Everything was perfect except slow internet. But it was clean, nice staff we always went back for new Years Eve. Nice location, excellent weather and very well maintained:
Just spent four nights here on our way to Arizona. Great little park. Great Pool, and facilities. The employees were beyond helpful and friendly. They appeared on the spot if you needed them. Brought ice to our campsite, even though we said we would come get it. Felt super safe here, as they have a coded gate entrance. We'll be back........
We just spent 7 nights at Shadow Hills with two other friends with R.V.'s. This park is so nice and the people are so friendly. Love the pool, the whole grounds are spotless, everything attended to. This is our 5th visit to Shadow Hills and in all our travels it is one of our very favorites. The location is near everything we like to do and the the owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Five star all the way.
This is a nice park for people looking for something with nice grassy lots and dog friendly owners. Pretty pond setting and friendly ducks that love to be fed. They also offer long term rates and "storage" rates if you want to be able to park your vehicle for an extended time with the ability to have electricity hooked up.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I really like the sites, as they have privacy hedges in between. There are many paved sites and some grass site options. The pool is clean and well kept. It was late spring in the desert so there was plenty of availability, and the weather was beautiful. The price was very reasonable. It is easily accessible and close to many conveniences.
We recently stayed here for Stagecoach 2019 and I must say this facility goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating. The extra activities that were provided (pool side concerts and DJ - food etc) specifically for Stagecoach were at times more enjoyable than the festival itself. I have never been treated so well at an RV park (even though we lost power mid-vacation, they provided us with a free generator and gas!) and am extremely... Read More

I have never been treated so well at an RV park (even though we lost power mid-vacation, they provided us with a free generator and gas!) and am extremely happy I stayed here. I know that our accommodations far exceeded even those staying at a resort - they even put sunblock on you at the pool! I can only imagine that a typical non-event type of stay would be stellar here. I would highly recommend to anyone and will be back for sure.

Very nice park in an excellent location. Park is not new, but is well maintained, with very nice pool, laundry, and restroom facilities. I cannot say enough good things about the Staff. They are the best. We had a medical emergency at the end of our stay, which caused us to delay our departure. They went way above and beyond to accomodate us, in spite of being sold out for Coachella Music Fest. We are extremely grateful for their concern and assistance. We enjoyed our one night stay. It was clean and quiet. The pool is really nice for exercising or swimming laps.
They're right off the freeway, easy to get to but I passed it as the Lighted entrance to the community across the street (also named Shadow Hills) caught my attention and I noticed the RV resort too late and had to make a U-turn down the street in the High School Parking lot. So, the ONLY thing I suggest they do is to put lights on the sign. Staff is extra helpful. I came in the wrong driveway late at night and they opened the exit gate for me. The wind came up while we were away and they tied down my awning for me.
Showers come with soap, shampoo, cream rinse, and razors... Nice touch.
Grass camping was comfortable and roomy, but since they recently had a lot of rains, the leveling settled a bit. Was warned about "fire ants" but we didn't experience any.
We did some four-wheeling in the desert and had a ball. Especially since the recent rains provided a rare "super bloom". Yes we would go back.
If you're there over a weekend, be sure to visit the giant flea market over at the community college.

This park is old and outdated and has a number of problems. We reserved a lot last summer and paid a deposit and when we arrived the lot was taken and they had to assign us another RV lot that was not near as big or nice. This is in their long contract. We were forced to accept a substandard lot in that it was too small for our 37 foot class A RV. When we saw a bigger lot available and asked to move the staff person assigned a lot that did not have 50 AMP service. We had to move the following day.... Read More

When we saw a bigger lot available and asked to move the staff person assigned a lot that did not have 50 AMP service. We had to move the following day. The neighbors said they keep big rigs in there for the past two years. The WiFi and the cable are horribly slow if they work at all and no cable for RVs backing up to Jefferson Street. Toilets that do not flush properly. Cracking concrete everywhere. The sprinklers flood some of the patios. Theft of bikes while we were there at park for a month...hoisted over the fence we heard and no night security. The office staff are certainly friendly but are incompetent at best. RV Park is poorly managed. We were charged for propane and we do not have propane on our new RV. The absentee owners are rarely on sight. They charge a premium price for a sub-standard experience. No activities except a nice hot tub and pool. The park's high ratings on Good Sam website is hard to understand.

NOT DOG FRIENDLY. I was told after my dog pooped in front of an employee that the owner is going to start fining people $25 who allow their dogs to poop outside the dog parks. I said it may be difficult to get them there before hand. Doesn't matter. Walk briskly I was told, I do. That is fine for me, but tell that to someone with a walker and a dog. The owner of the park should be going after the people who don't pick up their poop. There is poop everywhere, People dont pick up their poop in the... Read More

This is just another dumb rule made by an enlightened management.

Thouroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay. Staff is extremely courteous and responsive. Facilities were clean, orderly and the general atmosphere was very friendly. All the guests also seem to be outgoing, friendly and helpful. We had an issue with hooking-up the motorhome, and it was promptly and courteously taken care of. We found this experience more satisfying and pleasant than some of the other high-end (and expensive) parks. We plan to return next year.
Pros: well kept, everything is clean, bathrooms immaculate, folks at the office friendly as can be, good location to explore the Coachella Valley. Nice two section dog park. Cons: doesn't meet advertised amenities: WiFi did not work for the whole week we were there, comes on for 15 sec, then goes off, office said they were having problems for a long time and it was being worked on. We were 100 ft from the office and could never use it. The pool may be heated, but not to a temperature a human could... Read More

The jacuzzi was nice and warm and bubbly. They are no picnic tables at many sites although they advertise each site has one (we did not ask about it as it was too cold to sit outside for us, although others did).

For $71 a picnic table would have been nice. Had to use the tailgate of my pickup to cook on.
We love this place! We've stayed here twice and plan to stay again in the near future. Centrally located to lots of activities and restaurants. Clean bathrooms with lots of amenities. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help.
Very clean resort. Excellent tv cable selection.
Friendly staff nice facility
This is a wonderful facility. We have stayed here several times and have always been pleased. The facility is super clean. The staff is very friendly and the price is reasonable. We will always stay here whenever in the area. Thanks to all of you for making us feel welcome
We have stayed at this facility for differing periods of time for the past 8 years. The front end staff have always been efficient and friendly. The restrooms and laundry very clean. The past 3 times we have been sited at the south wall. Overall we have found that the facility has become tired. The planters along the south boundary have become home to weeds and litter. Work camper trailers and sites were visually unappealing. The price per night is representative of a 5 star facility which currently... Read More

Nice facilities and pleasant staff. Tight spaces. Easy on/off access.
What a cute campground!! Everyone was so friendly - from the staff to the other guests. The owners really go out of their way to add nice touches to make you feel welcome - from coffee with flavored creamer in the morning to personal care items in the bathrooms! I can't wait to return (wish I could have stayed longer!)
We had a short stay but loved the place. Upon arrival in the office we were greeted by the office staff, I mean the whole office staff. They were wonderful and walked us thought our stay with offerings of help in anyway. The people who stay here for extended time are wonderful too. Made some great friends. I would definitely recommend this RV resort to anyone.
The phone and check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites had a tall shrub on each side, so one had the feeling of separation. My complaint and the reason for "except for . . . " was the WiFi. I would prefer NO WiFi to the claim of WiFi at each site. The login process was difficult because the connection was so poor, I often couldn't login. After many "drops" and failures, I walked to the office with computer In tow. The young man that maintained the WiFi was there. Sorry to say, all... Read More

Sorry to say, all I got were excuses on why it didn't work - "we are at capacity". Yes, the rate I paid for my space was the IN SEASON rate, high enough that I should expect all things to work. Five years ago, one could expect WiFi problems. But, today, the problem is solvable.

Shadows hills staff got the message. I could not feel more welcome. My wife, I and our dog are just overnighting but they gave us agreatull through. Sites are concrete slab separates by well maintained grass. They collect your trash daily and recycle. Provide poop bags for your dog. Wi-Fi works.lead me to my site and ran that fresh cookies back to me when they came out of the oven.
This is a small RV park with quiet, roomy sites. Good cable tv, Internet. Had enclosed dog park which was good. Nice pool.
Nice looking, clean, easy access from freeway, level concrete pads to park on, friendly, helpful staff, quick, easy check-in. BUT -- not especially big rig friendly. Took two people to 'shoehorn' our 43-ft coach into our assigned spot. And the next morning, our neighbor was not at all happy about needing to move his truck so we could pull out. Given the tight spaces, we'd probably not stay there again...however if your RV is under 40-ft this would be a nice place to spend some time.
One of our best visits ever. Staff was excellent, facilities were beautiful and location was so easy to access the highways and local markets.
Great place, great staff, it was a wonderful experience and we will surely be back. They even had a nice dog park for our little Yorkshire Pickles and a bag of treats in the welcome packet. Their pool was very nice, the bathrooms were extremely clean and even had perfume and toothpaste along with all kinds of other bathroom goodies with no charge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
