The Bears Ears campground is a state park and has sparse accommodations. However the lake is beautiful with deer "camping" along with you. Everything is clean and well kept and the rangers are helpful and friendly. This lake has northern pike and BIG smallmouth bass. and is fun to fish. There are hiking trails, lots of picnic areas, a swim beach and tons of serenity esp in the shoulder seasons.
