Because we stayed at Bay Pines Trailer Park a yr. earlier, we made a return reservation many well in advance. We already knew this is primarily long term or permanent residents. When we arrived as scheduled we were given a site #72. This is a corner space with the door if the trail opening to the main road and croos street at the entrance to the pool. It was so tight the awning could not be opened because it would be in the road. Before leaving the office I requested a different site. I was... Read More

Before leaving the office I requested a different site. I was told there were no other openings. I pulled on the site and walked the the park. I found 5 other sites that were vacant. I returned to the office and asked again. I was told no because all 5 had other RVs.
All 5 sites remained vacant for the first 6 nights of our 7 night stay. The eve of our check out 3 of the 5 sites have RVs move in. On the moring of my departure I let the couple in the office (same as check in day) how disappointed I was on there handling our space rental. The man immediately claim I caused a scene when we got there and I stormed out and now I am doing it again. I asked if he thought I had raised my voice on checkin day or now. Both agreed I had not raised my voice. I let them know I would not return for my long time annual Morro Bay visit. That cause a responce there would be an space available for us.
BTW: If you have a dog the park map shows the place to walk your dog is outside and across the street from the park. Very little room to walk out of traffic except for the narrow space covered in Poison Oak.

To get your trailer level it takes a lot of work. If you have a dog or dogs they watch you like a hawk. All the workers are constantly watching your site for infractions of there dog policies. My wife was getting over a major surgery and could not leave the trailer. Our dog got away from me, with his leash on, I got him back in three minutes. We got strike 1.
The dog went potty out behind the trailer. Strike 2. The last incident was when my wife opened the door and the dog got out. I had him back in three minutes. Strike 3. No reprieve. They gave us 72 hours to leave. They say you have parking for two cars, NOT TRUE. We were their for 5 weeks. We wanted to be there for 6 months.
