.False advertising and over rated We booked for a week at this place. was really looking forward to it. We made the "luxury" reservations and given a snapshot of what our space would look like. When we got to our "luxury" space...it was located on the end right next to a dumpster, looking stratight towards to freeway traffic and no privacy...no bushes or shade. When we got to our "luxury" space...it was located on the end right next to a dumpster, looking stratight towards to freeway traffic and no privacy...no bushes or shade. With this in mind....the property is located in between freeway and major road...so there is no escaping any traffic noise. My guess is: 95% of the spaces are for full timers...but that is just my guess. I will say...that the people were very very nice, very respectful of each other, the children were well disciplined and the grounds were kept very well with the exception of the freeway lane...no trees to buffer out any noise or dirt from the freeway. and very little shade. WiFi was free for a couple of hours..then you have to pay. So...we used our cell phones instead to get some work done. We inquired about our Good Sam Discount...she said it was applied...upon looking at bill...we did not get our discount. I give the rating of 2 because I thought the management heard our concerns about our pictures that we were given as our "Luxury" site and they offered us the "Presidential Site" for a week. It was a nice setup...BUT...the Presidential site is right next to the entrance gate facing the main street so we got the constant gate opening and closing, and there was absolutely NO privacy. New bushes were planted...but not tall enough yet to serve a purpose. All in all...I'm still sad that our week was very disappointing...too much money lost to inaccurate marketing scheme. I think this place could do better if they invest in more treescaping along all the major freeway curbings...and offer more tree/bushes between sites. They have a ways to go...but I think they are the right track for something.

The staff was nice, the park was relatively clean, it's right next to the San Diego Trolley, and that's about the extent of the nice things I can say. First of all - you are literally a stone's throw away from Interstate 8 - the traffic noise is so loud, it's difficult to enjoy yourself sitting outside your rig. Second, the sites are so incredibly tight and cramped, it was a miracle that we were able to pull our rig in safely. Originally, we were supposed to be in site 116A, which is literally... Read More

We were moved to a different site which was marginally better. We will not stay here again.

This place is amazing! I stayed here for six months and loved it. The staff are really nice and always willing to help you out in any way they can. The facilities are constantly being cleaned and the pool is nice. The campground itself looks great and is located in an excellent location right on the 8. It is a little pricey, not as much as others, however, you pay for quality and location.

If you are coming to see the sites of San Diego this place is a 10 the green line stops right next to the park and it will take you just about anyplace for a very low fee. if you are coming to layout and relax this may not be the place for you as it is right next to a very busy freeway. the park has not one picnic table so bring your own. I would definitely go back we enjoyed our time here

Reps in the office were very friendly. Knowledgeable of the area. Check in process was really fast. Restrooms super clean! Definitely we will be returning to stay at this location.

Somewhat disappointed. Site looks very nice, and it was very quiet. Easy to find, and easy to check in and out even though office was closed when we came in and went out. Reason for my low rating is the lack of, or poor signs. When I made the reservation, I told them I was towing a car and wouldn't be able to back up. I missed the spot the first time, and trying to find my way back, I ended up in a dead end road. There were no signs anywhere advising me of this dead end road, and no directions on... Read More

There were no signs anywhere advising me of this dead end road, and no directions on how to avoid this situation. So, at 9 pm, I had to unload the car from the dolly, unhook the dolly from the RV, back up the RV until I could find a place to turn around, back up the RV to the dolly and hook it back up. I eventually I found the exit gate and went out and came back in and got into my spot. Next morning, I pull out of the spot and see a gate at the end of the row. I drive up to it, only to discover it's got a lock, and there's no way to turn. Once again, I had to get everything unhooked, get the RV turned around, hook up again, and eventually got going. OBTW, office was closed at 7:30 am, so we couldn't get anyone to unlock gate. How to make it better? Put plenty of large signs warning campers that you're headed into a dead end road; put them before you're in a position where you have to back out! Provide exits that allow you to go from row to row without having to back up. If the traveler says he can't back up, don't offer a site where the only way out is to have to go backwards. Sorry for the bad review, but I had a terrible time and I think it could be avoided with some simple additions/corrections

Stayed here for three days at the end of July, very nice park! Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Only complaint was WiFi, had lot of trouble with the WiFi. Also a bit overpriced.
