Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
BASE RATES: - Base rates include up to 2 licensed vehicles (truck campers will count as another vehicle if removed from the bed of the truck) and a maximum of 8 people. - Additional vehicles are an additional fee but are only allowed at the site or in the overflow parking area if space allows. CHECK-IN is 2 pm to 9:30 pm: - Check-in packets are available after 2 pm on the day of your arrival inside the breezeway of the store. - The last name on the reservation will be displayed on the packet, it will have information on how to get to your site, as well as the bathroom and Wi-Fi codes. - As a courtesy to guests already in the park, check-in time ends at 9:30 pm. CHECK-OUT is 12:00 pm. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. RV RENTAL DELIVERIES: - Guests having third-party delivery of an RV to a site must provide parks staff with contact information for the rental company upon check-in. RV SITE RESTRICTIONS: - All RV sites must have an RV (Recreational Vehicle) present at the time of check-in. - RVs are classified as Motor Homes, 5th Wheels, Travel Trailers, Tent Trailers, Truck Campers, and Conversion Vans. - A truck and a camper become two separate vehicles if the camper is removed from the truck's bed. - All vehicles must remain on the gravel and park in designated areas. Do not park off the gravel at your site or on the road. TENT SITE RESTRICTIONS: - Tents are allowed at sites with tent areas or on the gravel pad. - Do not put-up tents in other places not designated for tents. SITE CHOICES: - Staff will make every effort to make sure the assigned site is available upon arrival; however, site assignments are not guaranteed. - All site changes must be approved and processed by Reservation Staff prior to any changes. POLICIES and POLICY ENFORCEMENT: - We reserve the right to ask people to leave the premises for noncompliance with any of our rules. If asked to leave, refunds will not be issued. - There are no exceptions to these rules. - The first violation of these rules can result in eviction from the RV Park with No Refund. ALL VISITORS must check in and get a check-in packet to enter the park. As a courtesy to guests already in the park, check-in time ends at 9:30 pm. QUIET HOURS are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. - All outdoor music, video, and loud conversations must be concluded by 11:00 pm. - Noise complaints may result in eviction. PLEASE use a WATER PRESSURE REGULATOR at your site due to HIGH WATER PRESSURE, they’re available in the store. SPEED LIMIT - 5 mph. Slow Down! ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT SPEED BUMPS! CHILDREN UNDER 13 must be always kept in your view. - No unattended children in the clubhouse. - PLEASE BE AWARE, there are many water hazards in the park. PETS: - All pets must be leashed. - Do not leave dogs unattended either inside or outside your RV. - Please pick up pet waste immediately. - Bags are provided in the store, at the dog park, and in restrooms. CAMPFIRES: - When no burn ban is in place, propane fires, or wood fires are allowed in campsites in RAISED FIRE PITS ONLY. - Always use caution, and be attentive to fires, we are in a very vulnerable forest. - When Burn Ban is in place only propane fires are allowed. FISHING: - Fishing licenses are available at Farm and Home in town. - The Yakima River is catch-and-release only. - Hanson Pond is 1 mile east of us and has free fishing for kids up to age 15 and for disabled adults with a modified license. - There is also good shore fishing at exit 74 Lavender Lake. DUMP STATION is available to park guests only and not available to the public. OUR SEPTIC SYSTEM is very fragile: - Please do not flush feminine hygiene products, diapers, paper towels or anything that shouldn’t be flushed! - Please do not put anything in your RV Tank that will eventually end up in the septic system like rubber gloves or steak bones (true story). THANK YOU! GREY WATER: - Do not empty gray water onto the ground. - Use the dump station. CLUBHOUSE is available for use by reservation only. TV CABLE sites 11-50: - Once you’ve connected your cable, go to settings on your TV. - Set input to “Cable”. - Auto scan for local channels (takes several minutes). - If done correctly, your TV should go automatically to a TV station. - Sometimes you have to re-scan the channels a couple of times. - Local High-Definition channels are 54.1, 54.2, and so on to 58.X. ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and Root. - The channel Guide is Channel 3. Wi-Fi: - We offer free, high-speed Wi-Fi in most areas of the park. - Passwords are located on the front of your map in the bottom corner. DO NOT WASH OR REPAIR vehicles or RVs in the park, and do not put-up clotheslines or ropes. LOSS and DAMAGE of PERSONAL PROPERTY: - Whispering Pines RV Park is not responsible for loss incurred due to damage or theft during your stay. - Please secure all property whenever leaving the site. CONDUCT: - Actions by any person (as determined by Park Employees) of any nature that may be dangerous, create a health and safety problem or disturbs others are not permitted which includes but is not limited to, any act involving a weapon, any type of perceived domestic violence, disturbing or excessive noise, intoxication, underage substance abuse, threatening, fighting, immoral or illegal conduct, profanity, or abusive language or conduct is not permitted and will be referred to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office. - Any persons engaged in any of these activities may be evicted from Whispering Pines RV Park. MARIJUANA: - It is unlawful to open a package containing marijuana or to use any products containing marijuana in view of the general public, – RCW 69.50.445. ALCOHOL is allowed within your designated campsite of campers at least 21 years of age. - Sites with MINORS in possession of alcohol will be reported to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s department. TOWING: - Vehicles parked in any location other than the vehicles registered campsite or designated paid parking spot, may be towed at the owner’s expense. - This includes other empty campsites, in front of restroom buildings, in the roadway or off designated parking areas. WATERING: - Grass around the pond and around sites 46 to 50 will be watered using pop-up sprinklers between 12-5 am. - Any interference with inground sprinkler systems may result in eviction. - Tents set up during this time are at risk and we advise that you do not leave any items that you do not want to get wet outside at any time. - We will not be held liable for damaged property. Also, we manually water during the day and may ask you to move your belongings. LINES & NETS: - Trees, fences, and utility posts must be kept free of all ropes, lines, hammocks, or pet leashes. - Additionally, game nets must be taken down at dusk. PROHIBITED VEHICLES: – Unauthorized vehicles, including but not limited to certain golf carts, go-karts, pocket-bikes or ORVs, which are not licensed for operation on the streets and highways of the State of Washington cannot be operated within the RV Park. ADDITIONAL VEHICLE: - Most sites can support 1 RV and 2 vehicles. More vehicles may require an additional fee.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
