Rehabbed older property with new RV sites & utilities. Very little shade, but a mountain view. A short distance from Royal Gorge, and 10 minutes to Canon City. Fully graveled, so no dust. Very good Wifi. Extremely well managed. From what we could see in the area, this small RV campground is a step above the rest I would not call it a resort. Some highway noise. Overall, nice, but pricey.
Stayed 10 days and paid in advance for a premium site. I was not able to select the site. When I got to the park, they assigned me a spot right next the property fence line. Directly on the other side of the fence was a horse barn and the smell was horrendous. My RV and everything it would have absorbed that smell after 10 days. I requested a site away from the smell and got a lower priced site and I was due a refund of $50.00, but instead only got $30 back. They said I was charged a $20 change... Read More

They said I was charged a $20 change fee even though I stayed the entire time agreed to from the beginning. There was no cable, no tv signals, and low quality internet service. The laundry facilities were poor so I went into town to wash clothing. And to top it off, the shower and bathroom facilities were closed the entire time because of "Covid". Dishonesty rubs me the wrong way so unfortunately the rating from my viewpoint is low. I gave them several opportunities to rectify the $20 change fee but they never did. I guess the $600 I was suppose to pay wasn't enough, they need to clip me for another $20 unfairly.

We travel a lot as we are Prison Ministry that goes across the country. I looked for a RV Park in Canon City and read reviews....settled on this one. I am so glad I did. Large lots, level spaces, patios...the fire pits are a little too deep and they are concrete so the fire can't breath, but I understand the need for that. The winds here coming off the mountains can be pretty wild. But it didn't make for a great campfire. But everything else here is awesome. Clean, well kept. Very friendly and helpful... Read More

We looked around at some other parks while we were here and we are so glad we chose this one. We were here days and really enjoyed it...kind of hate to leave!
