Palm Springs/Joshua Tree KOA is the 91st stop for us and we stayed 4 nights for our visit to Joshua Tree. Hats off to the staff for sending a message out a few weeks prior to arrival indicating some of the amenities would be closed for maintenance offering reschedule or cancellation. Was not an issue for us. The two women at check in were very personable and the process was quick. The main roads of the park are paved with groomed gravel pads – leveled first time. Was not an issue for us. The two women at check in were very personable and the process was quick. The main roads of the park are paved with groomed gravel pads – leveled first time. The sites are well laid out with the good spacing (not common for KOAs) and the views of the surrounding mountains are great, especially at sunrise and sunset. The utilities were well-placed and worked fine and overall park was clean and well-maintained. There are two small dog parks near the office and there was a third very large one near the front of the park for off leash fun. Grocery store is less than 10 minutes away.In terms of connectivity (midday): Verizon 99.3 down/37.5 up T-Mobile 18.8 down/1.58 up WiFi 3.8 down/1.2 up (but inconsistent across the day and may not be able to connect at times to do basic email and web surfing). Would stay here again if in the area.
