Large campground with a variety of sites from primitive to full hookups. Not busy at all when we visited on a weekend in May. Enough trees to provide some shade on the outer loops, the inner loop was much more exposed but had pullthru's. We had a grassy site on the outer loop that was actually quite level. Restrooms are dated and not particularly clean. Some random people walking around scavenging from trash cans etc., but we didn't have any problems. We couldn't find the camp host in the office... A part of the Monterey County park system. It is a beautiful park, lots of trees and only a few full hook-up sites, only 30 amp. Sites can be narrow but are large enough for a table and outdoor activity. There is no wifi and getting satellite reception is all but impossible except in some sites that do not have sewer available. Lots of groups use the CG for rallies as they do have good club facilities. During the season (May to Nov?) is very expensive for a park with no pool, etc. Several... Read More
