We camped here for four days with our daughter and her family. We were in our 18" travel trailer, they were tent camping so they were in a different part of the park. We had FHU at our site which saved us. By that I mean, we had a decent site. From what I could see the water and elec only sites were cramped and the majority looked VERY unlevel. Our site was good size and pretty level with a picnic table and fire-ring. Sites are dirt but everything there is dirt - except the beach, which is... Read More

Our site was good size and pretty level with a picnic table and fire-ring. Sites are dirt but everything there is dirt - except the beach, which is gravel, not sand. The general store had soft-serve ice cream which the grand-kiddos loved. There was also movies under the stars, a "splash zone" at the beach ($8/person/hour)and boat rental by the hour. There is a small restaurant at the general store where the pizza was pretty good but just like so many places, they are severely under-staffed, though all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The view of Mt. Shasta from the beach is incredible! Be warned, there is no wifi and the bathhouses were built in the '50's. Cold water only.

Bad choice for a class A motor coach. Bad sites, uneven parking, just to tight quarters for big rigs.
We have visited Lake Siskiyou for years. It is a very family friendly campground with a general store, movie night under the stars, and a very nice beach with huge blow-up water toys. There are boat rentals and great fishing around the lake. For RVers, there are several RV only loops with full hookups in the trees--one down by the lake. There is a separate section for tenters and boondockers. We love the campground and will continue to make it a regular stop.
