This park is located in a great location for Mammoth, but most of the sites in the park are only 30amp with water and no sewer and are very exposed to the roads and surrounding businesses. The sites are not very large and there were constantly cars parked in the road making it difficult to get the RV in and out. It felt a bit like camping in a parking lot.
We made reservations 8 months ago. We requested 50 amp hookups. We are in a 30 amp site with no sewer hookups. The sites are actually in a parking. We have a group of five rigs and we all made our reservations back in November. We were all promised full hook ups. We are all spread around the parking lot. This is a total ripoff.
This park is nothing more than a paved parking lot with lots of trees. It is extremely tight and the spaces are not big enough for a vehicle and your rig. This causes people to park in the road which makes it nearly impassable. The restrooms were dirty. Hair in the bottom of the showers in every stall. The WiFi worked well. The cable hookup did not work at all, although my neighbors did. Overall, keep driving. There are better choices.
This is a large RV park conveniently located near the intersection of Main St. and Old Mammoth Road. This is one of the only commercial parks in Mammoth so they can command somewhat premium pricing particularly in the summer. There are lots of public campgrounds but they generally don't accept reservations and don't have hook ups. The mature pine trees offer the opportunity for shade at least for part of the day. The section we were in was asphalt organized like a large parking lot with RV's... Read More

The section we were in was asphalt organized like a large parking lot with RV's lined up side by side. We had water, cable, 30amp electric and fairly good WiFi. The bathrooms are reasonably clean and well maintained. Including tax we paid $51.30 per night.

Great location in Mammoth Lakes, sites and roads are gravel/dirt so a little dusty. Nice bike trail into town where there are lots of good restaurants. I'd stay here again.
Nice quiet stay, staff very helpful, was a nice 12 day stay we willreturn
We originally planned on only staying a couple of days while we visited the Yosemite area, but the area and the campground were so nice that we asked to stay another night. We had to move to a different spot, but the staff was very helpful. It is a popular city and campground, and if I cannot wait to visit again.
We LOVE this park and make it a point to visit a couple times a year. Other RVers ding em because the campsites are "too dirty" but, hey, IT'S CAMPING!! It isn't that bad. The staff is always friendly, the facilities are always kept clean, the full sites are plenty big, there's plenty of things to do in Mammoth Lakes (which is why we keep returning), the town has everything you need should you run out of something (without gouging you) and the locals are very friendly. We can't say enough good things... Read More
