Quiet Hours - Quiet Hours are 10 PM to 8 AM. - Disturbing noises, loud vehicles, outside cooking, voices louder than a whisper, bright lights, or anything else that disrupts is prohibited during this time. Children - All unaccompanied minors must be on their campsite or inside their suite and all visitors not staying overnight must depart by 10 PM. Campground Maintenance - Take care of our beautiful trees & surroundings. - Do not drive in nails, mutilate, or cut down vegetation. - Minimal hammocks, climbing nets, and/or clotheslines are acceptable within your own campsite if they do not harm anything or disrupt others' enjoyment of the campground. Behavior - Be kind to our wildlife and always view from a safe distance. - Do not tempt animals by leaving out food, trash, or other attractants. - We are guests in their habitat, so do not approach, touch, or feed anything that is not your family... especially the golfers! - Always stay on marked roadways & paths. - Respect other guests and do not cross through campsites. Generators - Generators may not be used unless there is a power outage. Vehicle - Other vehicle engines or motors may not idle for more than 5 minutes. Social Events - Events with family and friends can be fun if they don't get too loud or disrupt others' enjoyment of the resort. - Any gatherings of more than 12 people must be pre-approved by resort management. - Space may be available for reservation in the lodge events hall for such gatherings. Mail - Occasional packages and important mail may be scheduled for delivery no sooner than 10 days before your arrival date. - It must be clearly labeled with Attn campground and the primary guest name listed on your reservation. - Note: the USPS does not allow forwarding from our business address nor will we forward or re-deliver items after checkout. We take no responsibility for late or misdelivered mail, so plan accordingly. Site - Up to 6 registered guests are allowed per campsite and must be named at the time of check-in. - In addition to the primary camping unit, one sleeping or dining tent is permitted (if space allows). - Switching from your designated campsite or using space and/or service connections beyond your own campsite is not allowed without express permission. - Lawn carpets or ground covers are not permitted for more than 3 consecutive days within a 10-day period. - Full-season guests may be exempt with express permission from the resort management. - Campsite amenities include a fire ring, a picnic table, water, and a 20A electric hookup. Guest Suite - During especially wet/muddy/snowy weather, please remove shoes or boots upon entering the guest suite. - More details on TV, appliance and AC/Heat operation, checkout procedures, etc. will be provided within your guest suite (or ahead of time upon request). - Note: you may be billed for excess cleaning costs beyond changing linens, light cleaning, and sanitizing of the guest suite. - A $250 fee will also apply for smoking inside, unapproved parties, or pets. Trash - Trash cans are in the bathroom(s) and kitchen. - Extra bags are under the sink (or let us know if you need more). If the trash fills during your stay, please combine it into a kitchen bag, tie it closed, set it just outside, and promptly message us. We'll be glad to pick it up. - All beverage bottles & cans (non-dairy) purchased in Maine may be returned to receive a deposit from the redemption center of your choice. Otherwise, please lightly rinse each bottle or can, collect them in the designated kitchen bin, and we will recycle them for you. Water and Waste Water - Maine state law requires a back-flow prevention valve at all campsite water faucets to prevent potential contamination of our water supply. -The valve will not impede your water pressure. - Keep it in place when connecting your water hose and leave it behind when you depart. - Dumping of grey water (dish or bath water), or black water (sewage) onto the ground is against the law. - Ensure you are properly connected to the sewer hookup without any leaks. - Otherwise, use your RV or external collection tanks and the two campground dump stations. - Flush only septic-safe toilet paper and natural waste into our sensitive sewer system. Use trash bins for feminine products, paper towels, etc. - Please, no matter what the label says, no wipes are flushable. Smoking - Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside of (or within 30 feet around) the lodge, clubhouse, bathhouse, laundry, pool area, playground, recreation areas, or wherever children are gathered. - Cigarette and cigar butts, chewing tobacco spit, or other tobacco debris is unhealthy for animals & children, and often leaves an unsightly mess that does not easily break down. - Deposit all butts & debris into your own containers or in designated ashtrays located around our buildings. - Once fully extinguished, throw your ash containers into the campground garbage bins. - When smoking, please respect the wishes of those around you. How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
