An entire section of the campground (K Section) has been closed for approximately 6 years for "renovations". The employees live full-time in all the good sites. Half of the campsites in the other sections are closed because of the park's faulty electrical system. If you manage to find a site with working power then you're bombarded with the smell of raw sewage constantly coming from the park's sewer system. Not to mention all the weeds growing everywhere and the trash blowing around. You'll have... Read More

We have been going here for many years, each year it gets worse than the year before. It has always been mismanaged by 1000 trails, they should sell it to someone that will bring it back to it's glory years when everything in the park worked as it was suppose to. I was so upset with the decline in the condition back when I visited on Easter weekend 2015 that I contacted them with my true feelings. I was contacted by e-mail from one of their Admin. assistants telling me about their great 2 year plan... Read More

I was so upset with the decline in the condition back when I visited on Easter weekend 2015 that I contacted them with my true feelings. I was contacted by e-mail from one of their Admin. assistants telling me about their great 2 year plan to upgrade each site to 50 amp going section by section. Well we went on Easter weekend again 2019, 4 years later and not only have they not upgraded a single site to 50 amp, they now have 100 or more sites that had 30 amp electric in 2015, that do not have any electric now. Section B according to there park map has 170 RV sites, only 58 of those 170 have 50 amp service, 88 of them do not have any electric whatsoever, but they did in the past. Section C, no 50 amp at all 15 with no electric at all. Section K, no 50 amp at all, 62 sites with no electric at all. Section M, no 50 amp. Section N, No 50 amp, 20 sites with no electric at all. Section Q, no 50 amp, 33 sites no electric at all. Oh, forgot section A and P, no 50 amp. Keep in mind they only have sections A, B, C, K, M, N, Q, AND P. You figure someone would label them A thru H to eliminate confusion. So bottom line, they have not added a single 50 amp site since the e-mail in 2015 but eliminated electric from 218 sites in that time. GREAT management!!!!! On top of the electric issues, the common areas are a total mess, the dump site by area B is a joke and not maintained. They I guess had some Easter activities, but was never informed in person or by pamphlet when I checked in on Thursday. I actually talked to a person, the one time I saw someone at the gate, I asked what the managers name was so I could contact them, and get this, they do not currently have a manager. I am sadly done with this Easter tradition.

Entire grounds were littered with trash. Bathrooms were filthy, trash overflowing. Not enough restrooms for number of sites. There is a train that runs through the property at least 4 times between 5 and 8am. Trees and shrubs are overgrown and unkept. Would not return.
