We selected the Bonelli Bluffs at the recommendation of the RV store we purchased our trailer from, proximity to home and their website site which indicates the are a number one RV Resort. The staff at time of booking and during the stay were helpful and friendly and the location was close. If you enjoy wildlife there are birds, owls, racoons, rabbits and LOTS of skunks. The park is home to many residential campers. We had two sites reserved and in our particular area 4 of the 8 surrounding sites appear to be resident occupied (sheds, porches, etc.,) This is consistent throughout the park. The residents were not very happy about having weekend campers visiting their park. 1 resident ran a sprinkler in the common area 24/7 so we could not walk through "their area" and fabricated complaints from Fri-Sunday. The location overlooking the lake could eventually be a nice park but that is definitely going to take time. For now, make the drive to other establish RV camping parks.

We stayed here for a week in a 45' motorhome. The roads and sites are all paved. We did not have any problems getting to our site. The sites are very large! The views from the bluff are AMAZING! We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely will stay here again and would highly recommend this park.

*I never take this much time for a review* This is not a campground it more like a zoo! We just stayed here and this is for people like us who actually camp and are looking to do just that! For such a beautiful location it is not nice at all, the campsites, most, are postage stamp size and close to each other. Our site, the patio was facing the long term patio of another. we had no room to open the awning and no privacy. Not that camping is all that private but it is nice not to be stared at while... For such a beautiful location it is not nice at all, the campsites, most, are postage stamp size and close to each other. Our site, the patio was facing the long term patio of another. we had no room to open the awning and no privacy. Not that camping is all that private but it is nice not to be stared at while you do anything outside. This is a problem that could be solved by telling people that this is the situation when you book a spot, some might not care but some do. Shame on the front desk. They have rules plenty of them but they do not enforce ANY of them. We spent the entire day having music blasted at us from the RV facing us. Like many other reviews we called the front desk and they said they would send someone 2.5 hours later still blasting music. I call again and they said they could not find anyone blasting music! They knew my site number it was right next door and you could hear it from a football field away, what a bunch of liars. My wife downloaded a decibel level app just for the fun of it and it was louder then an airplane taking off BUT THEY could not find it? They blast music at terrorists to get them to come out and cause sleep deprivation in this manner. The RV playing the music was down by the beach that's why it was loud or they were on the other side of the RV. The RV next door was long term it is not the first time this was like this they know it and SHOULD let you know the site is bad to begin with so you can say yes or no when you know the whole story! There are park rangers running around all day wasting gas taking loops without doing anything, and plenty of help at the front desk but that is so they can take cigarette breaks every time you drive by. Some of that comment is just my frustration I am sure someone does work there but hey I can only base it on my experience. If you want a long term spot to live in maybe you could tolerate this place, I doubt it, but if you are truly camping than this is not your place. You can't read a book or the best part of camping, TAKE A NAP. With all the people working there you would think that the place would be clean at least but oh no! At the end of our stay we stopped by the main office to wash our hands and get one last bathroom break before hitting the highway. The bathroom at the MAIN OFFICE, your first stop at the campground is disgusting men's and women's. There was dirt from 1977 still on the floor the toilets were gross and the place smelled like a porta-potty, maybe worst. I have traveled the entire country back and forth 10+ times in the last decade and have not seen a bathroom this gross and the smell, wow! The smell was in both bathrooms. PILOT stations look like the Taj Mahal compared to this place, I have not seen much worse than this one! Plenty of workers with no one in the office but bathrooms like that, come on it is wrong and everybody knows it.

We stayed 5 days. Park was clean, but you can tell some people stay there a long time because of all the stuff outside the camper. I read a few reviews about the skunks, yes so don't leave "stuff" outside. The pool was nice, Kids enjoyed. One review mentioned plane noise, not that bad, the kids enjoyed watching them take off etc. The restrooms I used were clean. We have a shower in our camper so we did not use the parks. Main road was closed, we called to get directions to get in/get our trailer if needed (thankfully not!). The first phone call we were disconnected, the second call the lady was in a hurry (I understand) and gave us good enough directions when we could find a cell connection we knew what to look for on maps. We walked around, everyone was friendly as usual for most parks I have been too. We will stay again.

Beware of skunks Park alone was really nice with great views. Huge park. . However restrooms were inadequate. Hot and not clean. Showers were not very good and no place to lay your towels or clothes. Worst was the skunks every night roaming all over the park started about 7 PM. One campers dog got sprayed really bad. Older dog had to take him to a vet.

Do not ever stay at this horrid place! We were booked for over a week and did not stay a night. When you pull in it looked very pretty, but Our spot was way way in the back. The spots were right on top of each other It was a back in spot but there was absolutely no way to back in. A person was actually parked in our RV spot! Then two trucks were parked across from our spot right in our way. We called the office and they would do nothing to help. My husband knocked on all the RV doors and no one... Read More

We have two dogs we keep on lease at the parks but we saw others with two huge dogs running loose. We left there with no place to go on the weekend after 4th of July. To top it off we paid over $400 in advance and were told no refund even though we effectively had no spot! Supposedly the manager will call in the morning and discuss a refund but we plan to dispute the charges right away. This has been a complete nightmare.

We have stayed at this park twice now for overnight stays on our way to Sacramento or SLO, the first time we were delighted with the site by the lake, plenty of room, a picnic table, great views. The last time, I did not select a premium site, had a terrible time getting into our site with vehicles and trailers parked in front of RVs, it was so tight, the friendly guy next to us moved his car and helped guide us in. My advise, pay the difference and select a premium site if you have a larger RV.... Read More

over crowded and prices went up this year - about 40%... getting way too expensive. Average park, GREAT location, Good people.

Easy check in with very nice staff. We had an awesome site for the night with a great view of the lake. Just watch out for the skunks early evening.

We stayed here June 8th thru June 11th. in site F 167. This site is very crowed, the sites are divided by white lines not grass as shown on the park plan .. The noise and parties went on all night and staff did little to nothing to enforce quiet time rules. The sheriff and fire department were there one night trying to restore order... Not a place we will ever stay again...

One of the first parks that has actually lived up to its pictures! Beautiful park tucked up high above the bustle. The view of the "lake" is great. There are the cutest rabbits all around at night. We had a back in site and it was very wide with great space for all 4 slides and awnings. There are 4 loops, and from what I can tell the less expensive loops just have closer together spots and not quite as great a views of the lake (although I'm pretty sure you can see a portion of it anywhere... My site is relatively large compared to other campgrounds, and clean, but others look close especially if occupied by big rigs.. Camp is nearly full, but hey, it's June and this is southern California, but even though full, it is still nice and quiet. Do hear the kids playing and laughing but that's music to an old man's ears. Roads could be a little wider and many vehicles parked close to road. Only negative is bathrooms and showers, while clean, are not up to modern standards.. No shower... Read More

My Wife & I stayed 4 nights while visiting the RV show at the Fair Fax. The Park was 7/8 full mostly with seasonal tenants and very quiet. The park is grouped in sections along the mountain and each area has different views. We had a lake view at the edge of the road and the views were breath taking in the morning & evening. Hard to realize one is that close to the city. We brought our Kayaks and had a great time paddling on the lake. There are two swimming pools one for children & one for adults.... Read More

Although not heated we did find the pool a very refreshing 78 degrees. One problem with the GPS directions coming from the north is it brings you through the county park entrance requiring a fee. We turned around and entered off HWY 10. Only distraction is the is a small plan airport that is close and the private planes fly in and out all day and into the evening to about 9 PM. If in the area again we would certainly stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Stayed at "A" Hill. This CG is very well maintained and the roads and sites are paved. Of course, there was a VERY large group of discourteous campers whose bike riders would ride through campsites of others. Security was very much seen, they rode through the CG very often. We will be returning very soon.

Stayed for four days while visiting our daughter. Had a great time at the park. Beautiful views and well kept landscapes. Security is excellent. Would recommend to anyone staying near the inland empire or just visiting southern California.

This is one of the nicest parks in all of the area. It is very clean crisp and beautiful. From our campsite the sunsets are great and the view to the mountains behind us are beautiful especially when there's snow on them.
