We just got home from our first "official" camping trip. The place was beautiful. Our space was between two ponds filled with ducks and geese. The staff was very friendly and directed me with my first backing up session. It was our first time backing in. It appears to be mostly long term guests, but our neighbors were friendly. Our spot did not have the sewer hook up, but they came around with their truck and pumped our tanks. Very close to wine tasting in Temecula.
A really nice location, well kept, and the office staff were very good. The owner is there on site and seems to really care about his tenants. But that's the key word...Tenants. This is a mobile home park environment filled with RV's and you end up with more of a mobile home neighborhood feel, as it is a very high percentage of permanent or long term residents. The residents seemed protective and not very welcoming, many were darn right grumpy. And because it's a permanent park the sites are... Read More

The residents seemed protective and not very welcoming, many were darn right grumpy. And because it's a permanent park the sites are cluttered and the early morning noise and traffic did not lend itself to sleeping in. The maintenance staff are a bit concerning as they are constantly "flying" through the park at high speed, consistently driving around speed bumps so as to not disrupt their speed, one fellow in particular was very dangerous. I had great concerns for all the young kids playing.
Internet is extra $ and it's terrible, and most cell signals were awful. Cable tv was very basic.
The mini mart was poorly stocked. As an example the mayo was 3 months past its expiration, when I questioned the clerk he just shrugged.
The baths are nice and laundry clean and reasonably priced. And although there are limited choices for Rv parks in S.D. county, I would not return.
