This is an older park owned and run by the City of Lompoc. It is well maintained with a good road and the spaces are solid, not gravel. Each space has full hook-ups with shared posts at every other space, so one of you has to pass your cable etc under your rig. All the spaces run down one side of the road which gives each space a great view of the fields. There were flowers in full bloom when I was there. A clear unobstructed view. Most of the spaces have nice trees giving lots of shade.... Read More

This facility is run by the City of Lompoc. Prior to paying you select which site you want. Payment has 2 methods (1) CASH in an envelope put in a metal post. (2) Call the city (805) 845-8034 and they will take your CC information along with the space number you have picked. If you book in advance you call the office when you get there with the space number. Very friendly city staff and helpful with the process.
I was there with a 36ft Motor-Home and I had plenty of room for my slide-out and room to put my toad in front, off the road. There is a grassy space along with a table & benches and a fire pit. Wood fires are okay but must be in the fire-pit. Firewood is available from the camp Host at the entrance to the park.
The parks and all the spaces back onto the river, there is a lot of bushes and small trees blocking most of the river view.
This is a good over-night or nice for longer stay with trips into town.

A convenient location in the Lompoc area. Nothing fancy here, just a simple place to park overnight. Self-register and pay the 'iron ranger.' Hook-ups, picnic table and fire ring, but no cable or wi-fi. Women's bathroom had 2 stalls and the shower is only open certain hours. RV park and pet area are adjacent to a large community picnic park with a lake. BMX track wasn't open while we were there. Easy access to town and some local attractions. Close to La Purisima Mission and the Wine Ghetto.
