As some earlier reviews stated, the campground is older, but maintained. There are a few long term tenants, but the place stays relatively quiet and clean. They may not have "resort style" amenities or appearance, but they don't charge resort prices either. That can't be said about most of the other campgrounds in the area. I would recommend a stay if you are visiting the Colorado Springs area.

This park has not maintained itself and allowed long term users to have trash and litter on their sites, The first time staying here I was in a better location and didn't have to view the mess everyday. I did however experience constant brownouts to the point where the motorhome told me to disconnect from their power. Hotter temperatures and more A/C's running.. This time my assigned slot had the concrete formed around the sewer hook up in such a way I couldn't get a tight connection with standard... Read More

Their dump station barely had enough clearance to work. Gave them a 2nd chance but they failed. Never used their restroom. Avoid staying here.

Found this place when others in the Colorado Springs area were full, or downright unfriendly. This family owned park 8 miles east of Colorado Springs offered exactly what we needed while our tow vehicle was in for repair. The owners and staff were friendly and flexible with the dates. The laundry and showers were clean. While there are a few long term tenants, the place maintained a friendly vibe. Each site has bright comfortable Adirondack chairs, the laundry and shower rooms were clean, the... Read More

Each site has bright comfortable Adirondack chairs, the laundry and shower rooms were clean, the wifi was fast and the convenience store had anything we needed for our stay. Obvious that the family takes pride in offering a great value for travelers. The towns of Falcon and Peyton have plenty of shopping and a great Farmer's Market.

This is a older, smaller, family owned park. It had some of the biggest sites of all the places I've been. Nice stay. I'll be back.
