To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
NOTE: While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. AGE REQUIREMENT - Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a site or accommodation. RATES + PAYMENTS - Rates are subject to change without notice. - Full payment is required at the time of booking and is payable by credit card. By providing a credit card number, you are giving authorization for us to bill your credit card for the full amount, including any costs accrued while at the property, and outstanding balances not paid at the time of departure. DAMAGES + FEES - If there is damage, missing or stolen items, or excessive cleaning required, the card on file will be charged accordingly. LATE CHECK OUT - Cabins - Check-out time is 11 am. - A late check-out may be available by request and may be an additional fee. Please inquire with the Front Desk in advance. EARLY DEPARTURES - We do not provide refunds or credits for early departures. RESERVATIONS: RV Sites + Primitive Accommodations - RV Regulations: -- RVs must be 15 years or newer, in excellent condition and RVIA certified. -- Each RV is subject to management approval. -- Please contact the resort directly if you have any questions. -- No more than one RV is allowed per site. Occupancy: - All RV rates include 4 people per site. - Each additional person age 6 and older are subject to an additional fee of $5 per person, per day. - A maximum of 6 guests is allowed. Pets: - Maximum of (3) well-behaved dogs allowed in RV sites. - Sorry, no dog fencing or pet crates are allowed. - Pet rules must be followed and apply to all pet types. Sites: - One RV or tent per site. CHECK-IN: Check-in time is 1 pm. RESERVATIONS: CABINS - Pets: Maximum of (2) well-behaved dogs allowed in pet-friendly accommodations (Wild West) only. Please alert the resort in advance if you will be traveling with a pet. There is a $30 per pet / per stay pet fee. Sorry, no dog fencing or pet crates are allowed. Pet rules must be followed and apply to all pet types. - Vehicles: RVs, boats, trailers, etc. may not be parked at the accommodation. Please inquire with the Front Desk for alternate parking areas, subject to an additional fee. - Occupancy: Cabin rates are inclusive of the maximum occupancy for the specific unit. The Denali Lodge is for guests 21 and over only. - CHECK-IN: Accommodations check-in time is 4 pm. RULES & REGULATIONS - Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome booklet outlining all of the resort policies. Please be familiar with these once here and reach out to our team with any questions. Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of the aforementioned Rules and Regulations. THE FINE PRINT - By placing a reservation, you agree to read and abide by all resort policies as they are presented herein and upon arrival to the resort. - There is a $5.00 non-refundable online booking fee per reservation. To make the Campers’ Paradise experience a delight for all our guests, please follow these policies and simple rules. - Boat launching - Help us keep beautiful Lake Belle Taine free of aquatic invasive species (AIS)! We support the Department of Natural Resource’s efforts to ensure these species don’t hitchhike on watercraft and take up residence in our lake. - Please launch your fishing boat, personal watercraft, sailboat, etc. at the Nevis public dock. Inspectors, there will check your watercraft before it’s put in the water. Our office staff has information about inspection hours. - If you suspect your watercraft may be contaminated, there's a FREE watercraft decontamination service at 812 Henrietta Avenue South in Park Rapids. Call ahead to make an appointment at (218) 252-6738. Season - Campers’ Paradise is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Check-in/Check-out Times Campsites - Check-in: 1 p.m. - Check-out: 11 a.m. Camping Cabins - Check-in: 4 p.m. - Check-out: 11 a.m. Office Hours - Campers' Paradise is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Extended weekend hours Sat., June 26 - Sun. Aug. 29 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. For your convenience, you’ll find a variety of supplies and rentals at the office including: - Selection of dry goods (fixings for s'mores, syrup, coffee, salt & pepper, paper plates, napkins, etc.) - Selection of toiletries (sunscreen, toothpaste, etc.) - Selection of refrigerated groceries & specialty beverages (hot dogs, juice, eggs, butter, etc.) - Ice cream treats & candy - Firewood - Three 14-foot fishing boats with 6-horsepower outboard motors - Two 16-foot fishing boats with 15-horsepower outboard motors - Outboard motor and vehicle gasoline - Pontoon boat - Canoes - Kayaks - Standing paddleboards - Bait - Ice (cubes) Lodge Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Campground Courtesy For our complete Campers' Paradise Code of Conduct - Quiet hours are 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. - No visitors after 9 p.m. - Please leave your horses, motorbikes, golf carts, and ATVs home. - Protect our Island’s forest! Cutting firewood or standing trees is not allowed and is subject to a fine. To combat the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, please do not bring your own firewood to the Island. Firewood is available at the office. - Our winding Island roads are a delight for walkers, parents with strollers, bicyclists, and kids, kids, kids. So please respect our low-speed limits for all motor vehicles and watch for pedestrians. - Please follow Minnesota’s boating and personal watercraft regulations. - Campers’ Paradise prides itself on providing a fun and relaxing family atmosphere. We reserve the right to request that unruly groups or individuals leave the Island without a refund. How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
