoid having trash or excessive belongings. - Guests are not allowed to make alterations or install permanent items to RV sites and cabins. - Refrain from hanging items on trees, utility boxes, or utility posts at any time. - Stacking wood at RV sites and cabins is not allowed. - Your adherence to these guidelines contributes to a tidy and enjoyable environment for all guests. Trash Policy - Trash must be disposed of nightly. - The area is home to wildlife that looks for trash and food. - Please use the trash receptacles throughout the resort. - The commercial dumpsters are in the parking lot east of the general store. Indemnity - Guests staying at River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley take full responsibility for any damage and/or breakages incurred during their stay. - River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley takes no responsibility for any lost or stolen items from accommodations or vehicles and suggests that guests secure and lock their accommodations and/or motor vehicles when unoccupied. - Upon departure, any key or rental deposits paid for are refunded to guests, provided the keys and/or hired items are returned in the same condition upon check-out. - By signing the terms and conditions/policies, I/we understand and agree to these conditions and the rules of stay. - Guests must report all injuries that occur on-site to the front office on the day of the incident. Emergency - In Case of an Emergency, Call 911. Campground Disclaimer - We uphold the importance of maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all recreation areas. - Any damage or loss of River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley property or equipment, including recreational areas, the clubhouse, and all other resort locations, will incur a fine. - In adherence to safety protocols, only legally licensed firearms are permitted on-site, and discharge of a firearm is prohibited. - Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the resort premises. - Furthermore, solicitation within the resort grounds is prohibited. - Should you encounter any solicitors, we kindly ask you to promptly inform the front desk. - River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss to either person or property. - River’s Edge Resort at Heber Valley, its owners, and its management absolves itself from any and all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, weather, acts of God, property damage, accident, or any other cause.

All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
