This is one of our best vacation spots we have found so far. When we were running late we called and they said they would be there. when we pulled in they were very friendly. Checked us in as fast as they could. when we got to the site we were not happy I walked back to the office. And they were very happy to help. When I backed into the new one it was level wile still hooked up I dropped the trailer and the stabilizer's and it was done. We have a big back window and the view was incredible. they... Read More

I stayed here 2 nights, October 29-30, 2019. Overall a decent and inexpensive place to stay for easy beach access. Late October is very quiet along the beach, fairly busy in the RV park. I'm not sure where everyone was going, but in the early morning you could look from the Morro Rock north and see maybe 2-3 people, if any, so they weren't hanging out at the beach! Park is pet friendly with a smallish dog walk. Walk across Embarcadero and you've got miles of fairly flat beach heading north... Read More

Park is pet friendly with a smallish dog walk. Walk across Embarcadero and you've got miles of fairly flat beach heading north (supposedly OK for dogs going north). Grounds are well-maintained, restrooms are old but clean, quiet place with no major roads nearby. Only drawback can be seen pretty clearly if you take a look on your favorite mapping software (which doesn't say what it is). That large facility east of the park is the local sewage treatment plant, even though the sign out front identifies it as a hazardous household waste drop-off. If the wind is from on-shore, the odor is not very pleasant. Maybe you can count on off-shore breezes most of the year nobody else mentions this?

Things can't get much better than being a block away from a beautiful beach. We joined other RVers on the dunes next to the beach to watch beautiful sunsets. The park was well arranged for easy parking, and well kept. Checking in was a pleasure, as the staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. Then when we needed a minor repair, they referred us to someone in the park who did that kind of work. My only negative was that the laundry rooms (of which there are several at various... Read More

My only negative was that the laundry rooms (of which there are several at various sites) are small. There were enough washers for two of us couples to use, but not enough dryers. Overall, though, one of the nicest parks we stayed at during our 30-day travels.

Love this place!!! We had a pull thru site in the back, which was just fine. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Price is outstanding, half what they could easily get. The beach is a short walk across the street and was never crowded. Nice store and staff. They have a nice dog walk / park. Spent 3 nights here. Place is clean, quiet, and safe. As the Governator said, " I'll be back ".
First Tim RVer and first time staying here. Bathrooms are outdated but clean. The stay was great and the personnel were exceptional, especially the grounds keeper. We had a part break on the water tank which started leaking all over the park and the grounds keeper accommodated with a temporary part that worked out great. All it cost me was a beer. Now that's what I'm talking about!! Definitely going to make this a place we return to regularly. Oh and BTW, having the pet area is a major A+ factor.... Read More

This park is across the street from Morro Bay. It is the closest park to the bay and trails around the bay. We arrived after hours and our welcome pack with our space number and wifi code was on the office door. The restrooms and laundry facilities are a little dated but you can't beat the location.
A nice and clean campground that can accommodate just about any RV. Walking distance to the beach and restaurant/shopping tourist area. Can be a little crowded and noisy at times. However it's still my go to place at Morro Bay.
We enjoyed a nice stay here. The beach was nice and there was a Dog Beach. Pleasant.
Nice location and staff were pleasant. The spaces were a bit tight and the fine black gravel was a challenge when it was rainy, but overall a nice park. Try to get a cul de sac. Would return. Traveling in a Class C
We had a compact site in a "cul de sac" that fit our needs well. It is mostly concrete but is steps to the dunes and Morro rock. Easy to walk to beach and cute area of town. Lots of opportunities for walking and biking. Staff was helpful and many campers return regularly. I would recommend this park.
My wife and I have stayed here often and as usual the site was in great shape. Though we do not use the sites restrooms, I have had occasion to just drop in for a look and they are very clean...a bit dated and worn but clean. Here is a suggestion. If you have a good TV antenna, use one of their spaces without cable hook ups. their reception is sketchy at best so save the money and use your antenna for the good local channels. This is our Go To spot so we will be going back for sure...nice friendly... Read More
